For full disclosure to anyone reading this board for the 1st time or have never seen me post - I'm absolutely for ANYONE in this game who is willing to be in it (or their families agree to it)...(and except for Invader I or Benoit). I will use them all in my fed on an equal playing field, not playing favorites, and enjoy every second of it. This great game gives me sanity from this everyday thing we call life and I love it.
That being said, if there are future polls, in order to get our way, should we put down others choices, whine when our choices aren't picked...in order to have ours released? Seems like that's the way to go
I deleted my account a day or so after the poll was "supposed to close" and, lets face it, it wasn't a nailbiter, meaning 1 or 2 votes separated Crazy and Dundee. It was about 12 votes when I deleted my account, so to be honest...it wasn't going down to the stroke of midnight.
Just wondering everyone elses thoughts. And a "good business decision"? We know that's malarkey.

A good business decision, sure cause obviously a lot of people wanted Super Crazy. It is still a little weak to put in people who lost. Like either one or not, Dundee and Super Crazy should have been in no questions asked and two other people in the poll.
I said after all the uproar don't look for another poll with five names in it again, and when it first opened I also said about being very surprised to see so many names since Tom likes to keeps his secrets. The generic enhancement talent card might or might not be used by me, but how many people would pick Meanie, Bernard or Kurrgan instead? I think most.

I just want to say the following: In what fucking solar system does it make sense to put Giant Bernard on a poll, only to have the guy lose, put someone else from the same poll in a set, but not make him an SE as well?
I like Molly Holly, and sort of like Super Crazy, but I'd rather have Bernard than them. At least I can use Bernard. Looking at the lineup for 10, it seems like the only reason I personally have to order (other than supporting the game) is Thesz.

As I recall from my failing memory...this is not the first poll...further...I don't think everyone mentioned in previous polls has appeared...at least not yet...I am not convinced that just because someone is in the poll...we will get them sooner rather than later.
Like Double A...I am for alnmost anyone that is willing to be in LOW...there are some, Meanie for example, that don't think I would have a use for...but if others do...more power to them.
I am saddened about the number of people who don't respect Dundees position in teh history of wrestling. Certainly, he is no Hogan or Flair...but his place will/should be higher than A-Train or Supercrazy. From the discussions elsewhere...I wouldn't have been surprized if some didn't even want Thesz because they never saw him. Sad.
Does anyone recall those on previous polls that still do not have cards?

They also had the poll with Muldoon and Evan Lewis

Right and I agree, just because we've seen a name in a poll doesn't mean he will get a card someday. Meanie is a good example. Wonder if losing two polls means he doesn't even get in another one, which would imply he's out of chances. Oh, and the infamous Kenny King lost a poll.

Overall those who are signed should get a card somewhere down the road whether it be official cardstock, promoter/pdf file or online only special and not sit on them and never use them...

Right again, I think there are people signed who just are not going to get a printed card. So it's down to the promoter or for online.

How many times can vegas remind us he signed Kenny King too, and now he thinks Lynn might help King get a card since they had a feud in ROH. That was such a huge part of Lynn's career.

Come on, the wrestling world knows of the feud between Lynn and King. It's up there with Flair-Steamboat, Von Erichs-Freebirds, Lawler-Dundee, Rich-Sawyer

Big EXALT for the first person to go over to that thread and post "Hey guys, don't know if this has been mentioned before but what are the chances of getting Kenny King in the game?"

One night in a Las Vagas bar
Guy, wearing a Seahawks jersey, is sitting alone sipping on a Guiness when he notices a hot chick at the bar
He slowly slides back in his chair, pushes himself up, and slowly slicks back his hair making sure no hair is out of place (because cool slicked back hair is the thing).
He struts over to the bar and leans up against the bar as the hot chick is talking to her friend.
“Ahem”, says the Seahawk fan
The hot chick slowly turns around and says, “Uh, yeah?”
“What’s up babe? You know I signed Kenny King?
“What are you? You work for a sports team,” questions the hot chick
“Naw babe, Kenny King is a wrestler. I signed him for a card and dice wrestling game.”
The hot chick giggles at her friend and says to Seahawk guy, “Okayyyyy.”
“So maybe I can get that number and I can take you to a Pro Wrestling Guerilla show. I can get us tickets in the front row.”
The hot chick’s giggles turns to laughter, “Uhh, thanks but no thanks.”
She picks up her drink and scurries off with her friend.
“So you know I signed Kenny King right?”
