Angle Developments:
The NEW NWA World Tag Team Champions Kevin Sullivan and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams are out for an interview. Sullivan says that the dragons of the NWA have finally been slain. For 407 days the Road Warriors dominated the tag team division like few have ever done before. But the Varsity Club took them out and are the new tag team champions. Now, it's their turn to dominate the NWA. Williams issues an open challenge. Anytime, anywhere, they'll defend these belts and leave broken bodies behind them.
NWA Commissioner Whipper Billy Watson is out to announce the final 8 teams in the Crockett Cup:
25. Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Koko B. Ware 26. the Samoan Island Tribe 27. the Bolsheviks 28. Doring and Roadkill 29. Paul London and Brian Kendrick 30. Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Luke 31. Fritz Von Goering and Maurice Tillet 32. Steve Corino and Ricky Landell

Main Event: John Pesek d. Duane Gill w/ the Double Wristlock
Notes:
*1 - The Hennigs charge the ring after the match. They double team S.D. Jones and put the boots to him. Curt hits the Hennig Plex and Larry does a fake three count. Curt spits his gum on Jones and they walk out of the ring.
Angle Developments:
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Johnny Saint is backstage. He tells the WoS that he'll never join their group and teaming with Ted Dibiase was a declaration of that. If they want to settle things in the ring, he'll take on any members of the group. He'll even put his belt on the line against Nigel.
Al Snow is backstage. He feels betrayed by D'Lo Brown. He's a little stunned by his actions over the past several weeks. He's tried talking but that's gotten him nowhere. He might as well just try to beat some sense into him now.
Bill Dundee is backstage. He wants to take this time to challenge the Mountie for the Television Title. They've had some close matches lately and he thinks he should be the top contender for that belt.

*2 - Gorgeous George argues with the referee after the disqualification while Mil Mascaras climbs to the top rope. George turns and Mil Mascaras catches him with the Crossbody Attack.
Angle Developments:
Andre the Giant and S.D. Jones are out for an interview. S.D. Jones hopes things work out and they beat the Hennigs during the Crockett Cup. Nothing would make him happier than to deny those two that reward money. Andre speaks up. The money is nice but he would really like to get a shot at the tag titles. It's been his goal since coming to the NWA to wear a championship belt and he came up short in his match with Lou Thesz last year. Winning the tag titles would be redeeming himself to a degree.
Jmmy Snuka is out for an interview. He's been surveying the landscape of the NWA and he doesn't like what he sees. The Destroyer has been getting away with sub-par title defenses for months now and that's an absolute disgrace. If he were the U.S. Champ, he would be defending against only the highest caliber of opponent. The Destroyer walks on to the set and takes the mic for a second. He tells Snuka to step up to the plate if he thinks he can wear the gold and meet the challenge on a monthly basis like he has. He'd be more than happy to give Snuka a lesson inside of the ring. Snuka says that he would be happy to end the Destroyer's run with the belt.
Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express are out for an interview. Cornette mentions that next Monday is the big Crockett Cup tournament. The Cup is going to be a statement from Beautiful Bobby and Loverboy Dennis. They are going to win that prize money and that title shot and they're going to do it in style. He tells the male NWA fans to lock up their women because the Midnight Express are coming to town and taking no prisoners.
Ivan Koloff is out for an interview. He calls Jim Londos a prettyboy phony. As far as he's seen, Londos hasn't beaten anybody in the NWA. So why do the announcers and fans act like he's a legit contender for all the belts. He wants to knock Londos down a couple of pegs and remind the fans that he's just a mediocre wrestler.
Paul Ellering and the Road Warriors are out for an interview. Ellering tells the Varsity Club that they haven't seen the last of the Road Warriors. Hawk says that the Varsity Club has them seeing red after the way they stole the belts from them. He wants revenge and he wants it in the worst way possible. He warns the Varsity Club to watch their backs. Animal agrees with Hawk and promises that the belts will be back where they belong really soon.
Next Week:
Jim Londos and Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff and Eddie Gilbert in the main event...
Johnny Saint vs. David Taylor...
also in action will be Frank Gotch, Midnight Express, Bobo Brazil, the Sheik, Andre the Giant and S.D. Jones, the Mongols, the Valiants and Hillbilly Jim.

Main Event: Magnum TA d. Joshua Stroud w/ the Belly to Belly Suplex
Angle Developments:
Al Snow and Val Venis are backstage. Snow says that he decided to get a little backup with the Monster Factory causing trouble. Together, they're going after the Monster Factory and they're going to take out the members one by one.
The World of Sport are backstage. Nigel is happy because David Taylor is going to put a beating on Johnny Saint on the upcoming episode of World Championship Wrestling. This match is going to be payback time for the WoS. Saint will be lucky to have a career after next week.
Jimmy Hart and NWA World Television Champion the Mountie are backstage. Hart brings up the fact that the Mountie has beaten Dundee in the past but they'll be happy to notch another victory against him. The Mountie calls Dundee a lawless man that needs some respect beaten into him.
Bobby Heenan and the Hennigs are backstage. S.D. Jones has gotten a little too smug since he started teaming up with Andre the Giant. S.D. Jones is still a loser, he just happens to have a really strong partner. Things aren't over between them just yet. The Hennigs can still prevail.

*2 - Ivan Koloff and Jim Londos brawl around the set while Eddie Gilbert pounds on the beaten Magnum TA as the show fades to black.
Angle Developments:
NWA World Tag Team Champions Kevin Sullivan and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams are out for an interview. Sullivan thinks the Crockett Cup is a great idea as it will give them a chance to scout 31 other teams up close and personal. And on top of that, they have a chance to win two million dollars because they have the belt. Williams gets on the mic. Two million dollars is a lot of money and he's got some big plans for his half of the prize money. Plus, this tournament is about making a statement. It's about showing all of those other teams in the NWA that they are not going to be easy to beat in any situation.
NWA World Heavyweight Champion Lou Thesz is out for an interview. His big title defense against Bruiser Brody is going to be at the Crockett Cup. People seem to doubt his chances inside of the steel cage. He's overcome the odds repeatedly in the last year plus and he'll do it here. He still has a long reign left and this is just another bump in that road.
Bill Alphonso, Rob Van Dam and Sabu are out for an interview. He can't wait for his team to win a title shot and that million dollars in the Crockett Cup tournament. Then they can finally be the crowned champions in the NWA.
NWA United States Champion the Destroyer is out for an interview. He's not afraid of Jimmy Snuka. Snuka has a big mouth and he likes to run his mouth and talk big when there's nothing at all on the line for him. Well, he's got news for Snuka. He's had something on the line since he won this belt back in November. He's been wrestling one big match after the next and he knows what it takes to get it done. All of these guys talk big and then they come up short when it's all on the line.
Next Week:
Bobo Brazil vs. Fritz Von Goering in the main event...
Johnny Saint defends the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship against Nigel McGuinness...
also in action will be Mil Mascaras, Harley Race, the Road Warriors, Jimmy Snuka, NWA United States Champion the Destroyer, Diamond Dallas Page, Masked Superstars and the Valiants.

Main Event: New Age Outlaws d. the Mulkeys w/ the Pump Handle Slam
Angle Developments:
Larry Sharpe is backstage. The Monster Factory isn't worried about Al Snow and Val Venis. They have big plans for the NWA and no one is going to stand in their way.
Bill Dundee is backstage. The Mountie is talking a big game and he is the champ right now. But The Mountie is looking past him to bigger challenges down the road. That's a huge mistake. It's a mistake that's going to cost him the TV Title.
The Ortons are backstage. Bob Orton Jr. is excited because tomorrow they have a chance to earning a cool million dollars in the Crockett Cup. Sr. takes the mic. On top of the money they can earn a shot at the tag team titles. That's a win-win situation if you ask him.

The Kangaroos are taking America by storm, so tune in and see what they'll do next.
Hartford and Reginald Love are out for an interview. Hartford thinks that they should be in line for a title shot. They didn't win the Crockett Cup but they beat the champions clean in the middle of the ring. That should count for something. Just then the NWA World Tag Team Champions Kevin Sullivan and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams walk onto the set. Sullivan calls their win at the Crockett Cup a different situation. The Love Brothers wouldn't stand a chance if the belts were on the line. Williams agrees with his assessment. Reginald says they should put the belts on the line on next week's show if that's the case. Sullivan and Williams laugh and agree. Next week, the belts are on the line!
Mil Mascaras is out for an interview. His challenge to Lou Thesz was out of respect. Respect for the man and the lineage of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. He wants to wear the 10 lbs. of gold and to do that he has to beat the best wrestler in the world today. There's not going to be any funny business here. Just two men fighting for the ultimate prize in wrestling today.
Jimmy Snuka is out for an interview. He had a life revelation back in the winter. He realized that the fans loving you gets you nothing. Wrestling is about what you can take no matter the costs. The fans can stick it for all he cares. He wants money and glory, nothing else.
Jim Londos and Magnum TA are backstage. Last week got a little wild didn't it? TA says that Eddie Gilbert has been a thorn in his side for far too long. He wants to face Eddie Gilbert in a steel cage match at the Great American Bash PPV. No interference, no funny business, just two men settling their issues once and for all. Jimmy Hart and NWA World Television Champion the Mountie are backstage. The Mountie says that he's going to bring an outlaw like Bill Dundee to justice. The Mountie always gets his man.
Eddie Gilbert is backstage. He'll gladly face Magnum TA inside of the steel cage. He's ready to end this rivalry once and for all. And he plans to do that by putting Magnum TA out of action permanently.
Bobby Heenan and the Hennigs are backstage. Heenan says that things haven't been settled with S.D. Jones just yet. They were busy training for the Crockett Cup so they let him slide for a bit. Bobo Brazil is out for an interview. He challenges the Sheik to a match on next week's show. No gimmicks, just a match to see who is truly the better man.
NWA World Tag Team Champions Kevin Sullivan and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams are out for an interview. Sullivan says that it's obvious that they have a giant target on their back now. Everyone wants to come to town and take a crack at getting the gold. Well, they aren't going to roll over for anyone. Whoever can win these belts are going to have to crawl through hell and back again to wear the gold. A high price will be paid by whoever thinks they can wear these belts. Williams tells the Kangaroos to give it up and head back to Australia. Only a fool would try to take them on for the belts.
Jimmy Snuka is outside of the building. He talks about how he's spent the majority of his career being held back by the glass ceiling. How the fans would fill the arenas to see him wrestle but promoters would never give him opportunities to hold a championship. He's tired of having nothing to show for his career. His goal is glory and championships mean glory. That's why he's going to take the United States Championship from the Destroyer. He wants to finally taste the glory of being a champion in the NWA.

Bill Dundee hits the Superstar Bomb and then covers the Mountie. He self counts the three as the crowd cheers him on. Bill Dundee walks off the set saying that's what's going down this Saturday night.
Angle Developments:
Johnny Saint is backstage. Nigel McGuinness was the better man a week ago. He lost his championship because of it. But he's not a finished man yet. He's going to train twice as hard and he's going to watch some film. Nigel hasn't seen the last of him, there will be a reckoning between them and he'll be winning back the belt.
Magnum TA is backstage. He's been going back and forth with Eddie Gilbert for months now. Frankly, he's ready to move on with his career. He wants to get back in the mix to regain the United States Championship eventually. He can't do that with Gilbert constantly knocking on his door. He plans for this cage match to be their final battle.
Bobby Heenan and the Masked Superstars are backstage. Heenan brought a couple of old friends back to handle that traitor King Kong Bundy and the Monster Factory. He reminds the fans that the Superstars are former NWA World Tag Team Champions and have achieved more in the NWA than anyone in the Monster Factory. One by one, his team will remove members of the Monster Factory until Bundy stands alone. Then his revenge will be brutal.
S.D. Jones is backstage. He challenges Curt Hennig to face him at the Great American Bash PPV. If Hennig is so confident that he can win then he should put his money where his mouth is.

Angle Developments:
NWA World Heavyweight Champion Lou Thesz came out for his exhibition match. He was joined by Gene Ligon, Mike Jackson and Doug Vines. Thesz worked each of the men and showed off his technical prowess for the crowd. During the exhibition, Mil Mascaras walked to the ringside area. He climbed into the ring and Thesz stopped what he was doing. Mascaras asked if Thesz would like to work with him for the exhibition and Thesz agreed to the challenge. They locked up and Mascaras grabbed a headlock. Thesz tried to fight out but Mascaras had the move locked in tight. Thesz got Mascaras into the ropes and slipped out. Thesz grabbed a waistlock takedown and slapped on a wristlock. Mascaras struggled to his feet and reversed the hold. Thesz backed into the corner and sent Mascaras into the opposite corner. Mascaras quickly jumped to the top turnbuckle and caught the surprised Thesz with the Crossbody Attack. The referee jumped in and counted the three. Mil Mascaras has pinned The World Champion in an exhibition match!
Eddie Gilbert is out for an interview. Magnum TA might be a former United States Champion but that doesn't matter to him. As far as he's concerned, Eddie Gilbert is the uncrowned champion in the NWA. You can look up and down the roster and not find as complete of a package as you see with him. And, inside the steel cage, no one can protect Magnum TA from the Fireball.
NWA United States Champion the Destroyer is out for an interview. He was at one point at the very peak of the mountain in the NWA. He's won a lot of hardware and he's beaten a long list of opponents since the NWA opened it's doors in October of 2010. Jimmy Snuka has a lot of anger and that can take you places. But Jimmy Snuka doesn't have the accomplishments and achievements like he does. Jimmy Snuka does't get results like the Destroyer does. That's why at the Great American Bash, he's going to be the one with his arm raised at the end of the night.
Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Luke are backstage. Jim says that Brody tried his best but he couldn't take either of them out. Jim has some unfinished business with Brody. It's time for some revenge and it's going to start next week.
Next Week:
Buddy Rogers vs. Ilio Dipaolo in the main event...
Hillbilly Jim vs. Bruiser Brody...
also in action will be Rob Van Dam and Sabu, Antonino Rocca, Midnight Express, Ivan Koloff, Jim Londos, Killer Bees, Freddie Blassie and the Hamilton Wrecking Crew.

He grabs Nigel and tosses him out of the ring. Colt helps Saint out of the ropes.
The Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant is backstage. The Mountie's tactics aren't cool by any standards. He might have got one over on Bill Dundee but he's not going to be able to pull the same thing on him.
King Kong Bundy is backstage. He tells Heenan to bring on the Masked Superstars. He isn't afraid of them.

*2 - Dipaolo continues to pound away at Rogers after the bell with some big right hands. Rogers ducks a charge and Dipaolo crashes into the ring post. Rogers smashes Dipaolo into the ring post and then rolls him into the ring. Rogers struts and then applies the Figure Four Grapevine as the show fades to black.
Angle Developments:
Mil Mascaras is out for an interview. Lou Thesz has been the NWA World Heavyweight Champion for 455 days. That's a really long time to hold any kind of a championship. That's a lot of challengers that he's put away. Few men could hold the World Title for that long. Honestly, he's not even sure if he could hold the belt that long. But last week is what matters right now. Last week, he pinned the Thesz in the middle of that ring. The referee counted the 1-2-3, right there. If that had been a title match, he would've been the new World Heavyweight Champion. Lou Thesz has been the man for over a year but there's a new alpha dog breathing down his neck and at the Great American Bash, we'll see who the top dog really is.
Abdullah Farouk and the Sheik are out for an interview. Farouk says that he's filed a formal complaint with NWA Commissioner Whipper Billy Waton and the Georgia State Athletic Commissioner over the brutal attack he suffered at the hands of Bobo Brazil last week. He doesn't have a wrestlers license, he has a managers license. That means that brutes such as Bobo Brazil should keep their hands off of him.
NWA United States Tag Team Champions Mike and Ted Dibiase are out for an interview. They get blindsided by Rob Van Dam and Sabu almost immediately. It's a wild brawl around ringside as Rob Van Dam and Mike Dibiase brawl while Ted Dibiase and Sabu go at it. RVD throws a chair right into the face of Mike while Ted gets the better of Sabu in the ring with the Loaded Glove. RVD catches Ted with a spin heel kick. Bill Alphonso grabs a chair and RVD hits a Van Terminator on Ted Dibiase. They drag Mike Dibiase into the ring and Sabu hits a Triple Jump Moonsault. Bill Alphonso takes the U.S. Tag Team Title belts and place them around the waists of Rob Van Dam and Sabu.
Wild Red Berry and the Fabulous Kangaroos are out for an interview. Berry talks about how Sullivan and Williams are tough opponents for the Kangaroos. They like to brawl and they're just a couple of tough guys. But Sullivan and Williams didn't go through 31 other teams to become the 2012 Crockett Cup winners. His team did that. His team beat the elite teams of the NWA to win that honor. Sullivan and Williams might be the champions but they lost in the first round of that same tournament. At the Great American Bash his team will be the 2012 Crocket Cup winners and the NWA World Tag Team Champions.
Next Week:
Road Warriors vs. the Mongols in the main event...
Adrian Street vs. Magnum TA...
Ilio Dipaolo vs. Johnny Rodz...
also in action will be the Road Warriors, Harley Race, the Hennigs, the Sheik, Fabulous Kangaroos, Jim Londos and Diamond Dallas Page.
