JWA SOUTHEASTERN ASIA TOUR Singapore July 30, 2119 Mil Mascaras def. Fritz Von Goering A much-needed win for the masked Legend. Von Goering took a huge beating for a long time, but managed to keep the match going. He did turn things around briefly, but Mascaras was too much and forced a submission with a bow and arrow. Nick Bockwinkel def. Danny Hodge An awesome match between two former members of the Heenan Family. This was a spectacular back and forth wrestling match. Bockwinkel really went to work on Hodge but no matter what he did Hodge wouldn't go away. Bockwinkel barely avoided losing and tried to take Hodge out with a piledriver on the floor but that didn't work. They kept going round and round until Bockwinkel won with the sleeper (Hodge 6 coins). William Muldoon def. Steve Williams Muldoon came up with a great win. Dr. Death really dominated with his power advantage, using the Oklahoma Stampede and the backdrop driver. Muldoon got his moves in but Williams maintained control. Muldoon twice dropped Williams on his head and scored the pinfall (Williams 4 coins). Terry Gordy def. Johnny Valentine An all-out knock down drag out battle between these two. They went toe to toe and around the arena. Both had the upperhand but Gordy poured it on and put Valentine out with the sleeper. Gordy came back in the ring after the match and attacked Valentine again. BLOCK B ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. def. The Crusaders A great opening tag bout in Block B here tonight. Lyons and Robertson have looked good so far in the tournament. Bobo Brazil is the one who was in bad shape most of the match. Both teams kept making tags. Magnum T.A. came in and the belly to belly put Robertson down for the pin (Bobo 5 coins). Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger def. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo A nice matchup here with three of the quickest men in all of wrestling. The teams went back and forth until Liger's brainbuster put DiPaolo down and gave them their first loss of the tournament. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka def. The Enforcers by D.Q. This was a great tag team match that ended up getting out of hand. The Enforcers fought hard to keep the match going as Brody and Snuka took the fight to Valentine and Zbyszko. This one went a long time but a jumping knee drop brought Zbyszko into the ring with a chair and the bell rang. Rob Van Dam & Sabu def. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson This match was almost a total massacre of Corino & Danielson. Corino was completely destroyed the entire match, but somehow stayed alive. Danielson had flashes of offense but RVD and Sabu were on fire and couldn't be slowed down. Allison Danger even interfered but she was disposed of and Corino went down to the camel clutch (Corino 8 coins). Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. The Sheik & The Terrible Turk It was all the Japan duo as the Turk could not get out of the ring. The Sheik kept coming in to break up the pin but he was taken care of each time. The Turk was double teamed as the former world tag team champions tagged in and out until finally going down after a hiplock by Rikidozan. BLOCK A ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan def. Red Pepper The twin towers remain undefeated in the tournament. Gomez couldn't do anything against the size of Jonathan, but Bastien had a brief burst of offense. He missed off the top rope and Baba almost beat him with the neckbreaker drop. Bastien never got a tag and Baba chopped him down for the pin. Kangaroos def. Sheepherders Red Berry's men also remained without a blemish in the tournament. Berry turned the match around with a strategic distraction. A double team on Luke Williams finished him off. Super Destroyers def. Mongols One of the longest, hardest-fought matches so far in the tournament. Destroyer and Masked Superstar dominated the entire way, but Bolo and Bepo stayed alive the whole time. It was just a war of attrition and the Destroyer finally ended this with the figure four on Bepo (each Mongol 5 coins). Foreign Force def. Road Warriors by D.Q. A second straight loss for the Legion of Doom. All four men should have been disqualified at many different points in the match. This was a fight plain and simple with most of it out of the ring. Fuji and Koloff kept interferring and breaking up pins while wearing down Hawk and Animal. In the end it was the Road Warriors being disqualified after both stayed in the ring too long, and the three time world tag team champions were irate. Vachons def. Jim Duggan & Crusher Mad Dog and the Butcher isolated Hacksaw and went to work. Duggan couldn't get the tag and Mad Dog put him away. Block A Standings 1. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan 8 pts. Kangaroos 8 3. Super Destroyers 5 4. Road Warriors 4 5. Vachons 4 6. Red Pepper 3 7. Sheepherders 2 8. Foreign Force 2 9. JWA SOUTHEASTERN ASIA TOUR Malaysia August 2, 2119 We've reached the halfway point of the All-Asia Tag Team Championship Round Robin Tournament. Elsewhere, Nick Bockwinkel and Frank Gotch have positioned themselves ahead of the rest in the chase for an All-Asia heavyweight title match at the end of the tour. Steve Williams def. Fritz Von Goering A nice opening matchup as Dr. Death eventually overpowered Von Goering. Fritz hung in there as long as he could, being dropped on his head and pounded with power moves. The Oklahoma Stampede finished him off. William Muldoon def. Nick Bockwinkel A great match as Muldoon fought off the attack of Bockwinkel, prolonged the match, and pulled out the win. Bockwinkel really controlled the bout, but Muldoon is tough to put away. Muldoon caught a flying headmare for the win (Muldoon 5 coins, Bockwinkel 3 coins). Iron Sheik def. Danny Hodge A non-title match and Hodge gave the Iron Sheik a little bit of a scare. The All-Asia champ injured Hodge's back with the loaded boot and Boston crab before beating him with the Camel Clutch. Johnny Valentine def. Terry Gordy by D.Q. A rematch from the last show where Gordy attacked Valentine after he had already beaten him. Another match like the first that was non-stop pounding on each other back and forth. Gordy went too far on the outside and was disqualified. Mil Mascaras def. Frank Gotch The first loss of the tour for Frank Gotch. He looked good early but Mascaras then took over. Gotch wouldn't go away though but couldn't slow down the attack of the Luchador. Mascaras used the top rope for the win (Gotch 6 coins). BLOCK B ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger def. Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. A nice opening tag bout in tonight's round of matches. Bobo Brazil was in a long time before getting the tag. Magnum put the belly to belly on Tiger Mask. It was Bobo in trouble again and Liger scored the three count after a shoda. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson def. The Crusaders Once again Corino started the match and was in all kinds of trouble. Billy Red Lyons cleaned house and had the sleeper on. Dewey Robertson tried to come off the top rope but Allison Danger knocked him off. Corino made the cover and won the match after two straight losses for his team. The Enforcers def. The Sheik & The Turk Valentine and Zbyszko were able to handle both opponents and not let the match go to the outside. It was the Turk down at the start and later was the one to take the fall. Zbyszko put the Turk down with several knee smashes. Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo The former world tag team champions didn't need long to win this one. Rocca took over at the start against Inoki. He got away to Rikidozan with DiPaolo in the ring. Big chops and a hiplock by Rikidozan and DiPaolo was finished. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka def. Rob Van Dam & Sabu The first win by pinfall for the team of Brody and Snuka. Brody dominated against RVD. The Superfly got the tag and went up top for the splash and the win. Sabu came in and all four brawled around the arena. BLOCK A ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan def. The Vachons The big fan-favorite team continued their unbeaten run through the tournament. Mad Dog was in the ring a long time, but the Vachons came back with some offense against both of the twin towers. Butcher saved Mad Dog after the neckbreaker drop, but he was sent out of the ring. A double running boot put Mad Dog down for the three count. Foreign Force def. Red Pepper A real good back and forth contest here. The Russian Bear was in a lot of trouble, then it was Red Bastien needing a tag. Gomez had things going his way but the Foreign Force turned it around. The Russian Bear Hug by Koloff ended the match. The Sheepherders def. Jim Duggan & The Crusher An old-school knockdown brawl is what this match was. The Crusher took the double team finisher several times early in the match. All four kept battling back and forth. The Crusher was hit on the ropes from the outside and pinned. The Sheepherders knocked Duggan to the floor and double teamed the Crusher. The Kangaroos def. The Mongols Red Berry's team is still undefeated and tied with Baba and Jonathan for first place. The Roos turned the match in their favor in the corner. The marble bor leglock by Costello on Bepo ended the match. Road Warriors def. Super Destroyers This was an incredible matchup that could easily be the best of the entire tournament. An insane amount of pinfall attempts, saves, interference, brawls on the floor, finishers, and anything else you can imagine. Masked Superstar showed amazing resiliency before going down to a double team after the Doomsday Device, powerslam finishers of Hawk and Animal (M.S. had a 10 pin and rolled an 11, had 5 coins, LOD had 3 coins each). Block A Standings 1. Kangaroos 10 pts. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan 10 3. Road Warriors 6 4. Super Destroyers 5 5. Foreign Force 4 Sheepherders 4 Vachons 4 8. Red Pepper 3 9. JWA SOUTHEASTERN ASIA TOUR Cambodia August 4, 2119 William Muldoon def. Danny Hodge A very good technical match between these two. Hodge seemed to have the upperhand but Muldoon slowly started to turn the tide. Hodge took some heavy blows but fought hard before another toss put him down for the pin (Hodge 6 coins). Frank Gotch def. Fritz Von Goering Mr. Fuji sent Von Goering after Gotch as a roadblock before getting to All-Asia champion the Iron Sheik. Gotch really dominated, but Von Goering showed a lot of toughness and fought hard. He went outside a lot but Gotch stayed on top. A second time with the Toe Hold finished off Von Goering (4 coins). Johnny Valentine def. Terry Gordy Another violent but short encounter between these two. It went back and forth at first but Valentine hit his skullcrusher twice and grabbed a three-count. Steve Williams def. The Iron Sheik A huge win in a non-title match over the All-Asia champion. Dr. Death exploded with offense, but the Iron Sheik whethered the storm. The two spent time on the outside and the match went back and forth. Williams did eveything but use the Oklahoma Stampede. The Iron Sheik was on top for awhile but couldn't get the Camel Clutch applied. Williams scored the win with a powerbomb (Iron Sheik 4 coins). Nick Bockwinkel def. Mil Mascaras A big win for Nick Bockwinkel as he looks to secure an All-Asia title match at the end of the tour. He got the sleeper on and didn't let it go until Mascaras went down and out. BLOCK B ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger def. The Crusaders A good high-flying match here. The teams went back and forth before the Japanese duo took over. Robertson kicked out of the Fisherman Buster by Liger but not the Tiger Suplex of Tiger Mask. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson def. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka A huge upset win for Corino and Danielson. This match it was Danielson getting killed in and out of the ring by Brody and Snuka. Corino had some success facing off against both men. Corino broke things up after the superfly leap. Corino superkicked Brody and grabbed a three count out of nowhere. Brody and Snuka proceeded to decimate the King of Old School and the American Dragon after the match. Rob Van Dam & Sabu def. The Sheik & The Turk by D.Q. A very interesting match with Sabu squaring off against his uncle the Sheik. RVD and Sabu controlled the pace but a lot of the fight took place on the outside. The Sheik ended up taking most of the beating and later it was the Turk getting his team disqualified. Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. A good match between four fan favorites. Bobo and Inoki faced off for awhile. Rikidozan put Magnum down over and over with the hiplock. Then Inoki nailed him with the enzuigiri for the win. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo def. The Enforcers A long hard-fought match. Rocca and DiPaolo held the advantage most of the way. Greg Valentine was on the defensive while Larry Zbyszko carried the offense for their team. DiPaolo put the Hammer in the airplane spin and then a headlock takeover for the pine. BLOCK A ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
The Sheepherders def. The Mongols As expected, mostly a wild brawl here. Bepo and Bolo had things in hand but the Sheepherders took over. Both Mongols were double teamed but it was Bepo isolated and finally finished off by Luke Williams. Super Destroyers def. Red Pepper An easy win here as the Destroyer took care of everything himself. The figure four and bombs away on Pepper Gomez put him down for the three count. The Vachons def. The Foreign Force Another quick match as Mad Dog Vachon put a hurting on Ivan Koloff in a hurry. The piledriver ended the match. Jim Duggan & The Crusher def. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan A great match will big repercussions for the tournament. First win and first loss for the respective teams. A very long contest that went back and forth. Duggan and Jonathan got tied up along the ropes and Hacksaw pulled out a pinning predicament for the win. The Kangaroos def. The Road Warriors Two former world tag team champions that know each other all too well. A great match that was toe to toe and dead even. Both teams were in good and bad shape as the match progressed. Roy Heffernan won the match by submission over the Animal. Block A Standings 1. The Kangaroos 12 pts. 2. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan 10 3. Super Destroyers 7 4. Road Warriors 6 5. Sheepherders 6 6. Vachons 6 7. Foreign Force 4 8. Red Pepper 3 9. Jim Duggan & Crusher 2 10. JWA SOUTHEASTERN ASIA TOUR Vietnam August 6, 2119 Danny Hodge def. Mil Mascaras A great opener tonight with a former world heavyweight and world Jr. heavyweight champions. Hodge really dominated the bout, but Mascaras had his offense. Hodge seriously put a hurting on the back of Mascaras, but fought off the high-flying of the Luchador. Hodge came out on top with the Oklahoma Roll. William Muldoon def. Terry Gordy Another great match with a contrast in styles. Gordy pummeled Muldoon the whole match but couldn't put him away. Muldoon whethered the storm on the outside and slowly wore Gordy down. A shoulder throw and Muldoon took an impressive victory. Johnny Valentine def. Steve Williams An extremely hard-hitting contest. Dr. Death crushed Valentine real early with the Oklahoma Stampede. Valentine came back with his atomic skullcrusher. The two just hammered away on each other, but Valentine landed a big forearm smash and got the pin. Fritz Von Goering & Hans Schmidt def. Nick Bockwinkel & Frank Gotch An exciting and wild battle here as Mr. Fuji brings in Hans Schmidt to team with Von Goering, forcing Gotch and Bockwinkel to join forces. Bockwinkel put the figure four on Von Goering right away, and then Gotch cinched in the Toe Hold. Schmidt stormed in and attacked Gotch and sent Bockwinkel to the floor. Gotch was double teamed and then Schmidt hit him with the backbreaker to win the match. Schmidt continued to pound on Gotch while Von Goering held Bockwinkel out of the ring. BLOCK A ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
The Kangaroos def. Red Pepper Red Berry's team remains undefeated in the tournament with an unbelievably fast win. Heffernan leveled Gomez and then came the Boomerang and this match was over. The Mongols def. Jim Duggan & The Crusher These teams battled over the WWC North American tag team titles in Puerto Rico. Bepo and Bolo attacked Hacksaw and double teamed him with the steel chains to score a fast win, their first of the tournament. The Foreign Force def. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan A great match as Fuji and Koloff turned in their best effort so far. Jonathan took a major beating but stayed alive. Baba tried to carry the team but eventually was put down and the bear hug by Koloff ended the match (Jonathan 5 coins, Baba 3 coins). The Super Destroyers def. The Vachons Mad Dog and the Butcher didn't get a lot done in this one. The Destroyer got away and the Masked Superstar locked on the Cobra Hold to put away Butcher Vachon. Road Warriors def. Sheepherders A wild brawl for a lot of the match. The Sheepherders were in control but not doing all that much damage. Hawk and Animal took over and blasted Luke and Butch all around the ring. After the Doomsday Device the save was made, but then a spike piledriver. Hawk finished off Luke with a huge clothesline. BLOCK B ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka def. The Crusaders This was one whale of a match with Lyons and Robertson standing toe to toe with Brody and Snuka. It was a long match and a lot of fighting on the floor. Brody was in bad shape, then it was Robertson getting destroyed. Both teams constantly made tags and kept going all out for the win. Snuka finally beat Robertson with the splash off the top rope. The Sheik & The Turk def. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson This match was out of control from the start. Non-stop brawling all over the arena. Danielson was crushed, but Corino turned the match around. The Sheik took the Old School Expulsion three times in a row. All four went toe to toe. Another brawl resulted in the Sheik beating Danielson with the hammerlock (Sheik 8 coins). Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. def. The Enforcers Another epic match. Zbyszko and Valentine were killed by the headbutts of Bobo Brazil. The Enforcers had Magnum down and Zbyszko smashed him into the exposed turnbuckle. They couldn't finish him off and Brazil got the tag and finished off the Hammer for the win (Magnum 5 coins, Zbyszko 4 coins, Valentine 3 coins). Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo def. Rob Van Dam & Sabu by D.Q. DiPaolo started off fast and had Sabu in the airplane spin. Sabu hit the arabian facebuster and tagged RVD. Van Dam nailed the Van Terminator on Rocca and was disqualified. Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger Inoki and Rikidozan completely dominated this one, never letting Liger in the ring. Inoki got on a roll with multiple finishers on Tiger Mask. Liger tried to break it up but was sent to the floor and Inoki kicked Tiger Mask in the head again for the win. Block A Standings 1. Kangaroos 14 pts. 2. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan 10 3. JWA SOUTHEASTERN ASIA TOUR Thailand August 9, 2119 Terry Gordy def. Mil Mascaras A rematch from show number four of the tour. This was even better than that one. A lot of back and forth action. Gordy proved to be too much for the second time. After really wearing Mascaras down with the Oriental Spike it was a running crossbody out of nowhere that Gordy used to beat the Luchador (Mil 5 coins). Johnny Valentine def. William Muldoon Another rematch from the Indonesia show. Once again Muldoon showed more speed and great counter-wrestling. It was the power and aggressivness of Valentine that carried him to the win after several skullcrushers (Muldoon 4 coins). Frank Gotch, Nick Bockwinkel & Steve Williams def. Iron Sheik, Hans Schmidt & Fritz Von Goering Mr. Fuji's Foreign Force got handled pretty well in this one. Schmidt took a pounding and it was payback for the last show where he put a hurting on Gotch. Both teams got some tags but Gotch, Bockwinkel, and Dr. Death stayed in control. Gotch countered and put Schmidt down for the win. BLOCK B ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. The Crusaders A quick win to remain in first place of Block B for the former world tag team champions. Inoki easily took charge against Lyons. After going for the submission, Rikidozan leveled him with chops. Dewey Robertson was unable to stop the pinfall. The Enforcers def. Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger The cruiserweights struggled the whole match but never stopped fighting. Both Liger and Tiger Mask felt the piledriver and figure four of Zbyszko and Valentine. The Enforcers kept reasserting control and finally beat Liger with a piledriver (Liger/T.Mask 6 coins). The Sheik & The Turk def. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka by D.Q. As expected, a wild brawl between these four. Brody and Snuka really controlled the action in and out of the ring. Anybody could have caused the bell to ring but it was Brody disqualified to end the match. Rob Van Dam & Sabu def. Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. The former ECW contingent dominated this one. Bobo and Magnum did little to slow down the attack. Bobo felt the Five Star Frog Splash and the Triple Jump Moonsault. Magnum tried to make the save but was cut off and Brazil went down. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo def. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson Rocca and DiPaolo were in total control. Danielson couldn't get a tag and took everything big move his opponents have. Corino finally got in but he was immediately beaten with the Argentinian Backbreaker. BLOCK A ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Jim Duggan & The Crusher def. The Foreign Force The wildest and craziest match yet in the tournament. Duggan and the Crusher were complete bloody messes when it was over. Koloff and Fuji just killed both men the entire match. Somehow they couldn't end it though. The Crusher fought on with Duggan slumped in the corner to pull out the win with the Bolo on Fuji. Duggan and the Crusher couldn't do anything though when Hans Schmidt and Fritz Von Goering came into the ring to beat them down even more. The Mongols def. The Road Warriors by D.Q. An unbelievably wild street fight. It was Bepo and Geeto really taking the fight to the LOD. The Road Warriors were nearly overpowered but the two teams just went non-stop trying to hurt each other. In the end it was Hawk, Animal and Paul Ellering getting disqualified. The Sheepherders def. Red Pepper Bastien and Gomez did everything but win the match. They easily dominated the action but couldn't put the match away. Butch pushed Gomez off the top rope and Luke made the cover for the three count. The Vachons def. The Kangaroos by D.Q. A big result in determing the winner of Block A. The Roos were undefeated, but the bell rang due to interference from Heffernan and Red Berry after Costello had been piledrove twice by Mad Dog Vachon. The loss leaves the door open for Baba and Jonathan to take first place in the standings. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan def. Super Destroyers Baba and Jonathan knew a win and they would have a chance in the final round to win Block A. Jonathan took over against Masked Superstar. Baba came in, dropped him with a back suplex, and the Neckbreaker Drop ended the match. Block A Standings 1. Kangaroos 14 pts. 2. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan 12 3. Super Destroyers 9 4. JWA SOUTHEASTERN ASIA TOUR Laos August 11, 2119 Steve Williams def. Johnny Valentine An incredible opener as Dr. Death came out and completely destroyed Valentine. Johnny did very little to slow down the freight train as Williams ran right over him. Valentine is so tough to beat though and he kept kicking out time after time, but he eventually could do it no longer (Valentine 7 coins). Iron Sheik, Hans Schmidt & Fritz Von Goering def. Mil Mascaras, William Muldoon & Danny Hodge The Foreign Force came back to take a win on the final show of round robin tag team matches. Schmidt and Von Goering pounded on Hodge, but Mascaras got things going. Muldoon was setup for the Iron Sheik. The All-Asia champ came in with the Camel Clutch to end the match. 2/3 Falls for No. 1 Contender Position Nick Bockwinkel def. Frank Gotch, 2-1 The first ended out of nowhere. Bockwinkel was showing a slight power advantage and stayed in control on the mat. Gotch found an opening and immediately put the Toe Hold on and Bockwinkel gave it up. Bockwinkel was able to take charge again in the second fall. Gotch was on the defensive and fought off a ton of submission and pinning predicaments. Bockwinkel went to the piledriver and figure four, along with the sleeper to even the match. The final fall was back and forth. Gotch just couldn't maintain control and Bockwinkel took over. The Sleeper finished off Gotch. It will be the Nick Bockwinkel challenging the Iron Sheik for the All-Asia title at JWA Battle Formation. BLOCK B ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
The Sheik & The Turk def. The Crusaders This was an awesome match, no doubt about it. The Crusaders stood toe to toe with the bigger, stronger and wilder men across from them. The Crusaders controlled most of the match. Neither team wanted to go down though. It took a fire ball from the Sheik late in the match on Robertson to bring this one to an end (Robertson 4 coins, Lyons 3 coins, Sheik 3 coins, Turk 5 coins). Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. def. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson This match was even more incredible then the last one. An insane contest as all four wouldn't give up. It was ridiculous how many times all four men survived and kept on going. A headbutt by Bobo put away Corino (too many coins to count, I ran out of pennies) Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger def. Rob Van Dam & Sabu Nothing but top rope moves and dives to the floor. All four just went all out to out-do the other. Liger and Tiger Mask worked together to put away Rob Van Dam. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo def. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka A must-win and Rocca and DiPaolo pulled it off to still have a chance at winning Block B. It was a battle to the end. Brody and Snuka were really on fire but couldn't finish either opponent off. Rocca beat Snuka with the Argentinan Backbreaker. The Enforcers def. Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan A stunning finish and the loss kept Inoki & Rikidozan from winning Block B. Inoki missed off the top early in the match. Rikidozan came in when the Hammer put the figure four on Inoki. Then Zbyszko piledrove Inoki to win the match. That means Rocca and DiPaolo win Block B! BLOCK A ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Red Pepper def. The Mongols by D.Q. This one was short as the Mongols appeared not to care at all about the outcome. Red Bastien got the tag and then blasted with the chain by Bepo and the bell rang. That puts the Mongols in last place in Block A. Road Warriors def. Jim Duggan & The Crusher An epic brawl is what this one was. A very long, hard-fought match. The Legion of Doom dominated, but Duggan and the Crusher are too tough to go down easily. The fight just kept going. The Doomsday Device didn't end it as the Crusher broke it up. After more fighting on the floor Animal powerslammed Duggan for the pin. The Foreign Force def. The Super Destroyers A real quick match. Ivan Koloff overpowered the Destroyer and the bear hug finished him off in no time at all. The Vachons def. The Sheepherders A pretty good back and forth contest. The Vachons took over though and Mad Dog's piledriver and Butcher's Hangman beat Butch Miller. The Kangaroos def. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan The final match of the round robin tournament would decide the winner of Block A. A true classic match, one of the best tag team matches you will ever see. All four turned in one of their greatest performances. Each team had long periods of time in charge, but both also made tags, saves, and Red Berry had a hand in the match here and there. Baba broke up the pin on Jonathan, but the Boomerang then put Jonathan away. Block A Final Standings 1. Kangaroos 16 pts. 2. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan 12 3. Road Warriors 10 4. Super Destroyers 9 5. Vachons 9 6. Sheepherders 8 7. Foreign Force 8 8. Red Pepper 4 9. Jim Duggan & Crusher 4 10. Mongols 3 Block B Final Standings 1. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo 13 2. Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan 12 3. Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger 10 4. Rob Van Dam & Sabu 9 5. Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. 8 6. The Enforcers 8 7. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson 8 8. The Sheik & The Turk 7 9. JWA BATTLE FORMATION Naypyidaw, Burma August 13, 2119 Welcome to the final show on the Southeastern Asia Tour: Battle Formation! Get set for the championship match to determine the first ever All-Asia tag team champions, and the Iron Sheik defends the All-Asia heavyweight title against Nick Bockwinkel. The show will also showcase the tag team division as teams from Block A in the round robin tournament will go up against teams from Block B. The Mongols def. The Crusaders A very tough, back and forth fight. The smaller Crusaders had their chances. Billy Red Lyons and Dewey Robertson used the top rope well and took the fight to Bolo and Geeto. It was a miss that spelled doom for Lyons and Geeto blasted him with a clothesline to grab the pin. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka def. Jim Duggan & The Crusher An absolutely brutal slugfest between these four men. The action was non-stop and Duggan and the Crusher really went at Brody and Snuka. The match just kept going and going, but Brody took out the Crusher's leg and was able to get the three count. The Sheik & The Turk def. Red Pepper Abdullah Farouk turned this match around in favor of his men. His distraction allowed the Sheik to come in and help the Turk. The Sheik completely destroyed Red Bastien, but he wouldn't give up. Pepper Gomez came in but his offense didn't last. The Turk beat Gomez with the Strangulation. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson def. The Foreign Force Another violent contest that saw Ivan Koloff seriously batter both opponents. Mr. Fuji got in on the act, but Corino and Danielson hung in there. Corino made the save and the Old School Expulsion beat Fuji. The Enforcers def. The Sheepherders A real evenly fought matchup. Each team took over at different times. In the end it was Greg Valentine following Larry Zbyszko with another piledriver on Butch Miller. Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. def. The Vachons One more real solid back and forth match. This one ended suddenly when Bobo caught Mad Dog off the top rope with a powerslam and scored the pinfall. The Super Destroyers def. Rob Van Dam & Sabu by D.Q. At first it was all RVD and Sabu as they decimated the Masked Superstar. It was ultra-hardcore and no bell rang. The Destroyer came in with the figure four and Boston Crab on Sabu. Outside Sabu took the chairs to the Destroyer repeatedly and eventually the bell rang. The Road Warriors def. Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger The Japanese cruiserweights struggled mightily in this one. It didn't take long for Animal to level Liger with a flying shoulder ram for the pin. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan def. Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan A main event level match anywhere in the world today, and all four lived up to that billing. This one went long and was dead even, back and forth all the way. Baba landed the Neckbreaker Drop twice to finish off Inoki. IWWF Heavyweight Championship Penny Banner def. Sarah Stock (ch) Penny Banner took the gold away from Stock in a one-sided match. Banner was on a mission in this match to finally capture the world title. She had two title shots this year already, losing both to Madusa Miceli. Banner dominated the entire bout. The Dark Angel fought and fought but couldn't get any kind of offense going while fending off Banner. The end came with a dropkick off the ropes by Banner. Mil Mascaras def. Johnny Valentine The singles competition on the tour was outstanding and those men are still looking at winning on the final show to move up the ladder and a future All-Asia title match. Mil Mascaras was on fire, looking his best in this match. Valentine is so tough to beat though and kept fighting and fighting. It was Valentine missing off the top that allowed Mascaras to get the pin (Valentine 7 coins). Steve Williams def. Terry Gordy by C.O. The feud between these two seems far from over, after starting back in ICW and lasting through two tours in JWA. Dr. Death powerslammed Gordy on the concrete and took this one by countout. Frank Gotch & William Muldoon def. Hans Schmidt & Fritz Von Goering Mr. Fuji added Schmidt and Von Goering to the Foreign Force as the tour went on, and they were thorns in the side of Frank Gotch. He got a measure of revenge as Gotch beat Von Goering with the Toe Hold. However, Schmidt leveled Muldoon after the match and attack Gotch as well. Best 2/3 Falls All-Asia Tag Team Titles The Kangaroos def. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo, 2-0 Non-stop, fast paced action in the first fall. Rocca was everywhere, and had nearfalls on both Kangaroos. DiPaolo didn't fare as well and a second time with the Boomerang put him away. The second fall was just as great. A huge four-way brawl erupted when Rocca save DiPaolo. The pace was furious and the Kangaroos won the titles after a crossbody catapult over the ropes on Rocca. Best 2/3 Falls All-Asia Heavyweight Title Nick Bockwinkel def. The Iron Sheik (ch), 2-0 An awesome first fall as both men showed they are evenly matched on the mat. It was nothing but move-reversal, move-reversal. Bockwinkel did a good job of keeping the Iron Sheik in the ring and staying away from Mr. Fuji. Bockwinkel finally won the first fall with the figure four. Bockwinkel could tell the title was within his grasp and turned up the pressure. Mr. Fuji kept things going, but the Iron Sheik was on borrowed time. The champ battled and fought, but the figure four ended his reign and Nick Bockwinkel takes back the All-Asia title (Iron Sheik 7 coins).

JWA SIEGE OF THE AUTUMN TOURHachioji Civic Hall Tokyo, Japan September 3, 2119 Welcome to the opening show of the JWA's third tour in 2119! Now that the All-Asia singles and tag team championships have been decided, this tour will bring even more great matches you've come to expect as every competitor tries to earn that title shot. Mr. Saito def. Henry Irslinger Saito san was greeted lukewarmly due to the presence of Mr. Fuji in his corner. Irslinger made his in-ring debut with a good showing. He kept Saito off balance and on the mat most of the bout. Irslinger got the applause after kicking out from the Saito Suplex. Later on Saito used his patented move again to get the pin. Gorgeous George def. Fritz Von Goering Gorgeous George debuted in JWA to the delight of the fans. Von Goering did not get a nice reception but Mr. Fuji was not at ringside with him for this bout. Von Goering seemed preoccupied with Cherie Dupree at ringside. George used a rolling hiplock and then the Spinning Toe Hold to score a very quick win. John Pesek def. Ray Stevens The fans seemed happy to see both of these men in a JWA ring. "The Crippler" is much respected in Japan while the Tiger Man John Pesek brings a great reputation with him as well and is a three-time former World TV champion. These two really went to work, matching each other move for move for quite some time. Stevens liked to use the floor a little bit more but Pesek began to take over and maintain his advantage. Stevens was tough to put away but lost after a waistlock slam. Terry Gordy def. Yukon Eric A nice matchup of solid power wrestlers here. Yukon Eric joins the JWA and earlier this year traded the World Television title with John Pesek. Bam Bam Terry Gory is back for another JWA tour. Last time he focused on his rivalry with Dr. Death Steve Williams. Gordy exploded with offense, going for the pin every time but Yukon Eric kicked out after a back suplex, lariat, Oriental Spike and Piledriver! Gordy continued to pummel Eric but the woodsman somehow fought back and made this a tremendous match. Gordy took a lot of damage but then he came back and downed Eric with the Oriental Spike (Yukon Eric 5 coins, Gordy 3 coins). INTERMISSION As is custom, at intermission the fans file out to the gimmick tables. They get to buy souvenirs and memorabilia, meet wrestlers and get pictures taken. And eat! The Road Warriors def. The Super Destroyers by D.Q. On the last tour, the Road Warriors scored 10 points but finished third in their block of the tag team round robin title tournament. They did defeat the team of the Destroyer & Masked Superstar, with the Super Destroyers scoring nine points. Now both units are after an All-Asia tag team title match. These teams turned in a real good back and forth match. Neither side could get setup to go for a pin and it was the Super Destroyers double teaming Hawk on the outside that caused the bell to ring. Johnnny Valentine def. William Muldoon An important singles contest between two men ranked in the top five. Valentine lured Muldoon into the corner where he moved, sending the Solid Man to the floor. Valentine thrives in that environment then came back in with two Atomic Skullcrushers for a fast win. Johnny Valentine decided to put the boots to Muldoon some more before leaving the ring. The Iron Sheik def. Dr. Death Steve Williams A huge win for Mr. Fuji and his protegee the Iron Sheik. A pair of highly-ranked All-Asia contenders, the Iron Sheik continuously worked on the back of Dr. Death. The two fought a great match back and forth but the damage was done and when the Camel Clutch was applied Williams gave it up. Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki def. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan Both of these teams scored 12 points and finished second in their respective block of the tag team round robin tournament last tour. Inoki and Rikidozan enjoyed an active and four-month reign as World tag team champions earlier this year. Giant Baba has held those belts with Rikidozan while Don Leo Jonatha is also a former world tag team champion, teaming with Johnny Valentine two years ago. A spectacular tag team match. Baba took a beating but then gave it back to Rikidozan. Nothing but and back forth fighting until Inoki held Jonathan in the Octopus and then put the giant down with an enzuigiri. Best 2/3 Falls All-Asia Tag Team Championship The Kangaroos (ch) def. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo, 2-0 The Kangaroos scored 16 points in Block A, only losing to Mad Dog and Butcher Vachon. Rocca and DiPaolo won Block B with 13 points but lost in the championship match to end the previous tour. A real good first fall, lots of tags between the teams. The Roos made the most of a chance and Heffernan tagged for the Boomerang to beat Rocca and take the first fall of the match. The fans couldn't believe what happened in the second fall. The Roos put DiPaolo in trouble and after the Marble Bor Leglock by Costello, landed the Boomerang on him. Rocca broke up the pin and then a long double team attack ensued and the challengers were disqualified in the second fall. Best 2/3 Falls All-Asia Heavyweight Championship Nick Bockwinkel (ch) def. Frank Gotch, 2-0 At JWA Battle Formation, Nick Bockwinkel ended the tour by regaining his All-Asia heavyweight title from the Iron Sheik. He starts off the Siege of the Autumn tour with a title defense against Frank Gotch. Awesome mat and counter wrestling in the first fall. Very evenly fought. Bockwinkel turned the tide with an abdominal stretch. Gotch battled out of the sleeper but the Figure Four leglock gave Bockwinkel the submission. Gotch couldn't fight back in the second fall. He was down and Bockwinkel pounced. He put the Figure Four on again and won the match to retain the All-Asia heavyweight title.

JWA SIEGE OF THE AUTUMN TOURGifu Industrial Hall Gifu, Japan Sept. 5, 2119 Henry Irslinger def. Dick Hutton Henry Irslinger had a good showing last week against Mr. Saito, and came out fast against Dick Hutton this week. Irslinger dominated the action, taking charge on the mat and Hutton struggled to find any offense at all. The match still took some time but another flying headlock and Irslinger had his first win. John Pesek def. Fritz Von Goering A display of brilliant technical wrestling. Von Goering never had a chance as Pesek rolled him around the mat until winning with a double wristlock. The Enforcers def. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo Another tough loss for the former No. 1 contenders to the All-Asia tag team championship. First it was DiPaolo worked over by Greg Valentine and Larry Zbyszko. Rocca got the tag but did nothing but go down hard. The Hammer locked in the figure four for the submission. Gorgeous George def. Mr. Saito by D.Q. An interesting match on paper but in the ring Gorgeous George showed his stuff. Saito never got anything going at all and finally got disqualified after escaping the spinning toe hold. Mr. Fuji then joined in for a double team on George. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan def. The Valiants by D.Q. Baba and Jonathan were all over the Valiants. It took awhile but Jimmy and Johnny got things turned around. Baba kicked out of the super elbow drop by the Valiants used a foreign object and double teams that got them disqualified. Buddy Rogers def. Ray Stevens by D.Q. The Nature Boy debuts in Japan after falling in a Loser Leaves North America match at SummerSlam to Harley Race. This one started out nice but turned ugly. It degenerated into a fight and it was the Crippler getting disqualified. The Foreign Force def. Steve Williams & Yukon Eric The bell hadn't even rang but Ivan Koloff went to work on Yukon Eric. The Russian Bearhug ended the match in record time. The Iron Sheik def. William Muldoon The Iron Sheik picked up a hard-fought win as he tries to get back to a rematch for the All-Asia title with Nick Bockwinkel. A long, grind it out kind of match. Finally the Camel Clutch ended the night for Muldoon (Muldoon 5 coins). Frank Gotch def. Johnny Valentine An excellent, hard-hitting matchup. Valentine dominated for a long time but Gotch came back. The two wore each other down but Gotch scored the win with a surprise pinning combination off the ropes. The Road Warriors def. Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan A meeting between legends of epic proportions. The Legion of Doom asserted themselves, easily overpowering the Japanese duo. Rikidozan was beaten from pillar to post and the Doomsday Device ended the match. Afterwards the Masked Superstar and the Destroyer raced out to brawl with Hawk and Animal.

JWA SIEGE OF THE AUTUMN TOURPyongyang, North Korea Sept. 7, 2119 Antonino Rocca def. Jushin Thunder Liger A very exciting, hard-hitting, back and forth match to open the show. The referee was leveled by a top rope move and out of the action for some time, but Liger and Rocca just kept going at it until he got back on his feet. Rocca won with the Argentinian Backbreaker, but after the match Sabu ran down to attack Liger. Masked Superstar II def. Yukon Eric A great power matchup as these two big men pounded away on each other. The bout was real close but Masked Superstar II used a huge top rope move and the Backbreaker for the win. Terry Gordy def. William Muldoon A real easy one for Bam Bam. Muldoon couldn't contend with Gordy's power advantage. Muldoon still hung tough through back suplexes but too many times with the Oriental Spike finished him off. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan def. The Valiants A d.q. on the last show meant this one would be intense. Johnny Valiant was nearly killed by Baba and Jonathan. Twice Jimmy made the save and somehow Johnny was able to make a tag. The Valiants couldn't carry the momentum though and Baba pinned a fatigued Johnny a little later (Johnny Valiant 5 coins). The Kangaroos & Red Berry def. The Wild Samoans Afa Jr., Samu and Alofa debut in JWA against the All-Asia tag team champions and their manager. Berry struggled against the much bigger Samoans but still turned them over to his tag champs in trouble. Costello's Greek Cross beat Samu. Danny Hodge made a surprise run-in and got a few shots on Berry before escaping. Buddy Rogers & Mr. Saito def. Ray Stevens & Gorgeous George These four had D.Q. results in respective singles matches on the last card. Rogers and Saito were in control the entire way this time around. Stevens and George made tags but didn't get much offense in. Rogers beat Stevens with the figure four. Tiger Mask def. Sabu A feud started only recently between these two along with Delirious -- the NWA World Jr. champ -- and Jushin Liger in Mexico. Tiger Mask really rolled in this one and back to back Tiger Suplexes put Sabu down for good. Another cruiserweight hit the ring afterwards and it was Delirious attacking Tiger Mask. The Road Warriors def. The Super Destroyers These four have turned things up a notch on this JWA tour. Hawk and Animal ran roughshod over the Destroyer and the Masked Superstar. The Destroyer was blasted with the Doomsday Device but Masked Superstar made the save. The Destroyer was beaten and battered on the floor but Animal won the match after press slamming Masked Superstar. Steve Williams def. Johnny Valentine A helluva slobberknocker! These two really went at it in and out of the ring. Doc landed the Oklahoma Stampede and Valentine used the atomic skullcrusher. They wernt toe to toe but Dr. Death scored the win with a massive lariat. Nick Bockwinkel & Dick Hutton def. Frank Gotch & John Pesek This was an awesome wrestler's wrestler tag team match. Tons of near falls and tags. Back and forth they went but All-Asia champ Bockwinkel and Hutton were on top most of the way. Gotch took a huge beating and stayed alive. It was Pesek losing to the Cowboy backbreaker of Hutton (Pesek 3 coins, Gotch 5 coins).

JWA SIEGE OF THE AUTUMN TOURSeoul, South Korea Sept. 10, 2119 Sabu def. Jushin Thunder Liger A match with a blistering pace to it. Sabu was all offense while Liger tried to hang on. Liger kicked out of a beautiful (+5) Triple Jump Moonsault. The match kept going and going but Liger finally lost after a hurracanrana (Liger 5 coins). The Road Warriors def. The Valiant Brothers Hawk and Animal were on fire in this one and Jimmy Valiant paid the price. He fought "valiantly" but the Legion of Doom were never in danger of losing. Johnny Valiant fought to keep the match going but the Doomsday Device mercifully ended the match (Jimmy Valiant 7 coins). John Pesek def. Dick Hutton Another match where a guy showed guts and determination. Dick Hutton had his moments but Pesek fought him off and tried to break off every limb on his body. Hutton never quit but passed out (Hutton 6 coins). The Super Destroyers def. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo These teams gave it their all as JWA rankings are very important as is getting a spot in the upcoming Crockett Cup Tag Team Tournament. Just a non-stop back and forth contest with plenty of finishers, nearfalls and saves. The Destroyer came off the top to beat DiPaolo (Destroyer 3 coins, M.S. 2 coins, Ilio 4 coins, Rocca 3 coins). Danny Hodge def. "Wild" Red Berry For some reason Hodge jumped Berry on the last show to set up this match. It was a pretty good one, with Berry hanging right with the former World Jr. champion. It was fast paced but Hodge maintained the advantage for longer periods of time and won with the Oklahoma Side Roll. The Enforcers def. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan A big-time win for Greg Valentine and Larry Zbyszko, one that saw them lay waste to the Giant Baba. The Japanese legend never made a tag and endured the figure four and the piledriver. Jonathan made saves but it only delayed the end as the Hammer locked in the figure four for the submission (Baba 7 coins). Steve Williams def. Terry Gordy An old rivalry renewed again and these two are always very evenly matched. Things deteriorated when both took the fight to the outside. The big men slugged it out but Dr. Death put his former tag team partner down with the Oklahoma Stampede. The Doctor was attacked after the match by the Destroyer and the Masked Superstar, causing Hawk and Animal to rush to his aid. NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Championship Delirious (ch) def. Tiger Mask An impressive outing for the champ. This match was all Delirious. Tiger Mask is great and battled to the end but Delirious an almost constant advantage. The Praying Mantis Bomb finally put Tiger Mask down for the count (Tiger Mask 6 coins). The Iron Sheik def. Frank Gotch Another really big win for Mr. Fuji's main man in the Foreign Force. This really was a great wrestling match, with some out of the ring brawling thrown in. Gotch withstood the Camel Clutch for a long time but a piledriver laid him out for the three count (Gotch 5 coins). Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. The Foreign Force by D.Q. Inoki and Dozan were in total control, keeping Ivan Koloff from making a tag to Mr. Fuji. Koloff was barely holding on and Fuji broke up one pin, then immediately had to come in again and he threw powder in the face of Rikidozan to cause the disqualification.

JWA SIEGE OF THE AUTUMN TOURTaipei, Taiwan Sept. 12, 2119 Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan def. The New Masked Superstars by D.Q. A very interesting matchup of very big men. It was a slow and methodical contest as both teams laid in the heavy lumber on each other. The match was going along for sometime and pretty even but the Masked Superstar II soon got frustrated and double teams caused the bell to ring. Yukon Eric def. Fritz Von Goering by D.Q. This one didn't last long. Yukon Eric was attacked on the floor by Mr. Fuji and Von Goering jumped in as well causing the bell to ring. John Pesek def. Mr. Saito Once again Mr. Fuji was involved with one of his men. Pesek totally dominated the bout. Saito barely got anything going his way but did apply the scorpion deathlock. Mr. Fuji interferred to save Saito but Pesek won with the double wristlock. Pesek was then jumped by Fritz Von Goering and triple-team beat down ensued. Yukon Eric rushed out to help Pesek. Gorgeous George def. Buddy Rogers A big-time upset as Rogers had most of the offense but didn't collect the win. George fought hard and Cherie Dupree intervened to stop a count. Rogers continued his work but George turned the match around. He used the spinnign toe hold and a number of pinning combinations to grab the win over the Nature Boy. Tiger Mask & Jushin Thunder Liger def. The Enforcers These teams met during the round robin tag team title tournament with the Enforcers picking up the win. This was a quick match with Liger tagging in Tiger Mask who used a rolling senton splash to beat Larry Zbyszko. Ray Stevens def. Johnny Valentine This match turned hardcore in a hurry as each man did good work on the outside of the ring. These two really went at it tooth and nail. It was Stevens hitting the Bombs Away fro the pin, but the brawl continued after the match. Rikidozan def. Mr. Fuji by D.Q. The Devious One handled his own business against Rikidozan. He had the match going in his favor with a Banzai Drop, Kamikaze clothesline and then the use of the salt. He went back to use the bucket on Rikidozan and was disqualified. Antonio Inoki def. Ivan Koloff Another of Mr. Fuji's men and the Russian Bear maintained the advantage most of the match. Inoki still came back to win with the Octopus Hold. Again the Foreign Force came into the ring but were followed by Rikidozan, John Pesek and Yukon Eric. Elimination Match The Super Destroyers & Terry Gordy def. The Road Warriors & Steve Williams An epic first fall of the elimination match. All six men were battered and beaten but well over 20 minutes of action went by before an elimination. Doc and Gordy hammered away on each other but Gordy scored the pin after a Piledriver. The Legion of Doom couldn't get any momentum going their way. After more figthing on the floor the Masked Superstar eliminated Animal with the Spinning Neckbreaker. Gordy came in and went to work on Hawk. The powerbomb and the Oriental Spike put him away for the win. Best 2/3 Falls All-Asia Heavyweight Championship Nick Bockwinkel (ch) def. The Iron Sheik, 2-1 The Iron Sheik is trying to win back the All-Asia title and Mr. Fuji is trying to make that happen. The first fall was dead even but Fuji tripped Bockwinkel coming off the ropes and the Iron Sheik used that advantage to grab a three count. The second fall picked up right back up with both men going back and forth with every move they can think of. After both hit the canvas Bockwinkel got the Figure Four applied and evened the match at one fall apiece. An awesome final fall wrapped up the title match. Mr. Fuji saved the Iron Sheik from defeat but was finally ejected from ringside after causing mayhem all night long. Bockwinkel was all over the Iron Sheik with the sleeper and the figure four, yet the challenger nearly stole victory with a rollup off the ropes. Bockwinkel finally pinned the Iron Sheik after a back suplex. Mr. Fuji tried to come back after the match along with the Foreign Force but they were met by security and held at bay. (Iron Sheik 5 coins, Bockwinkel 3 coins).

JWA SIEGE OF THE AUTUMN TOURFukushima Sport Arena Soma Fukushima, Japan Sept. 14, 2119 Johnny Valentine & Dick Hutton def. William Muldoon & Henry Irslinger Not a bad little matchup to start the show. Valentine was slow to get on the offensive, but then his team took control. Irslinger was in the ring a long time and was eventually beaten with an Abdominal Stretch by Hutton. The Iron Sheik & Fritz Von Goering def. Yukon Eric & Gorgeous George by C.O. Mr. Fuji's men destroyed the big lumberjack. Gorgeous George never made it into the ring. Eric was assailed by Von Goering and the Iron Sheik, but his toughness enabled him to stay alive. He was double teamed on the outside and counted out of the ring. Giant Baba def. Masked Superstar II This was a great battle of the giants. Baba really took a big-time beating from the Masked Superstar II. The Japanese legend found the reserves to come back. It took consecutive Neckbreaker Drops by Baba to send Masked Superstar II down for the pin. Terry Gordy def. Frank Gotch A great and quick match here as Gotch started out really frustrating Gordy with his speed and mat technique. Gordy powered his way to the win on the floor and then piledriver put Gotch down. Dr. Death Steve Williams raced out to start another donneybrook with his former tag team partner. Tag Team Gauntlet Match The Enforcers def. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo, The Valiant Brothers, The Sons of Samoa, The Super Destroyers The first fall took its toll on all four men. A tremendous battle waged between the Destroyer & the Masked Superstar and the Sons of Samoa. This match alone could be one of the best of the year in the JWA. The Samoans scored the huge win when Samu saved Afa Jr. by leveling the Destroyer, allowing Afa Jr. to get the three count. (each man 2 coins apiece) The Samoans were spent as Afa Jr. took on Antonino Rocca in the next fall. These two traded moves but Rocca caught Afa Jr. with a victory roll and got a quick pin. The Valiant Brothers hit the ring and were in a load of trouble for a long time. But this fall was very long as well as the Valiants looked good and each team nearly won on many occasions. Johnny V was dumped out after breaking up a pin but Jimmy Valiant couldn't take anymore and went down right after (Rocca 6 coins, Jimmy Valiant 4 coins). Another match of the year candidate! Rocca was hit with a piledriver and the figure four by Larry Zbyszko and Greg Valentine, but DiPaolo made the save. DiPaolo put the airplane spin on twice but Zbyszko made the save. Zbyszko finished off DiPaolo with the piledriver (Rocca 8 coins, DiPaolo 3 coins). NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Championship Delirious (ch) def. Red Bastien Red Bastien very nearly came out the new title holder in this one. He went move for move and enjoyed plenty of time on top in this one but never did get his Atomic Drop. Delirious had to work hard to come away the winner and a second Bizzaro Driver is what ended it. Delirious makes his fourth title defense in the last six weeks as champ. The Foreign Force def. Antonio Inoki, Rikidozan & John Pesek A great six-man tag as Mr. Fuji's Foreign Force picks up a big win. Rikidozan avoided defeat early then it was Mr. Fuji in all kinds of trouble. A save was made and he got the tag. Mr. Saito back suplexed Rikidozan and Ivan Koloff finished him off with the Russian Bearhug. Jr. Hvywt. Gauntlet Match Tiger Mask def. Sabu, Danny Hodge, Jushin Liger, Red Berry A classic matchup of a mat-wrestling light-heavyweight and a great high-flying cruiserweight. Jushin Thunder Liger really maintained control over Wild Red Berry. Liger used the Brainbuster to get the pin. Danny Hodge came out next and showed amazing ability in keeping Liger in check out and totally out-wrestling the masked legend. Liger had little go his way and missed everytime he came off the top. Hodge never let up and eventually beat Liger with the Oklahoma Side Roll (Liger 4 coins). Tiger Mask entered next and this was an incredible battle of wills. Each man missed a lot of moves in the corner and off the top rope, but both battled back after high-impact moves by the opponent. Tiger Mask managed the win after a piledriver (Hodge 6 coins, Tiger Mask 4 coins). A beaten and fatigued Tiger Mask won in no time at all. A Space Flying Drop and the Tiger Suplex pinned Sabu. The mad-man attacked Tiger Mask after the match, using the arabian facebuster and the triple jump moonsault to leave the masked legend lying in the ring. (Tiger Mask 5 coins). Buddy Rogers def. Ray Stevens A rematch from Sept. 5 in Gifu where Stevens was disqualified. It was all the Nature Boy this time around as he picks up a solid victory. Rogers hammered the Crippler and put him down with a big knee smash. Best 2/3 Falls All-Asia Tag Team Championship The Road Warriors def. The Kangaroos (ch), 2-1 Whenever either of these teams have held the World tag team championship, they had to face the other duo. The Legion of Doom took those gold belts from the Kangaroos at Clash of the Champions, Aug. 1, 2118, and beat them again in a Ladder Match at SummerSlam. A fast start to the match as almost immediately Wild Red Berry interferred and the Roos took over against Animal. A double team slingshot and then the Boomerang brought Hawk in for the save. Roy Heffernan went for another pin after a top rope move but Animal got the shoulder up. Heffernan went back up again and forced Hawk to make another save. Al Costello applied the Marble Bor Leglock and Animal tapped out. Animal held on to make the tag in the second fall and the Legion of Doom exploded with offense. Hawk and Animal battered Costello and Hawk evened the match after a vertical suplex. The Road Warriors could not be stopped after that. Heffernan tried to save the match but he was hurled to the concrete floor. Costello was up up for the Doomsday Device and the Precious Paul Ellering wrapped the All-Asia tag team title belts around the waists of Hawk and Animal!
