All I and we can do is make it known how we feel. Chad Olson said it's a good idea to have LOW online/cardstock come out at the same time. Dustin (and anyone else interested), I want to offer some follow up. The "team" that creates LOW stats (Tim Dalton, my brother Cory & myself) along with Stu Lowry writing the books has no input on LOW Online, other than modifying the stats. If you want to share your opinion/feelings about the set release schedule, I would definitely send Tom and Kris Osk an email. I don't know when Tom changed/modified the permission slips to include online, so I can't say at a certain point, all sets would be eligible straight conversion to LOW Online. Also, keep in mind, some guys have been signed for quite awhile, but don't appear in a LOW set until years after they signed. I think that's the problem with converting, say every set from Legends Partners forward to online.

I like to play Legends in order of what game edition they appear. I admit, with work, marriage, kids, online would be welcome because I could probably sim a bunch of cards.
But these two things would make me buy online
1) Just release whatever they have and release the online version at the same time as the cards. If I have to buy a few CAC, I could handle it
2) Make it compatible for an iPhone. This is where a sim could come in handy. Our daughter does ballet and has practice on Saturday mornings, but parents aren't allowed in (to keep distractions down). I could easily be outside doing a few sim cards.
I'm on Year 7 of Early Classics and once I catch up in GWF years, I'll sim nearly all of it to play catch up.
Just my two cents

Okay. I've decided what I'm going to do; it will take some labor on my own behalf, but I think it'll ultimately be for the best interest of my sanity and game play, and I'll still be supporting FG. I'm done with LEGENDSonline for now. I'm going to scan all my official cards and put the official card art into Desktop with the official stats; bootlegs to come later. Simple. I'm going to have to buy some older sets I sold unless some of you have the card art scanned already (Hardcore, Vintage, Fever, International, S/LE -- I'll be Ten/Trios to support FG). Hey, I've given enough money to FG. I could at least be "reimbursed" for LEGENDSonline ($68). --->

Dustin,
You do realize that in the course of 24 hours you've gone from supporting the product to wanting a refund and not playing and no one has responded in any way to influence that decision. If it were me I would give Tom Filsinger and company a little time to respond and see what they offer with the next edition of the online game before coming to that rash of a conclusion.
Of course, it's up to you promoter!
Please read the above in the light-hearted manner in which it was written.

I still plan to get the Online set in April (if we maybe get some spoilers to see who'll be in), but I'm also going to setup Desktop to always have. I will buy future card sets and add them to Desktop. What if I want to play and the server is down? I get worked up, I suppose.

I wanted to let you all know that I summarized some of the comments/concerns/suggestions you've voiced about LOW Online and shared them with Tom. I think he took the info to heart, so hopefully we'll see some changes down the road.
I really encourage any of you to share your comments and thoughts about LOW or COTG with Tom in an email. He might not respond right away, but I truly think he reads them all and considers what people are saying.

Tom has always listened to what I have to say, but I'm not a "my way or the highway" fan as some are/were, especially during the color cards debate this summer. It's great LOW Online users will be getting the card art, rather than the pictures. Also, Osk replied on the official board as well. Thanks, Chad. I hope I wasn't too negative. I'm just pretty passionate about this game, but I lack Mark's patience. All in all, LOW Online seems like changes are coming.
