The Post Americans made it two come from behind wins in a row with three in the bottom of the nint to take game two 6-5 and a two games to none lead in the series.
Early Wynn went eight innings in his first start of the tournament. Herb Pennock blew the save. George Kell and Al Kaline singled, then Ted Williams just missed a game-winning home run, but drove in the tying runs with a triple. After an intentional walk to Mickey Mantle, Reggie Jackson hit a shot to third. Jackie Robinson booted it and the Post Americans won the game.

The Left Outers stayed alive with a 9-8 win in game four. Ralph Kiner, Jimmie Foxx and Frank Robinson hit home runs. Don Sutton pitched three innings of relief for the win with Bob Lemon getting the save.
In game five the Post Americans scored five runs in two innings off Steve Carlton, knocking him from the game. Nolan Ryan went 7 2/3 innings for the win, allowing three earned runs on eight hits with four walks and 12 strikeouts.
George Kell, Rod Carew, Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle and Phil Rizzuto all had three hits for the Post Americans. Jackie Robinson hit two home runs for the Left Outers.

John Ward's two-run homer off Addie Joss gave the Old Timers the lead.

The Centurians hammered Al Spalding for eight runs in the first two innings and that was enough to win game two 8-5 and even the series at one game apiece.
Rube Waddell went eight innings for the win. Tommy McCarthy homered and had three hits for the Old Timers.

Candy Cummings and John Clarkson threw five innings of shutout relief. Ed Delahanty led off the bottom of the ninth with a double, and Sam Thompson's base hit drove him in to win the game.

Addie Joss only gave up four hits in the loss.

Willie Wells singled home the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th as Kansas City topped the Dead Ballers 2-1.
In the last of the 10th, Wild Bill Wright singled with one out, stole second and went to third on the bad throw by Ray Schalk. Buck Leonard walked and Wells singled to win the game.
Jud Wilson came off the bench to drive in the tying run for the Monarchs in the bottom of the seventh.
The Dead Ballers left 14 men on base. Ty Cobb, Joe Jackson and Tris Speaker combined to go 0 for 15. George Sisler, Frank Baker and Joe Tinker all had three hits.

George Sisler, Joe Jackson and Eddie Collins had triples for the Dead Ballers.

Ted Trent relieved Satchel Paige with a 4-2 lead in the seventh. He didn't get an out, allowing three runs. The Dead Ballers scored seven unearned runs off Ray Brown in the eighth.

The Monarchs kept hanging in there and pulled out a 4-3 win in the bottom of the ninth to force a final game seven against the Dead Ballers.
A walk, single and sac fly in the bottom of the seventh tied the game 3-3 for Kansas City. Eddie Plank came on in the ninth for Walter Johnson and gave up the winning win. Ray Dandridge singled and Neil Robinson doubled off the bench. A ground out and line out with the infield in was followed by a single from Buck Leonard to win the game.
