The way they operate, I don't think it's possible for them to produce a really hot angle. Honestly, if I had to choose between RoH and TNA television I would pick TNA because the Roode/Storm stuff is far superior to anything RoH is doing angle wise.

King, Sinclair broadcasting owning the company means they virtually cannot lose the tv deal short of folding up and going out of business. The way they operate, I don't think it's possible for them to produce a really hot angle. Honestly, if I had to choose between RoH and TNA television I would pick TNA because the Roode/Storm stuff is far superior to anything RoH is doing angle wise. I think with one or two more good moves the Steen storyline could really start a turnaround. If they subtly make Cornette the heel, or at least the establishment stooge, and turn Steen into an anti-hero figure it could be money. Especially with Corino and Jacobs as pandering heels to counter him.

Who is Steen going to play off of though? Richards? Strong? Edwards? That's the problem they have. Steen might get a little hot but then he has to play off of the vacuums on the rest of the roster.

Great so they have no incentive to improve the product. They can produce the same crap and it has no effect on whether they still are on TV. Well I guess ROH is what it is. I've been watching it since it came back on TV, but not sure how much more I can take. It seems like my thinking is "it will get better and if it does I don't want to miss it" but maybe I should face the facts that it won't ever get better.

Actually, they might be toast pretty quick. They've started running shows in the markets they're running the tv shows and the ticket sales are terrible. They need to draw 700 to a show to break even with the new expenses and they drew 300 in one of their markets and word is, sales for the upcoming slate of shows is just as bad.

I am sure a lot of it is due to like many others have said is that they have seen these matches several times already, why pay for it again? And if casual fans don't find it interesting on TV for free, why would they shell out their money to pay to see it?

People watching for free and people paying and going to the show are different. I think it's shown a failure on their part to draw that kind of interest in the product.

And they're running the fucking Norfolk Scope in January. Whose call was that? Seriously.

Someone thinks they can run the old Mid-Atlantic region successfully.

I don't get what they're doing. They should be pulling back and running their strongholds and proven drawing towns not expanding and trying a bunch of unproven areas all at once.

Trailer for tonight's episode. Looking forward to that main event since it should be similar to what they did in PWG a few weeks back.

Tonight's episode, or the Saturday 4AM AND 11PM episode in this market. It was a mixed bag. I have no strong opinion one way or the other about the matches. The Steen/Cornette/Corino and Jacobs thing went way long and got lost at some point in the middle before they managed to end it fairly strong. Far more talking and building towards Final Battle, including a "so silly it was fun" segment with Roderick Strong that came off like something from 80s World Class.

Did they announce an opponent for Roderick Strong's open challenge at Final Battle?
