I don't follow the fed, so...any thoughts? Has there been a substantial line-up shift since the set came out? Any big names we are clearly missing that might be an SE card down the line?
Speaking of SE cards... I wouldn't mind a "blast from the past" 4-pack with cards for Chris Hero, Gran Akuma as a member of FIST, and maybe the Young Bucks.

The only new guy so far is Mr. Touchdown and he hasn't had a match yet (the first show isn't until 1/28). I think Akuma will get a card, but it won't be as a member of F.I.S.T. since he's back and now feuding with them.

I wouldn't hold out for Chris Hero to be in a Chikara set of any sort. He's apparently not on good terms with Chikara at this point. The next new Chris Hero card you see from Filsinger Games will either be part of the Legends Of Wrestling or a ROH set, if there were ever to be such an edition.
There are plenty of Chikara regulars who have yet to get a card: Gregory Iron, Jakob Hammermier, Scott Parker and Shane Matthews (3.0), and Grizzly Redwood just to name a few. It would also be prudent to release a new version of Sara Del Rey at some point. Then there's the aforementioned new guy Mr. Touchdown, and any number of frequent Chikara "guest stars" who could get cards.
Also, I think it'd be appropriate for Gavin Loudspeaker to have a card, and then that may as well open up the door for a set of non-wrestler cards with Remsburg, maybe Leonard Chikarason, among others.

I expect that with the new trend of minipacks (now that Tom has realized people will pay extra for just about anything) and singles wrestlers, that people will trickle....big names will come out as individual cards while more minor names will be in 4 and 5 packs for the most part. I expect 3.0, Iron and Jacob to probably be in the next set with a classic wrestler, and then later on for Grizzly, Akuma, Mr. Touchdown and a couple more classics in the next.

I figured the next set could have Grizzly, Iron, Jacob and 3.0 and finish off the regulars on the roster.

(now that Tom has realized people will pay extra for just about anything) . I don't get this. I can't see how offering more frequent, smaller releases is "realizing people will pay extra". You're not paying extra; you're just getting more timely, smaller releases. The only major thing is you don't have to wait a year at a time to add cards to the roster, thus keeping the product more fresh and alive than the standard "10-12 at a time, one time a year" release schedule. Less the shipping, it's no different to buy three 4-card releases than it is to wait a year and buy 12 at once. Maybe that's not what you mean, but I don't see how the current release schedule is some sort of bamboozle or anything.

I think the smaller releases work better for Chikara. It keeps the fed more up to date. We currently have most of the active roster and you couldn't get that with yearly releases. I prefer the small influxes of talent on a regular basis.

I agree about the smaller releases. I'd like to see all of the wrestlers mentioned released as Chikara cards. A few others I'd like to see The Super Smash Brothers, Vin Gerad, Lince Dorado, Steve The Turtle, and The Soul Touchaz. Another possibilty could be different cards for Create A Wrestler(fans voted annually on a new gimmick) who I think is now Dasher Hatfield. Communist Bovine and Ultimo Breakfast were two of them

Even though Quackenbush worked with FG on the original roster, he didn't know that Claudio would get signed by WWE, etc. The Rudos pack was cool because it balanced the heel/face makeup of the fed since the BDK made up the bulk of the Rudos side (even though they weren't listed as Rudos). Slightly off-topic: how would people feel about "booster packs" for COTG products? I'm thinking that there would still be a "regular" set with a booklet, but having 4-packs or 6-packs of cards like Chikara could be released in between. Sort of like the Guardian release, but with more "essential" storytelling and regular characters.

I fully support the booster pack idea. One of my favorite parts of the GWFZ was that Swarm would do a mid-year release with more talent. I would rather have 3-4 releases of 4-5 cards throughout the year instead of a single release of 10-12 cards. I just like having a constant influx of talent. The GWF can get brutal in the August/September months when you're just dying for some new talent and have 3-4 months to go before you get any.

I'd personally love to see a Chikara animal pack with CP Munk, Colt CaBunny, U.S. Ape, Moscow and Dragon Dragon.

(now that Tom has realized people will pay extra for just about anything) You don't even pay for your own sets.

This is definitely not a "new idea".... done with Chikara, Guardian, Dark Tides, and the idea dates at least as far back as Hanuman (and 1 GWF and maybe 1 aCe character, but I forget which ones). I'm not trying to claim ownership of the idea, just wondering what people think about it. In addition to the Dark Tides set released under this format, Kris did the Free Agents 4-pack with less storytelling. To sum up, I wanted to know how people felt about the format. This idea is definitely not "new."
