I'd just give Elgin the damn title.

They're going to have Steen go for like a year with the belt and I think most of his defenses are just going to be filler. They really haven't taken advantage of his momentum.

Having him go a year is a very bad idea, IMO.

Nine matches confirmed, this is likely the final card. Kinda wanna drop the $15 but something tells me I'd be better off saving it or using the $15 to buy the replay of del Sol vs. Generico III.

"As we announced yesterday, Matt Hardy will be in the house THIS Saturday night at “Death Before Dishonor X” in Chicago Ridge, IL for a special pre-show autograph signing. Last night we found out ROH officials received an e-mail from Hardy and we here at ROHWrestling.com were able to confirm the content of said e-mail early this morning. The jist of what we were told is that Matt Hardy has expressed a vested interest in a very specific match taking place this Saturday and will do color commentary on that contest live on the iPPV broadcast! We aren't sure which match it is that Matt Hardy will join Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness at the commentary table, your guess is as good as ours, so make sure you join us live on the iPPV broadcast to find out when we do. Click here to order the live broadcast of “Death Before Dishonor X”, or if you can be there in-person in Chicago Ridge click here!"

I take it no one at Sinclair saw his TNA run.

I take it no one at Sinclair saw his TNA run. Probably not. Honestly, the idea of Matt Hardy potentially headlining Final Battle makes me sick.

Fucking iPPV feed was out for the first hour and a half and they've shown highlights and finish of the Edwards/Rhino match from Sinclair TV a few weeks back THREE TIMES now. Ridiculous. Maddog, I may be coming to join you in hater land soon.
Only thing that could've saved this is if Veda Scott would've listened to Truth Martini and took her pants off.

They have released a statement and proposed resolution. pwinsider.com/article/71989/roh-issues-apology-and-statement-on-ippv-issues-over-the-weekend.html?p=1Essentially they'll honor refunds through tomorrow evening, OR send the DVD of the event to everyone who ordered the iPPV within a half hour after it started (in addition to access to the full show online whenever they are able to get it up in entirety). Now I have to decide between seeing the entire show and getting the free DVD, or getting my money back. EDIT: I read it wrong; they are giving people until noon eastern tomorrow to ask for a refund. That makes it pretty much 24 hours to have (hopefully) seen the email to ringside members and respond. They have made no mention of this on the website, twitter, or facebook. As noted above, one or two websites so far have seen that and reported, but nothing from official ROH web presence. To me, and you know I've tried to be positive on the company, it seems like they're trying to fly under the radar and hope a lot of people don't see the email and take them up on the offer for a refund. I have decided to ask for a refund; I don't even want to see the event at this point. I'll take that money and spend it elsewhere.

Get the DVD. That will cost them more than the refund. What annoys me is they never accept responsibility for the continued issues with iPPV.

For me it's not about trying to cost them the most money, it's about my lack of desire to even watch the show now given the hassle and the response from the company. I got my money back, and I'm giving it to another company (most likely Chikara by way of one of the King Of Trios DVDs). And yeah, with these iPPV problems it's always some unforeseen third party issue according to them. This latest one was really kind of vague while trying to come off as technical. I cannot figure out why they can't get their stuff together when so many other companies seem to be able to do so.

I suspect that they're using equipment that's outdated, cheaping out on bandwidth and overall trying to do things on the cheap. Granted, other feds like Chikara probably do 2/3 of an RoH buy on iPPV but Chikara seems to actually invest more as well.
I'm just being honest, it feels like the entire promotion is trying to do everything on the cheap.

The moral of the story here is they never should have gotten rid of GFL. GFL did the anniversary show from the same building in Chicago last year and there were nearly no issues, certainly nothing on the level of what happened on Saturday.
