Yeah, I mean Davey Richards is a giant fan of a murderer who was a giant fan of a sociopath. What the fuck does that have to do with the name "American Wolves" (or even "American Pitbulls") being a play on "British Bulldogs"? Seriously are you just digging reasons out of your ass to say negative things about things and people that are associated with ROH? That's a rhetorical question, by the way. Of course that's what you're doing. It's full circle that he's being used as a sort of Bulldogs team considering he's so highly influenced by Benoit who was so highly influenced by DK. And you're full of shit on that. I haven't said one bad thing about Edwards in this thread. My disdain for Richards is well known beyond this board. And it is amusing that he's doing a tribute band for the Bulldogs considering what a piece of shit DK is and how Benoit turned out.

John Cahill and Eric Philbin (I couldn't quite make out the last name) seem to be the names they got:

The sad hypocrisy to this situation is they would have gotten deals right away if they were on steroids.

You've made it pretty well known that nine times out of ten, if it has some sort of association to ROH, it sucks.

John Cahill is okay. Not keen on the other.

I do have an issue with the company and I tend to think they make guys boring. But I think Edwards has potential but is going to end up like Hero because of his size.

I get the E wants to own the rights to these names, but dear God. 95% of theme are so damn lame.

Three friends who were there called it a very good, competitive match. I'm hearing the Wolves are getting a unique deal where they're going to be on TV (SmackDown to be exact) without a contract and if they get over, they get signed. It helps them that WWE wants more tag teams and they're one of the best tag teams of this era, or any era to be quite frank. I'll watch SmackDown to see those guys. Hell, if they make any merch for them I'd probably buy it.

I would be wary if I were them. I mean, they have to take their chance but I don't trust the current WWE management very well.
Seeing them do some jobs to the Wyatts should be some good fun though.

They need better names though.

For every good name WWE gives newcomers, they have at least two that are terrible. These add to the terrible.

So the names are actually Derrick Billington (ring announcer messed up his name) and John Cahill.
