Introduced Tony Atlas into my fed by teaming him with SD Jones. I had SD with Koko but Koko was injured for a lengthy duration after a match with Kurrgan recently. When Koko heals up I will bring him back as a singles competitor again until something comes of it.

Well, I went ahead and had Mike turn heel on the last real show of 2013. Essentially, he got some award on a show in September and Jigsaw smashed it in his face and injured him. So he's been out all of this time. So these are the two segments of the show I ran:
Mike Quackenbush is backstage with Gavin Loudspeaker. Mike mentions that he's been cleared to wrestle by the doctors and that he plans to get back into the swing of things first thing in 2014. He'll be gunning for the NXT Championship. He reminds the fans that he did make the final of the tournament for the belt back in August. He thinks he'll have some championship gold next year.
Homicide d. Eddie Kingston by DQ
The referee called for the disqualification when Ruckus smashed Homicide with a chair outside of the ring. Ruckus grabbed Homicide and held him until Kingston hit the Backfist to the Future. Kingston and Ruckus put the boots to Homicide until Mike Quackenbush hits the ring. They bail to the outside and Mike fights off a few of their attempts to climb back in. Mike helps Homicide to his feet and then hits the Quackendriver III to the shock of the crowd. Eddie Kingston and Ruckus slide back into the ring and raise Mike's hands. Eddie gets on the mic and tells the fans to give a big welcome to the newest member of BLKout. Mike takes the mic and tells the fans that he slaved away inside of the ring for decades and no one ever truly appreciated him. The NWA only let him keep the Junior belt for so long because they forgot he had it. He spent the last few months recovering and he didn't hear one word from any of his so called fans. He's out for only one person now and that's Mike Quackenbush. That's why he closed Chikara and that's why he just drove Homicide's head right through the mat. He promised Eddie Kingston that he would bring the NXT Championship into BLKout and that's what's going to happen. If the fans don't like that, then they can just stick it.
So a little Hogan 1996ish but I like how it came off and it has me really energized for my NXT fed. I think heel Mike Quackenbush as the solo star of BLKout is going to lead to some interesting things in the future.

My UWFI fed is so friggin' cursed. The last show was pretty much all squashes except for the main event and then my champion loses the belt on the first defense AGAIN.

I hate it when champs lose right away... especially if you give the guy a rematch and he wins it...makes for very messy title histories.

I kind of eliminated rematches for that reason. The former champion tends to disappear for about 3-4 months so that the new champion can move on to new defenses and my title history doesn't get too messy.

Hallelujah, a champion successfully retains the belt in my UWFI fed!

I've been making a general outline for how I want the first few months of NXT to go in 2014.
I have a real log jam of challengers for each championship belt.
The NXT Championship has Jay Lethal, Eddie Edwards, Chris Hero, Green Ant and now Mike Quackenbush gunning for immediate title shots.
The TV Championship has A.R. Fox, Alex Colon, Matt Taven, BJ Whitmer, Tommaso Ciampa and Ryan Taylor all deserving shots at the belt.

That's extremely ironic, since that's how RoH books (or at least, they did last time I watched)

Yeah. I tend to dislike it in my feds because I only have about a title defense a month. It's hard to outline right now.

Well, Thesz and Gotch are on track for a big World Title rematch in my fed. Gotch just thoroughly picked Inoki apart, I'm starting to wonder if he won't do the same thing to Thesz.

Tony Atlas did indeed become the first champ of my New fed, defeating Ray Stevens in watch was fittingly the best match I'd had so far... he survived the Bomb's Away 4 times before turning it around. For the Tag Titles, the Kangaroos defeated the New Hart Foundation (Jannetty and Condrey) on Red Berry interference. My hope is both champs can have a title defense or two and have big rematches at my first PPV on card #7

The Kangaroos should be no problem. You might have to coddle Atlas with some less than stellar defenses. But someone like Buddy Rose is always good for those kinds of defenses.

Kangaroos are an upper echelon team in Legends. They should be able to put together some defenses. If handled properly Atlas may be able to put together a few defenses, but it's going to be a tougher road for him.

Yeah, the Kangaroos had a 10 month run in my fed and all of their defenses were against high level teams.
