Well what else did they announce that's worth being almost halfway excited about?! Lesnar/Taker? PSSSSSSSH. I was just joking. I really haven't had much interest in the Undertaker for about ten years now. Lesnar would get me halfway excited. Still wish they would have gone with Lesnar winning the Rumble, Bryan winning the title and Have David vs Goliath to headline mania. But of course, everyone has their own thoughts. I'm guessing Batista's contract includes getting a title shot at Mania and they can't back out now. Now they'll just bury the championship behind Lesnar-Taker and Bryan-HHH. More wishful thinking, They agree to a short term deal with Punk. He returns to save Bryan from a HHH-Kane beat down. Mania is Punk/Bryan-HHH/Kane. Either Punk or Bryan turn heel on the other and become HHH's stooge. Then a 3 PPV feud between Punk and Bryan culminating with a loser leaves WWE. Punk loses, Bryan's even more over, Punk goes on hiatus until next Mania or the one after that.

The only real reason I care about Taker vs. Brock is it's Taker vs. Brock. I'm just hoping it doesn't end up as much of a steaming turd as Punk vs. Undertaker last year. That was a classic case of "This is either really good, or I'm only enjoying this because of how much the rest of this show sucked."

Punk was the best of a crop of bad choices for Undertaker last year. He simply was not the right guy for Undertaker to be wrestling at this point for a number of reasons. Brock and Undertaker should be perfect because they can just "bring the heavy lumber" and have a great looking fight type match.

I'm happy they're pushing some new guys, but I just can't get excited about UT-Lesnar.. it's likely going to be a slow motion stiff slugfest... OK I guess, but not the kinda of match I particularly enjoy.
Orton-Batista is only notable to see if Batista does something entertaining (like go into the crowd or lose it and shoot on the fans or something), otherwise blah.
Hopefully we do indeed get Bryan-HHH, that could be epic.

Orton/Bootista is interesting because I want to see how bad the fans shit all over it. And it has the added bonus of Bootista not being in ring shape and the match is all but a lock to be awful.

That would be epic. I actually like the Batista character and if he'd have come back when the fans weren't in open revolt he wouldn't be getting crapped on so hard. Undertaker and Lesnar will be anything but "slow motion slugfest". Neither of those guys works that way. It will likely be a helluva fight, though.

Thought about this when I first saw the poster last night: I love how everyone on the poster save for Bryan/Wyatt were around at WrestleMania XX and all of them (except arguably Cena) were in major matches on that show.
