This would be an amazing card...if it was SummerSlam. I agree! It is shaping up pretty well, but it doesn't seem special enough to be Wrestlemania, especially an anniversary. |

Then again, WM 20 wasn't particularly special and IIRC neither was 25.
The best WMs tend to be the ones where they don't try and go special, it just comes together that way.

Bray Wyatt vs John Cena just seems lame They had somewhat good build going until Cena came out with his stupid singing and making jokes about them last night because fuck forbid he take the Wyatts seriously. The best WMs tend to be the ones where they don't try and go special, it just comes together that way. Really? I've got one for you: WrestleMania X-Seven. They built that up like it was the biggest show ever and it delivered the overall best WrestleMania ever. WrestleMania XIX was the same way, it had a ton of build and was an awesome show. You know why those shows worked out so well? They had two great cards with great (in the case of X-Seven, amazing) build and matches that people wanted to see. |

HHH/Orton/Big Dave is probably your main event. No way... they wouldn't dare... they'd get booed out of the building. I admit I was thinking they were headed there with the HHH love fest, but the way Raw ended? No way. OTOH, they do have all those WWE network subs for 6 months, so if HHH is THAT arrogant, he could make himself champ then have that time to get the fans back... Aw, crap. |

So, what do you guys think about the rest of the card?
The Shield break up seems to have stalled.... or maybe Ambrose will balk at going against Kane now?
They're pushing Sheamus v. Christian pretty hard... that could be the opener, or the pre-show, or maybe new PPV (and move the story along in the battle royal...)
Women's title match? Doesn't seem the right time for Tamina v. AJ (no connection to the Divas TV show)... so who?
Tag Title match? Maybe the Real Americans break up DURING a tag title match, or after, and their match happens next time? Seems like they're running out of shows to set up the undercard.

I think we might get Kane/Ambrose and then Reigns and Rollins/Harper and Rowan. Not sure why I'm thinking of that tag match as a possibility, though.

Those last four guys could put it over the top---but more likely it's Los Matadores, Xavier Woods, and Wade Barrett. They've got one more week to have Brock show some testicular fortitude before Mania. If not, it will still probably be a good match but I have no idea what they're thinking with this non-build.

I think it's more likely they'll have someone more interesting as a 'suprise' entrant than those guys. Barrett would actually be a surprise (to me)... when was the last time he wrestled...last year?
I actually shut the show off during the Divas segment... the Taker-Lesnar thing sounds really silly though.
