I'd be all for Rob Terry in ROH. Gunner would be good in ROH, as well.

They had Gunner for a try-out years ago and in their Infinite wisdom passed on him. They did the same with Damian Wayne.

They had Slugger in the early days but he was awful. The problem for big guys and RoH is they would have to have an entire philosophical shift on roster construction for that to work.

I'd like to see them bring back Rhino as well. They did jack shit with him outside of two real good matches with Eddie Edwards and a good match with Davey.

The Rhino thing was always weird. They pushed him on the website a lot but he was rarely on tv.

He's still in the TV intro and hasn't been on TV in a year.

It just amazes me they've been on tv this long and they've made virtually no roster upgrades in that time. I mean, how long did they have RD Evans before they figured out they should use him a bit? Fucking IWA-MS has Shane Helms and Jeff Jarrett working shows. Who the fuck knew they were still running shows?!?! Why can't RoH have Helms working for them? Why didn't they have Shark Boy between TNA stints? Why isn't Colt Cabana working there? Why wasn't Willie Mack every given a try out?
Seriously, I just watched Chase Owens on a Chikara show and he was really good. Why isn't he in RoH?

I don't read the news like I used to. Why does everyone hate ACH?

Seriously, I just watched Chase Owens on a Chikara show and he was really good. Why isn't he in RoH? There are a lot of reasons those guys aren't a good fit for ROH, many of them probably financial. Shark Boy has the TNA stigma about him. Helms would be interesting but again it's a fine line between bringing in seasoned, well known guys who can bring something to the company and looking like TNA where it was at one point just full of ex-WWE and WCW guys. Colt Cabana still has a grudge against the idea of working for ROH. Willie Mack seems to be in the process of getting ready to show up on NXT, but even before that he's an expensive plane ticket to bring in from Cali for a guy they'd have to build up from scratch to most of their fans. Back on topic, BITW seems to be shaping up about as I figured it would. I like the top matches and it will be interesting to see how they fill out the undercard.

I don't read the news like I used to. Why does everyone hate ACH? He's annoying, doesn't shut up in the locker room, cares more about getting his moves in than he does putting together a match that makes sense, he gets overexcited in the locker room. There's a lot of matches where you can tell his opponent doesn't like him and they hammer the shit out of him, it's pretty great.

Aren't most indy guys guilty of being more interested in getting in their moves over a match that makes sense?
I never got the lovefest ACH was getting a couple of years ago.

With Helms, they waste time and money on Matt Hardy. Helms fits their roster well, he seems like a decent guy behind the scenes and he doesn't have a lot of stigma.
And yes, Willie Mack would be expensive but I think he would have gotten over quickly.
RoH seems to always wait on guys and you just can't do that now because NXT just snatches guys right up now.

Aren't most indy guys guilty of being more interested in getting in their moves over a match that makes sense? Most of them don't try to call six impact moves in a row as mid match filler. Seriously, he did that in an eight minute match with Bobby Fish. It was easily the worst Bobby Fish match I've ever seen. I never got the lovefest ACH was getting a couple of years ago. He does flips and shit. So does Rich Swann, only with a million times more personality and he can actually put together a match.

I never liked ACH for the same reason I never gave a shit about Jack Evans. You have to be able to make me invest in you and flippy flop shit doesn't do it. I need character. I would rather watch two guys I care about fight over a headlock for 10 minutes then watch two guys with no personality try to out move each other.

Jack Evans actually has personality though. It might not be the kind of personality that is enjoyable for everyone to watch, but he's got personality.
