Obviously I missed some things the last few weeks. Why did Rowan go face? I thought Bray had control over these guys.

Obviously I missed some things the last few weeks. Why did Rowan go face? I thought Bray had control over these guys. They did a series of videos where Bray "set free" Rowan and Harper to find their own path after declaring that he had fixed them. A lot of it was left unsaid and it was pretty ambiguous. Harper is still a psychopath, but Rowan free from Bray's influence apparently is a misunderstood monster who like pretty girls and fluffy cats. Him showing up at the end for Cena's team was completely out of the blue since there was never an official "turn" moment. Or one of any kind, actually. UNless you count him awkwardly showing up in the background for the Adam Rose Exotic Express thing or telling Rene Young she is pretty.

Sounds like I didn't miss much... so they took Sheamus out of the survivor series match... that mean he'll fight Rusev, you think? Or is he in a movie or something?

WWE is so identifiable, so easy to relate to. Like the one time I turned on my sibling, beat the living shit out of of them, and told them "I wish you had died in thaaaa woooooommb!!!" then we were cool a couple weeks later.
Good writing.

I can't see this even getting it's wheels off the ground. The anonymous GM has me thinking they had no idea what direction they wanted to go in post-authority. Please God, don't let it be that POS Foley. They really need an impartial, under the radar type GM that only comes out once every couple of months for a big contract signing, or to make a big PPV announcement. Enough w the evil puppet master GM crap.

Actually, if you knew my brother, this wouldn't seem so farfetched...

If they don't at least have people question whether it's HHH and Steph, I'm done for a while, that stretches my disbelief too far. Daniel Bryan was fun for the night, but he was too 'good'. I'd love for Sting to be GM, that would totally work. Or Regal getting 'called up' from NXT (Though he's not done much with the role there, to be honest). I agree someone that was actually neutral would be an interesting and refreshing change.
I also agree Foley would be terrible...maybe 5 years ago, but he's a parody of himself at this point (same with Piper, really).

I also thought bringing back anonymous GM was a last ditch move to show they had no freaking clue what to do after Survivor Series. That never went anywhere to begin with, and should have stayed buried. There were not a lot of people clamoring for the conclusion to that story with a big reveal. The entire concept of the meddling general manager is outdated by at least ten years. Then again, outdated by ten years is kind of fresh compared to some of the other gems they've broken out in the recent past (Xavier Woods doing a 1960s James Brown bit, for instance). Is it possible that the nearly 70 year old Vince and his also aging lackey Kevin Dunn on production are maybe just a little bit out of touch? RAW looks essentially the same as it has since about 1998, and they keep recycling things to a ridiculous degree.
On the positive, I did like reading that Daniel Bryan was back. Seems like he did a good job, and the stuff I've seen online looked entertaining to me.

Actually, if you knew my brother, this wouldn't seem so farfetched... The whole Bella/Stephanie program took up so much TV time, and they just go back to normal a few weeks later, rendering all of it useless. Brie quit, then didn't, then wrestled, then got turned on, then didn't care. I don't know what the hell the point of all of that was. it was good to to Bryan throw out the authority. At least that had a pay off. the week they did the multiple Bella life skits was the week I turned off Wwe and didn't really watch again until last night, thanks to Sting, who wasn't even there.

I love the Ascension's Tomax and Xamot gear.

So now that they've had guys 1/2 their size kick the ever loving crap out of them for a month, they're going ot be monsters again? I guess that'll work since not that many people watch NXT (and certainly the only reference to it, if any, would be that they were champs for a year), but it sure seems dumb to me.

God the Ascension blow. They can't cut a promo to save their ass so let's put them in the ring with a bunch of guys who can to make them look even more pathetic. And have the Christopher Daniels look alike be in the ring next to XPac who is the same size. That is just dumb.

Yeah, they really messed them up. Not that their NXT persona's would have worked on Raw... like you say, the fact that they're not the big makes having them be unstoppable heels tough, since most of the guys on the main roster are as big/bigger. Maybe they'll get back to their more vanilla tough guy routine and make it in the indies in a few months
