In their defense, they didn't start it out like Bryan was fucking Stephanie to cover up an alleged affair with whoever that chick is only to set up a paternity test where there was no baby at all. That said, Paul Heyman is the fucking man.

That said, Paul Heyman is the fucking man. Everything they've done with Brock since the second he pinned the Undertaker has been perfect. When was the last time I was emotionally invested in the winner of a WWE match? I don't even know. Usually I just hope for a good match no matter who wins or loses. I guess when Brock beat Taker but of course I never expected it so not sure that counts. I literally clapped at my TV and hollered in approval of that promo. I want Brock to win SO bad. edit: Last time was when Bryan beat Cena last year at Summerslam. I was so pissed when HHH then screwed him.

What they need to do next is have someone catch HHH backstage (or at the NXT performance center) with another woman and leak that info to the Bryan's. Get a solid mystery going and turn the tables on Stephanie.
btw anyone else think Steph was channeling HBK vs. Hogan when she sold that Yes Lock?

I think she learned to sell from her father.
That whole show hinges on the main event (the real one, not Stephanie and Brie). The outcome could make or break them. This one is in its own way more important than Wrestlemania because all of the initial six month subscriptions to the WWE Network (did you know it's just 9.99 per month?) run up right after this. If they upset a lot of hardcore fans they may backlash by not renewing. If they are counting on fans buying no matter what these days, they'd better rethink that strategy.

They put up a 30 minute preview for Cena vs. Lesnar on the WWE Network and anyone who has a Network sub should give it a watch. They actually made the match seem like an important happening, which is a rarity in American pro wrestling nowadays. It really comes off like a 'major' main event.

Y'know, I'd have an easier time digesting John Cena being serious if he hadn't wasted the last ten years acting like nothing mattered.

Turns out someone on Dailymotion uploaded the tremendous Lesnar vs. Cena countdown special.

RVD/Cesaro as the preshow match...Cesaro's in the same position now that he was 2 years ago--the preshow of SummerSlam.

Lesnar has to win today. How else will Cena become a 16 time world champion if he doesn't lose the belt?

Lesnar has to win today. How else will Cena become a 16 time world champion if he doesn't lose the belt? Lesnar has Cena in the kimura, ref counts three just as Cena taps, title gets held up, Triple H wins it in the Elimination Chamber at New Year's Revolution.... Uh, I mean Cena wins it the next month at Night of Champions.

That first thirty seconds of the main event was pretty great.

Great match.
And, thankfully, there won't be a riot.
#QuestFor16 starts now.

SnowflakeSlam Cesaro/RVD: *** Miz/Ziggler: ** Paige/AJ: **1/2 Rusev/Swagger: ** Ambrose/Rollins: ***1/4 Wyatt/Jericho: *** Bella/McMahon: *** Reigns/Orton: ****1/4 Lesnar/Cena: ****
That main event was the best squash match I've ever seen. No bad matches on the show, everything was good. Probably the most solid WWE PPV this year outside of WrestleMania.
