Excellent show. AJ/Cole, the TV Title match and the main event are all well worth the time to watch and Elgin/Briscoe has a bit of novelty value since it's a title change but the match itself was really nothing special.

Elgin's a fucking moron who said he wanted to try out for MLB, failed to get over as a babyface champion and he's not exactly the most well liked guy. The baseball thing was the final nail in Elgin's coffin.

They really waited too long on Elgin for the belt. But putting the belt back on Brisco is a really bad move IMO.

And the thing is. I like Jay Briscoe but he is just not a World Title guy, especially if you're trying to be a national level promotion. Not that they really have anyone outside of Styles/Daniels that are World Title caliber right now since they screwed up Cole and Elgin spent the last year making sure that no one gave a shit about him.

Daniels isn't main event level at all. Briscoe was means to an end. He'll probably drop the title at Final Battle.

I don't know what the hell happened with Elgin though. Booking did fuck him over but he really hurt himself by fucking up his style and this baseball shit. Yeah, he's really going to make a baseball roster...

His work visa expired, fans started to see through his bullshit, his attitude turned the locker room against him, he said he wanted to play baseball, he dropped fall after fall on the indies which made the belt look like shit.

I'd love to see Daniels get a short run with the belt... he deserves to have some sort of title some time. I'm sure Briscoe was a last minute thing and won't last long.
