New Japan wants the ROH World Title on 1/4 and the only logical Final Battle main event is Bennett vs. Briscoe. New Japan really likes Bennett, it's not out of the realm of possibility that they'd throw the title on him just to appease New Japan. Granted, I don't see Bennett having a long title reign at all if he gets it but I'm certainly not looking forward to it.

Wouldn't the fans burn the building down. I literally never see anyone write anything about Bennett. He kills everything he gets added to. I understand appeasing New Japan but wow. Your product is fucked up when Mike Bennett is a viable World Champion.

I'm pretty sure him beating Jay Briscoe in ANY building ROH runs would result in a hell of a negative fan reaction. I mean, Jay could win the match. It's not out of the realm of possibility. Part of me hopes Adam Cole wins it from Jay.

There'd also be Ciampa as a viable option had they not fucked his booking after he won the TV Title.

It's a really bleak look at their roster right now. Could they bring in Naito or Ishii for a short run?

Ishii's left shoulder is pretty much useless at this point, I have no idea how that dude's even still going. Naito's being groomed for a second shot at being a legit main event guy in New Japan. I think Bennett to Ciampa to Cedric Alexander would be fine if they managed to get some traction with Ciampa and pulled the trigger at the right time with Cedric.
