The rope-a-dope thing is what I figured they would do in a rematch. Brock tires himself out, suffers his first lost since WM XXIX and then just floats around doing jack shit until WM 31 when his contract comes up. Makes for a nice bit of continuity with their matches but I'd rather see Cena try to outsmart Brock only to get put down again...but what are the odds Cena loses two in a row...to the same guy?

I have a feeling a lot of people are getting a little uneasy imagining John Cena training montages, special coaching by some MMA dude or another, and the big Rocky win to make status once again very much quo in WWE. I would give them benefit of the doubt, but recent history proves they have become very formula. I'll just say I won't be surprised at either man winning at this point. WWE 2014 pretty much plays like any year since about 2007 or 2008, with only minor variations on the same themes*. Same look, same formula, same basic premise. Compare that to any other 6-8 year period before and realize how stagnant it's become.
Imagine the vast difference in look and presentation from 1985 to 1992, or 1993 to 2000. At this point they know business is stagnant but they're terrified to change anything too drastically because of the pressure of being a publicly traded company. This is why Cena coming out on top once again would not be a shock; they listen to investors more than fans now.
In the past every time they changed the company logo it meant a shift in direction for the entire company as well. This time? We'll see I suppose.
*Yeah, Bryan won at Mania. But they immediately set about completely sabotaging him with that Kan nonsense and the "wrestling kiss of death": a wife storyline. Cena never lost a step though and even if Bryan wouldn't have been injured they'd have invoked a "house attendance is down, ratings are stagnant" line to get that belt back on Cena (probably though a screwjob Kane title win) anyway.Notice how John Cena stays FAR, FAR away from any association with his Bella on WWE TV? That's because they know that stuff is doom for a babyface.

I think Cena will take a different approach to the match. Last a little longer, push Lesnar a little more but ultimately fall. Then they'll probably do a gimmick at the next PPV to really halt the momentum.

That's presumably the final card and it's not a bad lineup at all.

Boy, Jericho-Orton sure is out of left field... I guess they felt they couldn't have a PPV without Orton? Bo-Swagger could be the pre-show, or maybe will be next time.. they did just start it.
It could also just be the best they could come up with to end the Swagger-Rusev program, and just pay off on Raw at some point down the road (or not at all)

Didn't they plant the seeds of Orton/Jericho a couple weeks ago on Smackdown?

Probably. I tend to forget that SmackDown exists.

Ahhh.... that could be. I haven't watched Smackdown in years... probably since they got rid of the roster split for good. I figure anything useful that happens they'd recap.

So, apparently Roman Reigns is out for tomorrow night. He had to have emergency hernia surgery today, according to the WWE twitter feed.

Wonder if this means Ambrose is coming back or if they're gonna run with Seth having a forfeit victory over Roman.

With Reigns/Rollins off, we're down to seven matches and the Jericho/Christian Peep Show segment on the show. Wonder how this will change the match times.

Maybe they'll fast track Hideo Sincari and put him on the show.
