Because they were both overhyped foreign wrestlers who botched up their first match?

Because they were both overhyped foreign wrestlers who botched up their first match? Because KENTA slipped on a missile dropkick? I didn't know that qualified as "botching up" his first match.

Is a missile drop kick what they call a top rope Rikisihi ass drop?

Is a missile drop kick what they call a top rope Rikisihi ass drop? Oh, you mean the double stomp that actually landed? Guys tend to slide after the move hits, look at what Davey Richards did to Paul London last year. Unless you stick the landing right in the middle of the guy's torso, you're going to slide.

Mmmkay. That double stomp to the arm is clearly exactly what he was going for.
Or maybe your boy blew a move on the big stage.
Guess it's a question of open-mindedness and that common sense thing.

Obviously it wasn't exactly what he was going for, you're not going to land a move like that exactly where you need to every time you hit it. The only move he blew in that match was the springboard dropkick attempt. Everything else was fine. He wasn't tripping over himself or missing shit by a mile like Mistico did. Oh wait, he missed by a few inches and hit the guy on the arm---what a botch~! Hey, Kaval didn't land this perfectly--he blew a move on the big stage! Sin Kavalra, amirite?

So any reason you had to use a picture instead of the actual video. Oh that's right, cause the video shows both feet hitting the mat and his ass bouncing off his chest. I can probably find some still photos of Sin Cara moves that look like he did them right too. I'm willing to give him a chance in the WWE and glad they are starting him in NXT. If they had shot him straight to RAW, gave him so cool lighting and a mask, it'd be the Sin Cara situation all over again. I realize that's a tough finisher but don't choose one where you either injure your opponent or look like you didn't even touch him. m.youtube.com/watch?v=1PHTFoL4FnE

I can probably find some still photos of Sin Cara moves that look like he did them right too. Because he lands on the guy's arm and slides off. I've seen Davey Richards, Low Ki and countless other guys do it. Does that mean they botched out the match that it happened in? I'm willing to give him a chance in the WWE and glad they are starting him in NXT. He was left with really nothing he can do safely to everyone on the roster.

I was just reading this and getting ready to type pretty much what he wrote above: dude can't do any of his own signature moves he invented because every WWE superstar of the last five-plus years people went apeshit about stole them from him already. Hell, Punk didn't even have the common decency to switch the name and now people would think KENTA stole his own move right down to the name!

Night Of Champions became night of Cesaro and Sheamus stealing the show. Great match, great performance by both men. Nothing else was more than average to good in my opinion, and that Rusev and Henry match was terrible. That could have been one of the worst matches I've seen on a big show in a long time (PPV? Live network event? What the hell do we call these now?).
Also, Cena throwing kid brother fight punches against the former UFC heavyweight champion looks absolutely comical.
That is all.

Honestly, the fact that we are still talking about the fact that he missed the double stomp (and it's not just here, it's on reddit and other places) is on WWE production. This wasn't live. They could have reshot the spot and edited it in.

That could have been one of the worst matches I've seen on a big show in a long time (PPV? Live network event? What the hell do we call these now?). I am partial to "Super Cards" but that's just me. I thought the event was adequate and, with the exception of the Diva's title switch and that Henry-Rusev abortion, smartly booked. I'm hoping they give Lesnar the month off and don't book act 3 until Survivor Series.

I think they're calling them "special events" now.
My snowflakes for the show: Brotherhood/Usos: **1/4 Sheamus/Cesaro: ****1/4 Miz/Ziggler: *1/4 Rusev/Henry: * Jericho/Orton: **** AJ/Nikki/Paige: **1/2 Cena/Lesnar: ***3/4
One of the better WWE events this year. Still need to watch Takeover: Fatal 4 Way.

I think they're calling them "special events" now. They might want to remind Cole when he's instructed to ridicule the people who paid $55 for the PPV. That was fucking awkward, making fun of people who paid $55 to watch it. I know you want to sell the Network but that was bad business. If I was dumb enough to spend $55 on the PPV, I don't want to be called out as being stupid by the product I just bought. It pisses me off the more I think about it.

I noticed he did that when I was rewatching Cesaro/Sheamus. That's another misstep in a long list of ways they've really mismarketed the Network.
