You're going to be all done with 2 1/2 weeks still left in October. I probably won't be watching 97 until midweek.

Wow, '95 sounds as bad as the build up on Nitro is making it (which is what I watched last)... it's amazing the Monday Night Wars ever got started with that nonsense... I guess they're lucky WWF wasn't much better.

I still remember the PWI where someone listing things wrong with WCW and 3 times listed was Barbarian in a World Title match.

I attended HH 95 in person. The whole Giant falling off the top of the Joe and into the Detroit river was so funny. He would have splattered on the ground and died, coming nowhere close to water. But either way, he was a Giant, so he survived. Haha

Here we go! 1997! From the MGM Grand. Video package is much, much better than the one from 1995. Oh god... Dusty is on commentary. I have no recollection of that. I must have blocked it out.

Yugi Nagata vs Ultimo Dragon is the opener. They bring in Tennay to offer his expertise.

Of the three I've watched, this is already the hottest crowd. They are popping for every one of Dragon's moves.

Sonny Ono contributed nothing as a manager. He couldn't draw heat if he set an orphanage on fire. Yugi wins by submission. So far this is the best opening match.

Backstage segment with Mark Madden, Disco Inferno, and Jackie. I swear. It's the worst. Next up is an "unadvertised match": Gedo vs. Jericho. Okay this is my first encounter with Jericho's WWE theme being edited in to WCW footage. It's so wrong.

Gedo seriously looks like the world's most dangerous pajama enthusiast.

This generic, White Meat Babyface Jericho. The moves are there, but he's almost unreckognizable due to the lack of character.

The four man booth here with Tennay, brain, dream, and Tony is not a good combo.

Jericho wins with the lion-tamer. Off to a good start. Next up Mean Gene interviews Debra's chest. The rest of her is also there. And Mongo crashes the interview. This is the Halloween Havoc I know and tolerate.
