Muraco's gonna be my star, at least that's the plan atm... the dice could say differently, of course House Show Dec. 28th, 2007 Memorial Arena SCOTTY POE (w/ Bad News Allen) def. “Diamond’ Tim Flowers with a Piledriver 4:31 Short, brutal match. Flowers used a foreign object to set up his piledriver, leading Bad News Allen to get involved and nail Flowers with the Ghetto Blaster while Scotty was complaining to the referee. Scotty then used HIS piledriver for the win. Flowers was furious.. this one is no where near over SWEDE HANSON def. George ‘the animal’ Steele(w/ Dr. Jerry) by DQ @ 2:17. No wrestling to be found in this one! Hanson was able to overpower Steele, who got scared and left the ring. Hanson tired of Dr. Jerry trying to coax him back inside, and can out after him. This seemed to anger the animal, and he clamped his jaws on Swede’s forearm, drawing blood. It took Dr. Jerry and three officials to get him to let go. JP Foley was out on the entrance ramp, livid Foley: I thought you could control him! Listen, Graham, we need discipline if you’re going to continue to be the first family of Canadian Wrestling! Now get back here and make sure you’re ready for the main event! (Foley storms off) ROUGH ‘N’ TUMBLE def. Carpentier/Don Jardine by DQ @ 6:17 Carpentier just can’t by a break. This was a good match from the outset, but when Bass was on the wrong end of Jardine’s claw, he managed to roll outside. Carpentier went over to toss him back in when Bass threw himself down and shook a fork out of his sleeve. The referee turned to survey the scene and once again disqualified Carpentier! GENE KNISKI def. Alexis Smirnoff with the Big Thunder Clothesline @ 4:42. Very impressive win for Big Thunder, as he man-handled the big Russian THE GRAHAMS def. Pat O’Connor/The Grappler @ 16:42 to retain the Western Canadian tag Titles when Eddie Graham pins the Grappler Great match! O’Connor was very impressive, getting several near falls on Dr. Jerry… who was distracted by his charged antics outside the ring. (Luke had taken some popcorn from a fan, and was throwing it to George the animal, as if he were a duck… George was scooping it up and eating it) JP Foley was livid, and resorted to smashing a steel chair against the ring steps to get their attention and calm them down. It worked too well, as Foley was unable to rouse them to interfere in the match. Luckily for him, once he got into the ring, Eddie really looked solid, and dominated the Grappler, eventually getting the pin. BILLY ROBINSON def. Don Muraco by Countout @ 3:12 when Muraco leaves the ring. Muraco retains the Western Canadian Heavyweight Title Muraco came out strong, and got a near fall with his Asiatic Spike, but when Robinson made a comeback, he gestured ‘that’s it’ and left the arena. The crowd was booing and tossing trash as he left.. while Robinson stood in the ring screaming at him to return.

Stampede Wrestling TV Dec. 31st, 2007
THE MASKED MOUNTIES (LT) def. The Berserkers(Smirnoff/Eric the Red) by DQ @ 7:51
The Mounties put upa real solid fight, and clearly frustrated Smirnoff in particular. After Mountie # 2 missed his lawman leap, the big Russian weny crazy and starting pounding him relentlessly as the Mountie attempted to curl into the fetal position. The referee called for the bell, but Smirnoff refused to quick, until several guys from the face locker room came out to pull him off. Initially a TKO, the referee reversed his decision to a DQ after the attack.
DON ‘BABYFACE’ JARDINE (w/ Spiros Arion) def. “Killer’ Karl Kox with the Hangmen’s neckbreaker @ 7:17.
Spiros Arion got a good round of applause, coming out in a neck brace, on his first time back since his injury. Jardine actually doiminated the match, working the neck of Kox and ever using a blatant choke on one occasion. Arion admonished him not to sink to Kox’s level, and the distraction lead to Kox nearly getting the victory. Jardine was able to duck under a big clothesline and resume control for the victory. Arion came into the ring to congratulate Jardine when Kox took a swing with a steel chair. Arion was able to duck the blow and kick it back into Kox’s face, cutting open his forehead. He was muttering ‘not this way’ as Jardine guided him to the back, while the doctor tended to Kox’s cut.
SCOTTY POE def. Bugsy Mcgraw after a shot with his ‘bling’ @ 22:33.
Scotty came out to a good pop, and showed the crowd a gaudy gold chain, which he said he bought with the money he was going to win in Memphis at Rassle Royal. The match was a real slobberknocker, with Bugsy bleeding profusely. He had Scotty trapped in the corner, when he took a shot to the face with Scotty’s new chain and fell hard for the pin.
PAT O’CONNOR/GRAPPLER def. Mystery of the Orient(Singh/Kamata) by DQ when Singh is DQ’ed for a choke @ 8:32.
O’Connor and the Grappler controlled most of the match once Singh entered the contest… he had no answer for the techincall process of either of his opponents. When finally given a small opening, he attempted to push the referee and was given little leeway, after the events earlier in the evening.
Commisioner Hart came out after the match, holding an envelope. He congratulated O’Connor for another victory, and granted him a title shot at the upcoming House show on Friday, Jan. 4th. While the Grappler looked confused, he went on to explain that Stampede was proud to have expanded its roster, adding the Mormon Giant, Don Leo Jonathan, American Wrestling Pioneer Verne Gagne, and British mid-heavyweight legend and British Empire Champ, Johnny Saint to the roster. He then shocked the two men in the ring by thanking the Grappler for his service, and announcing that this was his last match with Stampede. He gave hima check for his good service, and announce his LWA contract had been transferred to the RMWA promotion in Denver. He then directed the attention of the crowd to the video screen.
[The crowd goes CRAZY as Owen Hart appears on the monitor]
Owen (via taped message): As Keith has just announced, my appearance last week was no lone time deal, The Hart family will once again have family competing in the territory my dad built. I’m honored that Keith has chosen me to face Johnny Saint to determine the new Canadian Commonweath Mid-Heavyweight Champion, and I hope I’ll be able to live up to your expectations… (slightly teary) I’m coming home.
[Over a minute goes by as the crowd is too excited to realize the screen had gone dark. Commissioner Hart re-iterates that the new Commonweath Mid-Heavyweight title will be re-established, and that Pat O’Connor will challenge for the tag titles with a partner of his choosing, then quietly leaves]
BAD NEWS ALLEN def. ‘Diamond’ Tim Flowers with the Ghetto Blaster @ 4:17.
Allen seemed pretty annoyed at something, though it was unclear whether it was the stunned silence of the crowd or something else. He took it out on Flowers, who never had a chance in this one.
In the Grahams’ dressing Room: (Eddie is in his unmentionables, shouting at Luke to give him back his trunks, while George the Animal is in the corner, gnawing on the bench. JP Foley enters, and his face quickly shows his anger) Foley: What in the Blue Hell is goin’ on here? Where’s Dr. Jerry!! (Eddie shrugs, then goes after Luke) He said he had everything under control, then he doesn’t even come when he’s not on the card. Terrible. Will you two stop that! (Eddie has Luke in a hammerlock, but Luke is still refusing to give up the trunks) Never mind that, put SOMETHING on and get out there. (Eddie grabs his Jeans while Foley storms out. Luke starts giggling as George the Animal pulls a crumbled ball that used to be Eddie’s trunks out of the front of his pants)
JOHN PESEK def. Eddie Graham @ 12:36 with a double leg hook takedown
Very good match.. Pesek congratulated Eddie for a job well done after his victory.
Steel Cage Re-match for the Western Canadian Heavyweight Title:
BILLY ROBINSON def. Don Muraco after a Tombstone Piledriver @ 8:58 to become the new Western Canadian Heavyweight Champ!
Although he seemed daunted by the cage at first, Robinson quickly made the match into a technical contest and totally out wrestling Muraco. The crowd really got behind him as the match wore on, and he finally finished with a high impact piledriver to leave the cage to a big ovation

House Show Jan. 4th, 2008
SPIROS ARION def. Rob Rickert (LT) @ 4:01 with an Atomic Drop into the exposed turnbuckle brace
Arion told the crowd he’d had enough, he promised to show them what was in store for Karl Kox. He demolished Rickert, ripping the turnbuckle off and splitting him open with a ram into the metal brace, then finished him off with an atomic drop. Kox came down after the match and the two exchanged blows before security separated them ‘/i]
It took about 15 minutes to reset the ring. George ‘the animal’ Steele came out while they were repairing the turnbuckle and ripped open several others. Dr. Jerry was nowhere to be scene, so Commissioner Hart had him removed from the arena.
EDDIE SULLIVAN Def. Don Leo Jonathan with the Boston Crab @ 11:07
DLJ got a warm reception from the crowd, and thanked them for the welcome. Eddie Sullivan, on the other hand, was far less accommodating. He locked in the Boston Crad almost emmediately, but Jonathan easily powered out. As the match went on, however, Sullivan was able to work on his knee and stay away from the majority of his high impact offense. The crowd came to their feet when DLJ landed a dropkick, but Sullivan’s work on his knee had taken its toll and Jonathan collapsed upon landing. Sullivan locked in the Crab again and the referee stopped the fight, (though DLJ didn’t tap) for the HUGE upset victory.
SCOTTY POE (w/ Bad News Allen) def. Tim Flowers (w/ Don Muraco) with a piledriver @ 5:23.
Allen and Muraco were jawing at one another throughout the match, which was dominated by Scotty Poe. Muraco sucker punched Allen to save his friend from Scotty’s piledriver, but Scotty saw him in time for nail him with devastating right cross to allow him to plant Flowers for the pin. The crowd got on Allen’s case a bit when he called out the commissioner that he wanted a chance at some gold. Commissioner Keith Hart came out and calmed him down, and even agreed he was right. He booked the Ghetto Blasters Vs. Muraco and Flowers for next show, with the winners choosing what title to go for. Allen looked at the fallen forms of Muraco and Flowers and agreed before ‘Walk the Way’ blared and he left with Scotty.
THE BERSERKERS(Smirnoff/Eric the Red) def. Western Canadian Heavyweight Champ Billy Robinson/Don Jardine when Robinson was counted out @ 17:51.
inson and Jardine were in control most of the match, cutting Smirnoff off and wearing the big man down. Smirnoff showed his characteristic toughness, though, and fought through, finally making the tag to Eric. Eric the Red came in like a man possessed and knock Jardine off the apron before going to work on the Champion. Robinson attempted a flying tackle to brak the momentum but Eric was able to sidestep and send Robinson crashing to the floor. Jardine attacked quickly to stop a beating, but Robinson was unable to get back into the ring.
VERNE GAGNE def. Tor Kamata by DQ when Kamata used a foreign Object @ 2:42
A short, unpleasant debut for Gagne, who left with a victory, and a cut on his chin
TIGER JEET SINGH def. Gene Kniski by DQ after Verne Gagne interfered @ 4:14
Big Thunder looked to be on his way to continue his winning streak when Tor Kamata came down to ringside and distracted the referee after the Canadian Backbreaker. Kniski attempted to get the referee to count, but Singh had already escaped. Kniski followed Singh outside only to get salt in his eyes while the referee was still dealing with Kamata. Verne Gagne came down to ringside to stop Singh from beating on the downed Kniski, drawing the bell.
JOHNNY SAINT def. Owen Hart with the Three-in-one @ 7:58 to become the Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight Champ.
Saint got a good pop when “London Calling” played for his entrance, and a bigger one when he shook hands with Owen to start the match. The fans were very much pro-Hart, and were disappointed. Saint said one step ahead of him the entire match on his way to an impressive victory.
Pat O’Connor/Edward Carpentier def. The Grahams when George the animal layed out Eddie with a chair @ 11:23 to become the new Western Canadian Tag Team Champions
it was he usual circus that accompanied Foley’s ‘First Family’ but the tension between Dr. Jerry and Foley was palpable. Dr. Jerry ordered Eddie to start the match, and made no attempt to give George Steele or Luke any instructions. Luke took a Owen Hart action figure from a fan and was chasing Steele around with it, while Foley screamed at Dr. Jerry to help him. Meanwhile Carpentier and O’Connor were killing Eddie in the ring. Finally, when Eddie got some momentum, Dr. Jerry hopped off the apron to restore order, just in time for Eddie to not be able to escape. Eddie started yelling as he was fighting off a sleeper by Carpentier, and Dr. Jerry cursed, handing Steele a chair and got back up on the apron, yelling at Steele to ‘hit him’ Steele shrugged and nearly shattered Eddie’s skull. Carpentier was confused, but wasn’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth and coverd him for the pin while Dr. Jerry slapped Steele and berated him. Steele snapped and bit Dr. Jerry in the forehead… causing Luke to start jumping around and chanting “Dr. Jerry for lunch” Foley kicked the ring steps in disgust and stormed to the back, will O’Connor and Carpentier were in the center of the ring, trying to determine what happened.
