I agree with everything you said... except maybe Rose being better than a healthy, focused Rondo. Rondo's problem is he KNOWS he's good, and he coasts sometimes.
Where I think the Bulls will have trouble is on offense... they don't have alot of weapons... I don't like Boozer much more than Bosh, and Deng is streaky.
I'd love to be wrong, mind you, as I love Thibideau, but I will be slightly surprised.
It's really just a shame Rondo go hurt and the rest of the C's suddenly felt their age.. I was DYING for a Celts-Bulls rematch.. the first round series they had a couple years ago definitely was at least in the running for the best series EVER.

Lets get specific then.
D-Rose MVP>Rondo
I agree with Rondo losing focus, which you can not say the same for Rose.
Put Rose on the Celtics. Number one seed and still in the playoffs.
Put Rondo on the Bulls. Maybe a .500 team and most of those wins because of Defense.
I'm not discounting Rondo. He's come a long way. But Rose is greater.
I wanted to see the Celtics beat the Heat. I never want to see the Heat win all because of James. And another Celtics/Bulls series would have been some nice games....maybe not as exciting as a few years ago but still good.
So it's up to the post-Jordan Bulls to take a title away from The Heat; cause I don't think a West team can beat them.

I was enjoying Memphis' run, but now I think I'd like to see OKC go to the finals.. I share the Labron hate and think they're the only team that has a chance to beat them... the Mavs have some bad choking history and no one who can guard Wade, and I'm just not sold on the Bulls at all. The Mavs beat Miami in both regular season meetings, they're the best option to beat the Heat in the finals.

I think the Thunder would obliterate the Heat in the finals. You're talking Perkins and Durant going low on the Heats front court all day. That could get ugly fast for the Heat.

Did I just read wildfire insinuate that Rondo is on par with D-Rose. Man, Rondo can't carry his jock.
First, Trish is old and ugly. Now Rondo is in the same Category as Rose. Lay off the crack 'fire.

I can see where he's coming from. Rondo can look like a world beater at times. He just wilts when the game is really on the line.

I don't think it's that he wilts under pressure... did you see game 3 of the Heat series? He lead a comeback WITH ONE ARM. When he's focused and driving to the basket, he's the best point guard in the league... period. Better than Rose, Paul or anyone. Sadly, he knows it, and only gives that effort about 1/2 the time. I'm saying if he could manage to play that way all the time, he'd have been the MVP. Rose plays at that high level most games, and that's the big difference. Incidently, no way he should have been MVP, IMO... I'd have taken Dirk first, Dwight Howard 2nd, prolly Rose third. Rose got the props because the TNT guys pushed him to the moon. I'm not sure Rose on the Celts would work.. he's not a pass first guy... he maybe could adapt, but it's not a sure thing. Rondo on the Bulls would be interesting. It would get Deng another 5 pts a game in transition, I'd imagine, but they'd probably not have enough scoring, so you probably right there, they wouldn't be as good. Admittedly, Rose torched Rondo head to head this year... which was odd... last couple years it was the teams with good point guards Rondo was up for... this year that was not the case. @ Book: I'm not sure your boy Dirk can handle pressure... winning in the regular season doesn't mean you can win in the playoffs... ask LeBron about that .

Dirk should've been MVP. The Mavs are a one man team as literally, their only scoring option on the floor is Dirk. It's just cool to hate on him in the media so he didn't get any steam as the MVP.
Howard had no business being in the talk. He's a weak willed center. Beat on him a little and he'll settle for 20 footers all night instead of driving to the basket like a player of his physical assets should.

I think he does... if you watch Orlando... they completely fall to pieces when he's out of the game.
Could he be 1000X better if he, like, tried and stuff? Absolutely. That doesn't make him less valuable to the Magic, though.

OKC/Memphis series tied 3-3......not a sure thing OKC gets out of this round. I think they do have more talent over all. But anything can happen in one game. Although I do think OKC will win. No way Durant shits the bed 2 games in a row.

Always nice to see "Bulls rout Heat in opener" first thing you see when you go online. 3 more to go.

I will just redo the whole post instead of editing it 10 times lol. Game 2 was a pretty boring game up until the last 6:20..........Dallas down by 15........ They come back and take the lead with 93-90. Chalmers hits a 3 with about 24 seconds left to make it a 93-93 game. Should be an interesting finish. Miami gives up a layup to Nowitzki with 3 seconds left, and then Wade misses a running 25 foot shot at the buzzer for the win. Series is 1-1 now. Hopefully Dallas can build on this game. Dirk scored the last 9 for the Mavs. Pretty amazing the Heat gave up that big of a run at the end of the game.

I'm hoping this loss deflates the Heat. I can't stand them and I don't want to see them beat a team I like.

Dirk gets his ring and the haters have to shut their mouths. LeBron is still a choker no matter who his teammates are.
