Announced on Facebook last night there will be a Monday night announcement for Legends online. I'm interested in seeing the three new cards but the only way I'm going to buy them if there's some way to get them without having to buy more sets. Legends online is cool and everything it's just that I don't want to drop a lot of money on something I'm not going to use much.

Well, we already know the 3 cards are Race, Snuka, & Heenan. We'll see what they actually announce things.

That picture of Snuka looks like he is about to pinch a loaf. Well, at least those of us who already have those sets wont have to pay for them.

That pic looks like the hair was drawn onto the photograph.

I must say, I do not like online exclusives. Same with the promoter exclusives. Reward the people that purchase these, fine. But allow those that don't to get a pdf version a few months down the road.

Yeah, I agree... I've never understood the marketing strategy there. I really don't think 3 alternate sets of stats is really enough of an incentive to get someone to buy that isn't already buying.. it could get a person or two that's on the fence, I suppose, but that's it.
OTOH, lots of people would probably pay $5 for a PDF (make a 4th guy to have it fill the page, and you're good)... i'd think that would make FG more money, and thus incent them to make more cards.
It also gives me a bad vibe when Tom tells you how great he is for giving you these 3 cards if you already bought the cards from him twice (once online and once in cardstock for most people)... nice things are less nice when you gloat about how nice they are, IMO.

That picture of Snuka looks like he is about to pinch a loaf. LOL. That is one of the best posts I have read in awhile. It made my day. And after seeing the pic in question, very appropriate. The pic looks like something out of a bad 70's sitcom.

I'm at the point I'm happy with the releases we get via official cardstock and care less about different versions of wrestlers exclusive for online or promoter, because I'm not buying an online product that I already own in the table top format all over again to get bonus cards. It's fine for others if they want online and the bonus cards, I'll make mine CARD STOCK...

With space and time being a factor for me playing these days it comes in handy. Though I now have desktop with all the releases (except L10) so Legendsonline's usefulness has slipped a couple of notches for me.

I think the big concern with PDF files is that that they'll lose money because people will just pass the file to others for free. The PDF file thing probably wont change unless they can figure out a way for people who paid for the file to print it out without downloading it
