Yeah, it's weird... I didn't think 'Tec should be up to 1000 yet... I wonder what they're goin' for then.. just the 27 thing?
Batman '66 is pretty fun.. I got the first couple of the actual printed comic. I don't need to get it every month, but I'll probably pick it up now and then.

King Tut is the villain for the current arc. I grab the digital copies. 99 cents isn't a bad price. I also grab Justice League and Batman Beyond as digitals.

I just don't like the digital thing... I'm happy to wait for the print version. Batman/JL Beyond is really good, btw. I'm surely tempted by the current Iron Man digital series though... sounds great.

The Marvel Infinite books are awesome and such a unique experience as far as comics go.

I agree with you. I've always been in favor of print comics all the way. I made an exception for the new WWE book because there was no one nearby selling it and I didn't want to wait for a physical copy to arrive to read it. Also, the $1.99 price was not bad. I read a couple others because they were free. I cannot understand paying full print price for the right to read a digital copy of a book, though. I'll use a service like comixology sparingly, and in most cases I'll buy print comics or wait for TPBs.

I buy digital comics exclusively. Only 3 or so a month. I love them. No more storage issues. That's the biggest factor for me.

That's a great reason to go digital if you're just interested in reading them; all of those boxes take up a lot of space. My problem is the idea of paying $3.99 for the latest Marvel or DC comic in print, or paying the same price for a digital issue. All you're paying for is the right to look at images of the book on your screen. There's no tangible goods being exchanged so theoretically the price should indicate that. If you think about it you could walk into your local bookstore or comic shop, read the issue in the aisle, and save yourself the money.

I don't buy any books at the print price. I'd say I buy 80% of my stuff on sales. 99 cents and you can get some huge runs on Marvel books especially if you're patient.

See, I like to pay around .99 for the print ones . Obviously, new stuff that doesn't happen (though I've done well of late in $1 bins at local stores/shows). For back issues, those sales are nice, but you can probably do as well on ebay, except for key issues. I think it's great that digital is bringing more people into being comic fans, it's just not for me as it is now. To be honest, I don't even take the time to enter the digital code in the Marvel stuff I buy.. it's effort I'd rather spend reading other books, you know?

I religiously add them. When we went on vacation I loaded about 30 books from my read pile and just read them on my tablet. It was awesome.

I started reading Post-Crisis Superman. So I've knocked the following titles off the list so far:
Man of Steel #1-6 Superman #1-4 Adventures of Superman #424-426 Action Comics #584-586
Superman isn't my favorite character but I wanted to dive into his mythos. Really digging what I've read so far. The Bryne stuff has been excellent.

After a week or so the price of digital comics drops. I usually read a month or so behind so I'm not always paying full price. Sometimes I do. Don't mind it if it is a book I want to read now.

IF you're interested, one of the regulars (Shaxper, by name) has a review thread for Superman post-crisis... he just finished the Byrne run. He's not a fan, but you might find it an interesting contrast to your own opinions, and I know he's always up for discussion (I'm pretty sure I've seen you post on CBR before...) forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?432111-Superman-in-the-post-Crisis-era-(reviews-by-shaxper)

Yeah, I'm sure I could get into it for new stuff, I just still have trouble wrapping my brain around paying money for bits of data. I did buy my first CD on itunes the other day, so maybe I'll get there eventually. I'm pretty excited about the Invaders series, too. James Robinson was great with DC's classics... I'm sure he'll do the same here.
