I started reading Post-Crisis Superman. So I've knocked the following titles off the list so far: Man of Steel #1-6 Superman #1-4 Adventures of Superman #424-426 Action Comics #584-586 Superman isn't my favorite character but I wanted to dive into his mythos. Really digging what I've read so far. The Bryne stuff has been excellent. IF you're interested, one of the regulars (Shaxper, by name) has a review thread for Superman post-crisis... he just finished the Byrne run. He's not a fan, but you might find it an interesting contrast to your own opinions, and I know he's always up for discussion (I'm pretty sure I've seen you post on CBR before...) forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?432111-Superman-in-the-post-Crisis-era-(reviews-by-shaxper)Yeah, that thread actually motivated me to read these issues. I don't feel comfortable arguing it with long time Supes fans because there's a different level of baggage.

The latest Rush CD, Clockwork Angels... It's pretty good.. better than the last one, not as good as Roll the Bones or Test for Echo.

madddog, Batman '66 was a good recommendation. I'm reading the Joker story, might pick up a few others here and there. I also finally jumped on the Stray Bullets thing a decade or so late since they put the first four issues up on comixology. That's a dark ride, but it's good storytelling. I'll be paying to catch up with that series (the print collections if I can find them).

Read some mid-80s Spidey the last couple days... good stuff, his relationship with Black Cat is always interesting, as are the 80s costumes and clothes.. there's a whole annual around a gang banger named 'Ace' that's really Michael Jackson, which is hilarious.

Comixology is running a sale till January 2nd.
You can get the first 5-6 issues of most of the Marvel Now books for 99 cents each.

After reading issue 1 for free on comixology, I went to Barnes and Noble and picked up Saga volume 1 (collects issues 1-6). I can't recommend this one enough. It's not for the people who are strictly superhero fans, but it's got a nice genre bending mix of sci-fi; fantasy; adventure; satire; and an offbeat humor.
On the superhero front, has anyone read the current Hawkeye series? I keep reading good things about that and it may get me to break my Marvel boycott if it's good enough.

Yes, it's really good. Daredevil, Hawkeye and Superior Foes are probably the best three books from the Big Two right now.

Daredevil is the only title I buy regularly. Well, now that XFactor is done. Loving the art in DD recently too.
Speaking of art, the first few Wolverine & The Xmen (don't think that's the title, the one where he was running the academy) had such great art and they they dropped that artist for far less superior art.

Hawkeye is good for what it is... an indy book shoehorned into a Marvel Character. It's very decompressed, and doesn't really connect to anything else in the Marvel Universe (despite a few guest appearances), but it's a good read by itself. Thor is probably my favorite Marvel book right now, even with the movie-enforced bad guy. I'm looking forward to Avengers Undercover, as well.

That seems like pretty much everything I'd want in a Marvel comic these days.

All New Invaders by James Robinson is starting soon and I'm super excited for that. James Robinson plus Golden Age characters always equals a win.

I just hope none of the Hickman nonsense bleeds into it. @ Mark: There's a HC trade of the first 2 storylines for Hawkeye, which is what I just read. I'd imagine you'd have a hard time finding the singles, since it's what all the cool kids are into right now.
