You may be correct Guest. Of course, now I am curious who you are and who you are referring too as friends we have in common.

As far I know the same people you're usually talking about hang with the same people that you hang with at I-Con at GCON. Eric, TK, Todd etc...I'm pretty sure you have a lot of friends in common. If you were there I'm sure you would blend right in and have fun with everyone. I don't know anyone who has anything but good things to say about you. That's my 2 cents.

Wow, lots of stuff here. a few points: @ Grant : I completely blame Tom for the fake spoiler thing. It's his company. He should have stopped it. He didn't. Anyone who starts taking business advice from a stand-up routine is doomed to fail, IMO. Look at it objectively... at that time, COTG was at it's peak, putting out, what 6 sets that year? (2 GWF, POW, ACE, LOTF, Legends). Now there's two or three. Online has, essentially failed. The e-book thing has failed. If you want a turning point, that was it. I know I'm not the only one who didn't pay that set, and realized I didn't really miss that much. Re: Galacticon: I agree with Havoc.. there's no reason to believe that people who are idiots online would be nice in real life. I'm not saying you can't argue.. I've agrued with Grant, and Mark, and Havoc, and others, and still like them. It's the stupid stuff.. like the pictures, and the personal insults that are too much, IMO. The year I was gonna go, it was mostly to meet BDS, Antimony, and a couple others... the rest of the 'crew' I could do without, unless maybe I could get them on a basketball court and humble them @ Guest: You're more than welcome to be anonymous, but I think, especially in this case, you points would be a heck of a lot more effective if you told us you you are. @ Mike M: Antimony is a VERY long time member of the community.. been around since the beginning, really, and has made alot of contributions to the bootleg world, including some that have since been stolen without permission by the GWFZ. I'll leave it to him if he wants to tell you or not, as he values his privacy. He knows what he's talkin' about

Oh man GWFZ Territories is gonna be sick! Wait until you read Varsity's bio. I'm pretty sure there are more pages devoted to him than any other character in the whole set. Varsity's promos are some of the best ever written. The Classic Underground Hardcore Zone is going to be killer!

You can't tell if they're being completely serious (doubtful) or being intentionally douchy (likely) to try to draw Antimony into a flame war.

Looking forward to the Z set coming out. Maybe it is a good thing I don't know of what all of went on in the community before I joined up. Don't really have a problem with anyone in the community. People have been really nice to me for the most part, but I know others haven't been as lucky. I am a member here, Swarms, and the O board, and everyone on all the boards has been really nice to me, whether it was helping me get bootleg GWF guys from the past or answering any questions I have about the GWF since I really played much since the 2094 set. Getting back into it though with the Z and Classics. Been trying to limit the jokes I make at others expense since stuff I say I just think is in good fun ribbing gets taken personally by some due to all the bad feelings in the community throughout the years that I wasn't really a part of. That is what is better about real life, you can rail on your friends and they can tell you are joking. ;D

Coven Black Varsity may be a vampire semi-official bootleg but just because vampire semi-official bootleg stories/legends on Earth say they can't be in the sun have really long bios, that has NO bearing on this character. He's from Draco GWFZ Territories. It's real easy to me to grasp that, but it seems like it's hard for others to understand. This fed takes place over 100 years in the future and these characters are from all over the galaxy. p.s. Wrong thread.

Twilight said so.

A serious question.........Is Twilight more of a "woman's series"? When the movie came out for Twilight, over half the women at my work were ecstatic and were going to see the movie right away. And all the guys either never heard of it (like me) or didn't give a shit about it.

I haven't read them (as I'm not much of a Vampire fan) but from what I've gathered from the wife, the main crux of the plot is a love story... hence, women tend to dig it more than men.
I do have a couple buddies who are into vampires (guys they do White Wolf LARPing and such) that like it, but I suspect it's for different reasons that the teen girl crowd.
I was gonna read it not that long ago just so I'd know what the hype was about, but I ended up deciding not to bother.
