Paul London did have the line of all time in a backstage segment where he just awkwardly blurts out "I break ankles." I will always hate Paul London for that retarded ass smile backstage in WWE. It was so stupid.

The shit I really love about 2002-2003 is you just never knew who was going to come in and do a few shows.
I grabbed some more stuff and brought my haul to:
Era of Honor Begins Round Robin Challenge Night of Appreciation Road to the Title Unscripted Glory by Honor All Star Extravaganza Expect the Unexpected Round Robin Challenge II
All for $11 or less. It looks like I'm going to have to keep an eye out for Crowning a Champion and Honor Invades Boston. A lot of people seem to think these DVDs are worth $50 because they aren't in print anymore but I haven't had a single issue grabbing shows for pretty cheap prices.

I have to admit. I'm dreading those scramble matches. Something tells me those are going to be really bad.

That something is pretty right on the money. Those matches fucking suck.

Game's structuring of the actual shows was really bad too. He never knew where to place the matches and the shows would just get tedious.
Looking back at those early shows. Daniels really was the break out star of those shows. But he was kind of a hot property at the time. Same as Low Ki. I'm interested to go back to his promos. The early Prophecy stuff was really good.

I like that they built Daniels up as the guy who wouldn't shake hands. In a weird way, it put him and the code of honor over because of how the company was built. If you shook hands, you were respected and if you didn't, you were the biggest asshole ever. Of course as time went on, they dropped that and relaxed the rules of the matches a bit but it's fun to see how the fans reacted to Daniels in that first year.

It's weird seeing fans chirp about the hand shaking now as a great part of the product with no realization that it existed solely for Daniels to break at first.
Like I said, Morgan and Daniels trashing the tag team trophies and Daniels losing his shit about how this isn't Japan is a top 5 RoH moment for me.

Which is weird. I like how Gabe through this pretentious shit out there for the sole purpose of Daniels to shit all over it. It's sad that some of that pretentious crap overtook the indy scene as the decade progressed.

Daniels shitting on Low Ki and Danielson for 'marking out' for Eddie Guerrero is pretty great too. Which is weird. I hope Daniels comes back and acts like a prick. I don't want the Daniels that was around in 2010/2011 and since they're bringing in Bad Influence, there's a good chance we get dickhead Daniels.
Also, they're airing Cedric/Roddy and Steen/Cole from the Toronto NJPW/ROH show this week on TV. Smart of them since both matches directly lead in to the PPV next week.

Daniels has always been kind of a bland face IMO. His best stuff comes as a heel. He'd be great with the Decade if the concept of the group allowed it. It would be great to have someone on tv that can do good promos on a weekly basis.

Daniels is the kind of guy the Decade don't like. He's a former star who's coming back to big fanfare. It's the same reason they attacked AJ.

Yeah, that was my point. But those are the breaks. I'm thinking and Kazarian are going to be an uber bland face team.

They'll probably let them still be Bad Influence like they were in TNA. Anything less would be stupid. That said, I REALLY hope they don't beat reDRagon.
