Ha, maybe. I mean, he's on the 8/10 NJPW show at the Seibu Dome so I'm half-expecting him to retain tonight.

From Court Bauer's twitter. They added a video screen. Apparently they haven't fixed the fucking lighting, though.

AJ Styles cut a promo saying he wanted whoever won this match and regardless he wanted Adam Cole for laying him out in New York. I guess he could be the next challenger while ROH rebuilds Elgin to finally win the title at Final Battle. There's also the chance reDRagon split tonight if they lose the belts and Kyle can finally break the chains and get a serious singles push.

I don't think they can rebuild Elgin with another loss here. I see wanting to do Cole/Styles but they kind of booked themselves into a corner with this match.

I think AJ being in Japan yesterday kind of muddied things too because I was thinking AJ vs. Cole for this show, IWGP Champion vs. ROH Champion and that obviously didn't work. I think Elgin needs the win tonight. He's looking as strong now as he ever has and having Cole beat him runs the risk of putting Elgin into Tyler Black territory and when he's your biggest full time babyface, that's not a good place to be.
But again, Cole's on the G1 Final show. They might want him to be World Champion at that show and there's a good chance New Japan asked for him because he would be champion for that show.

Seleziya Sparx is in Nashville. What are the odds she does a run in, costs Matt Taven the match and it's a better match for having her run in:?

Obviously Cedric Alexander needs an updated card.

Snowflakes. Six man cluster: *** Lethal/Taven: **1/4 Roddy/Cedric: ***1/2 Briscoes/Hardy and Bennett: **** Steen/Silas: ***1/4 reDRagon/Daniels and Kaz: ****1/4 Elgin/Cole: ****1/2
Maybe not show of the year or anything like that, but very far from being a waste of time and money. The two top matches were great, Cedric/Roddy told a good story, the Briscoes match was awesome if you're into hardcore matches. The only thing that was kind of meh was Lethal/Taven and I expected that going in.
Buy the damn replay.

This show seems like a rare instance where a company made all the right decisions on a show. I can't think of the last time that happened.
