CARD 34: LIVE T.A.G. TV Show Taping, Saturday January 5, 2008 @ the AGGANIS ARENA -- Boston MA Ted DiBiase came out to the ring before the first match and talked to the crowd: “As some of you morons are not aware, that idiot Schyster has left the New Money Incorporated. So, by invitation only, I am looking for a new member to fill the vacancy. The next two matches will feature four of the wrestlers that are in the tournament. They all have a chance to join me in my group. The winner will be determined in the finals on the next fight card. May the best wrestler win, and remember: you will be richly rewarded only IF you win it all! The rest of you get SQUAT!”
MATCH 1: TED ARCIDI VS GINO HERNANDEZ Using power moves to try to secure the win, Arcidi gained an advantage early in the match. However, he got a bit reckless and was DQed to lose the match, giving Hernandez the win. Arcidi was disqualified in a time of 2:49.
MATCH 2: MIKE GEORGE VS BROCK LESNAR Brock easily dismantled his foe in this match, gaining the win on his second pin attempt. Lesnar pins George on a Release Suplex in a time of 4:12.
MATCH 3: RICK MCGRAW VS RENE GOULET (with Bulldog Brower) This match was all Goulet, as he went on to use his finisher three times to get the win. Goulet wins with his finisher-SCORPION CLAWHOLD in a time of 6:14.
MATCH 4: MAGNUM T.A. & RON GARVIN VS BULLDOG BROWER & MOUNTIE The Mountie was in control of the match once Magnum T.A. missed a deathjump. The Mountie then used his finisher to inflict more damage to Magnum. Brower was tagged in, but then there was a miraculous comeback from Magnum, as he went on to get a surprising pinfall win! Magnum T.A. & Garvin win when Magnum pins Brower with a Cross Body Block in a time of 10:17.
MATCH 5: TERRY TAYLOR VS TED DIBIASE (with Rick Rude) An easy match for DiBiase, as he went on to a solid victory. Ted DiBiase wins with his finisher-MILLION DOLLAR DREAM in a time of 6:42.
MATCH 6: T.A.G. TEAM CHAMPS FRANK GOTCH & BRUNO SAMMARTINO VS THE CONQUISTADORS -- NON-TITLE No one is sure how the Conquistadors became the Number One Contenders, but they were granted a non-title match against the T.A.G. Team Champions anyway. After several switches by the Conquistadors, Gotch & Sammartino went to work on Conquistador 1. Sammartino got a couple of pin attempts on him, then tagged in Gotch. Gotch immediately went for his finisher, which turned out to be enough to win this non-title bout. Frank Gotch & Sammartino win when Gotch used his finisher-GOTCH TOEHOLD on Conquistador 1 in a time of 18:55.
MATCH 7: TITO SANTANA VS "IRON" MIKE DIBIASE Tito wasted no time getting his first victory in T.A.G.! Santana gets the pin with a Flying Crossbody in a time of 0:51.
MATCH 8: T.A.G. TELEVISION CHAMP RANDY SAVAGE (with Elizabeth) VS NIKITA KOLOFF (with Skandar Akbar) -- NON-TITLE Early on, Savage took control of the match getting pin attempt after pin attempt on the big Russian, but could not put him away for the win. Koloff fought back and used his finisher once against the Champ, but it was not enough to pull out the victory either. After battling hard and long against his challenger, Savage was DQed, giving Koloff the win. Savage was disqualified for Piledriving Koloff through the announce table in a time of 27:39, thus Koloff receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 9: PAT PATTERSON VS "RAVISHING" RICK RUDE Both wrestlers were disqualified in a time of 6:39.
MATCH 10: T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP MANNY FERNANDEZ VS SGT SLAUGHTER -- NON-TITLE Manny got the first pin attempt of the match, but then it was all Slaughter after that. Narrowly escaping the dreaded Cobra Clutch, Fernandez decided to get himself DQed to end the match. Fernandez was disqualified in a time of 4:54, thus Slaughter receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!

CARD 35: LIVE T.A.G. TV Show Taping, Monday January 7, 2008 @ the MATTHEWS ARENA -- Boston MA MATCH 1: "QUICKDRAW" RICK MCGRAW VS THE MOUNTIE McGraw started out with two fast pin attempts, sending the Mountie reeling early on. Regaining his composure, the Mountie came back and resorted to his Shock Stick for the victory. The Mountie wins with his finisher-SHOCK STICK in a time of 9:52.
MATCH 2: TITO SANTANA VS "MILLION DOLLAR MAN" TED DIBIASE DiBiase was not about to let Santana get a quick victory the way he did in his first match. After working on Santana to gain the advantage, DiBiase went for his finisher twice, but Santana would not give up. Tito fought back hard, and hit DiBiase with his finisher twice! Ted was in trouble, and Mike DiBiase ran to the ring and interfered, causing Ted to be DQed. Ted DiBiase was disqualified when Mike DiBiase interfered in a time of 7:31.
MATCH 3: CACTUS JACK VS MIKE GEORGE George got the advantage first with a bearhug, followed by his finisher. Cactus took the action outside the ring, and most of the action took place there. When they got back in the ring, Cactus hit his finisher, but George managed to kick out of the pin attempt. As the match got more heated, it ended up outside the ring again. The ref DQed Cactus to end the match. Cactus Jack was disqualified in a time of 15:59.
MATCH 4: MAGNUM T.A. & RON GARVIN VS THE CONQUISTADORS Garvin started out with a Boston Crab that almost got the submission. Using his finisher after that almost got the pinfall. Magnum T.A. & Garvin win when Magnum used his finisher-BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX on Conquistador # 2 in a time of 11:24.

MATCH 6: PAT PATTERSON VS "RAVISHING" RICK RUDE In a rematch from last card that ended in a double-DQ, Rick Rude wanted to prove he was the better man. Rude was, at least on this night! Patterson looked lifeless in the ring, as Rude pounded on him and set him up for the win with his finisher. Rude pins Patterson with his finisher-RUDE AWAKENING in a time of 3:37.
MATCH 7: FRANK GOTCH & PEDRO MORALES VS BULLDOG BROWER & RENE GOULET Brower used power moves to take the advantage over Gotch as the match started. Brower may have gotten a bit too over-confident as the match progressed, as he tried brawling tactics to beat down his opponent. The ref DQed Brower to give the match to Gotch & Morales. Frank Gotch & Morales win when Brower was disqualified in a time of 5:29.
MATCH 8: TERRY TAYLOR VS TED ARCIDI Terry Taylor was on fire right from the opening bell! Two quick finishers was all he needed to secure a victory over the T.A.G. General Manager! Taylor wins with his finisher in a time of 1:11.
MATCH 9: T.A.G. TELEVISION CHAMP RANDY SAVAGE VS NIKITA KOLOFF -- TITLE BOUT When Savage missed Koloff and ran head-first into the buckle, Koloff took over and looked like he was in control. Koloff went for his finisher too, but Savage kicked out of it. Taking the action outside the ring turned out to be a mistake, as the referee DQed Koloff to end the match. Koloff was disqualified in a time of 7:34.
MATCH 10: GINO HERNANDEZ VS BROCK LESNAR -- TOURNEY FINALS FOR A SPOT IN THE NEW MONEY INC. With the rest of Money Inc looking on from ringside, Lesnar dismantled Hernandez with several power moves, which included his finisher. Gino Hernandez simply could not survive the sheer power of his opponent, and Brock Lesnar went on to celebrate his victory, and his new membership in their group, with the rest of Money Inc inside the ring after the match was over. Lesnar pinned Hernandez with a Power Bomb in the time of 4:01.
MATCH 11: T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP MANNY FERNANDEZ VS SGT SLAUGHTER -- TITLE BOUT Several Raging Bulldozers from Manny Fernandez had Sergeant Slaughter reeling early on. Manny Fernandez went for the win with one of them, but Nikita Koloff raced to ringside, only to be met with a Noggin Knocker! Fernandez could not get the pin with this though. Sergeant Slaughter took over, then hit a number of Slaughter Cannons to weaken "The Raging Bull". Slaughter almost gained the victory with his finisher, but Magnum T.A. came to ringside and helped Fernandez out of the hold. Slaughter was getting frustrated, not able to gain the victory with any of his big moves. Sergeant Slaughter went on the get himself DQed to end the match. Slaughter was disqualified in a time of 16:28.

You have a strict referee in T.A.G., either that or you have a lot of rulebreakers who don't care about getting caught. You need Blind Pew in there to ref, he let's a lot of infractions slide

[glow=limegreen,2,300][/glow] CARD 39: PPV on Monday January 21, 2008 @ the DCU Center -- Worcester, MA Cactus Jack was in the ring before the first bout of the night. "As you all know, I have a mystery partner tonight to help me against the team of Koloff & Slaughter. You know him quite well, since he has been in T.A.G. now for some time. I would like to bring him out here, if I may. (The entrance music for Leif Cassidy blared on the PA as Cassidy joined Cactus in the ring.) "You know, we've been friends for a while now, and I just can't stand by as your career goes down the crapper. Team up with me tonight, and ditch that lousy 'Cassidy' character once and for all." Cassidy thought for a moment and answered, "I will team up with you tonight, old buddy. But unless we win, I will REMAIN Cassidy, at least for the time being." (Cactus was not too pleased with this but agreed.) "Okay. But if we win, you will go back to being Al Snow. And don't you give me a hard time about it either!"
MATCH 1: RICK MCGRAW VS MIKE GEORGE Mike George had little trouble with "Quickdraw". After using his finisher, and a series of Body Stomps, Mike got the pin with his next big move off the top rope. George pins with a Cross Body Press in a time of 1:40.

MATCH 3: LEIF CASSIDY & CACTUS JACK VS NIKITA KOLOFF & SGT SLAUGHTER (with Skandar Akbar) As the match started out, Cactus Jack gained the upper hand quickly against Slaughter. It was obvious the Sarge was in trouble, but Slaughter's partner, Koloff, made no effort to help out his tag team partner in the match. This was noticed by Cactus and he took advantage of it, securing the win for his team by using a fast finisher on his opponent, which was enough for the win. Cactus Jack & Cassidy win when Cactus Jack pins Slaughter with his finisher-DOUBLE ARM DDT in a time of 2:21.
MATCH 4: KARL GOTCH VS “IRON” MIKE DIBIASE Mike DiBiase got the upset by making Karl Gotch submit to an Abdominal Stretch in a time of 8:52.
MATCH 5: PEDRO MORALES VS GINO HERNANDEZ It was a back-and-forth match all the way, until Pedro got the advantage and saw an opening to use his finisher, which was enough to get Morales a victory in this hard-fought match. Morales wins with his finisher-BOSTON CRAB in a time of 9:45.
MATCH 6: T.A.G. TEAM CHAMPIONS FRANK GOTCH & BRUNO SAMMARTINO VS MAGNUM T.A. & RON GARVIN -- TITLE BOUT Magnum got the first pin attempt of the match against Gotch. Gotch quickly tagged out to Sammartino. Bruno got the next pin attempt, but Magnum came back with his finisher, almost getting the pin on Bruno! Magnum tagged out to Garvin, but that proved to be a mistake, as Sammartino slapped his finisher on Garvin for the win to remain T.A.G. Team Champs! Frank Gotch & Bruno Sammartino win when Garvin submits to Sammartino's finisher-BEARHUG in a time of 17:10.
MATCH 7: TITO SANTANA VS THE MOUNTIE Although Santana looked good in the early part of the bout, The Mountie unleashed his finisher twice on Tito, which was more than enough to get him the victory. The Mountie wins by using his finisher-SHORT-ARM CHOKESLAM two times in a row in a time of 4:02.
MATCH 8: T.A.G. TELEVISION CHAMP RANDY SAVAGE (with Elizabeth) VS RICK RUDE -- TITLE BOUT Savage used his finisher early in hopes of ending this match quickly. Unfortunately for Savage, it DID end early, but it was Rick Rude that had his hand raised at the end of the bout! Rude pins Savage with his finisher-RUDE AWAKENING in a time of 1:24, thus Rick Rude becomes the NEW T.A.G. Television Champion!
MATCH 9: PAT PATTERSON VS TED DIBIASE -- STEEL CAGE There was bad blood between these two ever since Patterson had defeated DiBiase for the North American Belt, on his way to becoming the WWF's first-ever Intercontinental Champion. DiBiase made it known that he wanted revenge, and it was clear from the start that this match was all DiBiase. Patterson took a beating in the cage as DiBiase was clearly dominant inside the ring. Ted went for his finisher a total of three times, with the third time being the charm. Ted DiBiase wins after using his finisher-MILLION DOLLAR DREAM in a time of 6:33.
Before the final match of the night, Sgt Slaughter made his way to the ring and proceeded to get something off his chest that had been bothering him: "Koloff! You Russian slime! You Commie maggot! You cost me the match tonight! Akbar and I don't need a loser like you on our team, so you have been voted OFF! You are no longer part of Akbar's Army!" (The crowd did not know how to react to this.) "And as for these fans, you are all slime! You want Koloff, you can HAVE him. He couldn't win a match if his life depended on it!" (On the giant viewscreen, Koloff was shown lying somewhere backstage in a pool of his own blood, bleeding profusely from his forehead.) "Consider THAT a dishonorable discharge!" Slaughter left the ring as the crowd continued to boo him as he left.
MATCH 10: T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION MANNY FERNANDEZ VS BROCK LESNAR (BEST 2-OUT-OF-3 FALLS, NO DQ, NO COUNT-OUT) -- TITLE BOUT
FIRST FALL: Manny started out knowing he needed a quick offense to defeat the stronger Lesnar. Manny got as many pin attempts as he could (three) before Lesnar mounted an attack. This strategy worked for Fernandez, as he went on to get the first fall of the championship match. Fernandez pins with a Face-First Slam and wins the first fall in a time of 11:23.
SECOND FALL: Fernandez wins with his finisher-FLYING BURRITO in a time of just 0:19, thus Manny retains the T.A.G. Heavyweight Belt by winning two-falls-to-none!
T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Manny Fernandez T.A.G. TELEVISION CHAMPION: "Ravishing" Rick Rude T.A.G. TEAM CHAMPIONS: Frank Gotch & Bruno Sammartino
