Jack nailed Madril not once, but twice, with his finisher, and Jack went on to win the match for his team. Cactus Jack & Al Snow win when Cactus used his finisher-DOUBLE ARM DDT on Madril in a time of 7:03.
MATCH 9: NUMBER ONE CONTENDER BOUT FOR THE T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP -- ULTIMATE WARRIOR VS THE ROCK The last match between these two was a classic five-star match! [glow=yellow,2,300][/glow] CARD 57: Pay-Per-View on Monday March 31, 2008 @ the TD Banknorth Garden -- Boston, MA DARK MATCH 1: "QUICKDRAW" RICK MCGRAW VS "MILLION DOLLAR MAN" TED DIBIASE McGraw looked ready to win with an upset as he nailed DiBiase twice with his finisher. Another pin attempt on Ted DiBiase and DiBiase looked like he was about to lose. However, Ted came back with a pin attempt out of nowhere, then used his finisher to weaken his opponent. One more big move from DiBiase was all that he needed to thwart McGraw's plans of an upset. Ted DiBiase wins with a Backward Elbow off the ropes in a time of 7:27.
DARK MATCH 2: MIKE GEORGE VS AL MADRIL (with Ted Arcidi) This match was all Madril. One pin attempt and two finishers later, Madril got the win. Madril wins with his finisher-INDIAN DEATHLOCK in a time of 5:28.
As the broadcast of the Pay-Per-View started, The Rock was inside the ring with a microphone in his hand. He looked as intense as always, and he obviously had something to say. "Finally... The Rock has come back to Boston!" Pausing for the crowd's negative reaction, The Rock continued. "It seems that The Rock is beating every jabroni in this federation and still does not get a title shot. The Rock had a very rare off-night against the Ultimate Warrior, so he is out of luck tonight. It's time for The Rock to form a team, that's right. Form the greatest team this federation has ever seen! But who will be The Rock's teammate? Mick Foley?" The crowd cheered at the name, but The Rock shook his head. "No. Been there, done that. Should The Rock join Ted DiBiase's New Money Inc stable?" The crowd reacted negatively. "No, even though The Rock had been offered a king's ransom... a SCORPION king's ransom," The Rock punned. "And then, it hit The Rock: It was time to get revenge on the Ultimate Warrior for causing him to lose out on the heavyweight title shot here at the pay-per-view, and who in T.A.G. knows more about the Ultimate Warrior than my new tag partner? None other than -- "Macho Man" Randy Savage!" Savage came to the ring with his theme music playing, and with Elizabeth at his side. "Ooooooo yeah! Dig it!" Savage said as he greeted The Rock. "Thank you, Rock, for choosing me as a teammate! We are going to go a long ways as a team, and this day is the first day of the last days of the Ultimate Warrior!"
MATCH 1: JIMMY GARVIN (with Precious) VS RANDY SAVAGE In a longer match than anticipated, these two went at it with pure intensity and fire! Savage seemed to be in control at the beginning of the match, garnering two pin attempts. He then hit his finisher, and Garvin looked done for, but Precious made sure her man was not going to lose in this manner. Gathering up some steam, Garvin managed a comeback and almost got a pinfall win against Savage, but it was not meant to be. Savage came back and then won by count-out. Jimmy Garvin was counted-out in a time of 18:50.
MATCH 2: CACTUS JACK & AL SNOW VS TED ARCIDI & AL PEREZ Cactus Jack got the first pin attempt of the match against Arcidi. Cactus then tagged in Snow, and Snow used his finisher on Arcidi. Al Perez managed to save his partner, and then tagged Arcidi. Perez went to work against Snow right away, getting a quick pin attempt. Sensing the moment was right to strike, Al Perez wrapped on his finisher on Snow, and it was over! Ted Arcidi & Al Perez win when Perez used his finisher-SPINNING TOEHOLD on Snow in a time of 11:48.
MATCH 3: T.A.G. WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL -- LEILANI KAI VS TAI "KILLER" WEED (with Jazz) Leilani used her finisher on Tai "Killer" Weed and seemed to have the match won. The referee had noticed that Weed's foot was on the rope, but Leilani did not see it! Leilani retrieved the Belt and celebrated in the ring, not knowing the match was still going on. Jazz came in and took the Belt from her, then hit Leilani with the Belt! Tai rolled up Leilani for the victory, and won the Belt! Tai Weed wins with a roll-up in a time of 1:08 and is crowned the first T.A.G. Women's Champion!
MATCH 4: STEVIE RICHARDS VS RHINO -- STEEL CAGE Richards was in complete control the whole match. Rhino found it difficult to come back from a pin attempt and two finishers from Richards, and fell to Richards on the second finisher. Stevie Richards wins with his finisher-STEVIE KICK in a time of 7:33.
MATCH 5: T.A.G TEAM CHAMPIONS FRANK GOTCH & BRUNO SAMMARTINO VS MIKE DIBIASE & BROCK LESNAR -- TITLE BOUT Lesnar was no match for Sammartino in the early going. Sammartino used both his finishers on his opponent in the first minute of the match, followed by a submission hold. Bruno was confident Gotch could finish the job and tagged him in. Lesnar recovered quickly and got a fast pin attempt on Frank Gotch. He followed this up with his finisher and, by the smallest fraction of inches, did not get the pin! Lesnar needed to tag out by then, and Mike DiBiase continued the assault. Mike nearly got the win on a pin attempt too, but Gotch barely managed to kick out in time. In comes Sammartino on the tag, and Bruno had had enough of his opponents. Bruno got a pin attempt on DiBiase, and then used his finisher to win this hard-fought, exciting match! Gotch & Sammartino win when Bruno uses his finisher-BACKBREAKER on Mike DiBiase in a time of 7:28, thus Gotch & Sammartino retain the T.A.G. Team Belts!
MATCH 6: "HANDS OF STONE" RON GARVIN VS THE ROCK It was all fun and games for The Rock this match, as he was simply toying with Garvin the whole time. The Rock was on offense almost the entire match and easily got the win. The Rock wins with a Noggin Knocker in a time of 9:00.
MATCH 7: T.A.G. TELEVISION CHAMPION "RUSSIAN NIGHTMARE" NIKITA KOLOFF VS PEDRO MORALES -- TITLE BOUT Nikita showed his championship heart as he fought a hard match against Morales. Koloff seemed in control in the match, but Morales kept coming back despite suffering a pin attempt and Koloff using his finisher on him. Mostly out of frustration, Morales got himself DQed to end the match. Morales was disqualified in a time of 7:04, thus Nikita Koloff retains the T.A.G. Television Belt!
MATCH 8: MAGNUM T.A. VS RICK RUDE (with Ted DiBiase) These two exchanged pin attempts during the match. The rest of the match seemed pretty even until Rick Rude was able to hit his finisher. Magnum's tag partner, Nikita Koloff, ran to ringside and disrupted the three-count, getting Magnum T.A. DQed in the process. Magnum T.A. was disqualified when Nikita Koloff interfered in a time of 14:19.
MATCH 9: T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION MANNY FERNANDEZ VS ULTIMATE WARRIOR -- Two-of-Three Falls bout, No DQ, No Count-out -- TITLE BOUT
First Fall -- The Ultimate Warrior came to play! Quickly, Warrior got the first fall. Warrior wins the first fall with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS & SPLASH in a time of 1:06.
Second Fall -- The Ultimate Warrior nearly got the win with a pin attempt early, but Fernandez managed to kick out in time. Fernandez had a slight comeback, nailing his finisher but not getting the pinfall from it. The time had come for the Warrior to go all-out, so he hit his finisher twice and went on to win the second fall with relative ease to capture the T.A.G. Heavyweight Belt for the first time! Warrior wins with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS & SPLASH in a time of 6:27, thus Warrior wins the second fall and is crowned the NEW T.A.G. Heavyweight Champion! Just as the Ultimate Warrior started to celebrate his victory, The Rock and Randy Savage came racing down to ringside and proceeded to dish out a beating on the new champion! Both dressing rooms cleared out as a massive brawl ensued, and the cameras faded to black...
T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Ultimate Warrior T.A.G. TELEVISION CHAMPION: "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff T.A.G. TEAM CHAMPIONS: Frank Gotch & Bruno Sammartino T.A.G. WOMEN'S CHAMPION: Tai "Killer" Weed
