MATCH 4: "QUICKDRAW" RICK MCGRAW VS THE ROCK This time, The Rock did not under-estimate his opponent, although that did not help him much in the early going. Garvin fought back and almost got the win with his own finisher! Rude came roaring back and nailed Garvin again with his finisher, this time getting the victory with the move. Rude wins with his finisher-RUDE AWAKENING in a time of 11:57.
MATCH 9: "RUSSIAN NIGHTMARE" NIKITA KOLOFF (with Magnum T.A.) VS SERGEANT SLAUGHTER Koloff showed no mercy and no quarter against his former partner. CARD 45: LIVE T.A.G. TV Show Taping, Monday February 18, 2008 @ the Meehan Auditorium -- Providence, RI MATCH 1: RON GARVIN (with Manny Fernandez) VS CONQUISTADOR # 1 Garvin was in full control most of the match, hooking in a submission hold, getting a pin attempt, and using his finisher weakened his foe. Conquistador # 1 got the upper hand for a moment, but then crashed to the mat after missing a Deathjump, giving Garvin the win. Ron Garvin pins Conquistador # 1 when Conquistador # 1 missed a Deathjump in a time of 10:35.
MATCH 2: FRANK GOTCH (with Bruno Sammartino) VS RENE GOULET Goulet was on fire right from the opening bell! A quick pin attempt, followed by the use of his finisher THREE times put Gotch on the defensive. Bruno Sammartino, who accompanied Frank Gotch to ringside, did not wish to see his tag partner lose by pin or submission, and interfered in the match to give Rene Goulet the win by disqualification in a rather quick match. Rene Goulet wins when Frank Gotch was disqualified when Bruno Sammartino interfered in the match in a time of 3:07.
MATCH 3: NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS FOR THE T.A.G. TEAM BELT -- MAGNUM T.A. & NIKITA KOLOFF VS MIKE DIBIASE & BROCK LESNAR Magnum T.A. and Mike DiBiase were the men in the ring as this match started. Neither could gain the advantage against the other, and Magnum T.A. soon tagged in Nikita Koloff. Mike DiBiase went to work on Nikita Koloff, severely hurting him with a Piledriver. Mike DiBiase then followed this up with his finisher, and that was enough for his team to get the victory! Mike DiBiase & Brock Lesnar win when Mike DiBiase pins Koloff with his finisher-TOP ROPE KNEEDROP in a time of 4:52, thus Mike DiBiase & Lesnar receive a Title Bout at the T.A.G. Team Champions at the PPV!
MATCH 4: ULTIMATE WARRIOR VS CONQUISTADOR # 2 Conquistador # 2 surprised Warrior with a fast pin attempt following a Piledriver, but then the momentum after was all Warrior. Conquistador survived two pin attempts after Warrior used his finisher twice on him. However, he could not survive a third as Warrior went on to win the match. Warrior wins with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS & SPLASH in a time of 3:28.
MATCH 5: NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR THE T.A.G. TELEVISION BELT -- "MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE VS SGT SLAUGHTER In a surprisingly quick match, Savage got the pinfall following a Running Knee to Back in a time of 1:46, thus Randy Savage receives a Title Bout at the T.A.G. Television Champion at the PPV!
MATCH 6: "QUICKDRAW" RICK MCGRAW VS MIKE GEORGE McGraw was clearly the aggressor in this match. Two pin attempts and three finishers was all that "Quickdraw" needed to put George away for the pinfall victory. McGraw got the win with his finisher-FLYING BODYPRESS in a time of 5:42.
MATCH 7: NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR THE T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT BELT -- PEDRO MORALES VS TED DIBIASE Starting out by using his finisher three times in a row, Ted DiBiase had the match in total control. Pedro had control for a short time when DiBiase missed a Deathjump, but Ted came back and took advantage of a critical mistake made by his opponent to secure the win. Ted DiBiase pins Pedro when Pedro ran head-first into the turnbuckle in a time of 10:43, thus DiBiase receives a Title Bout against the T.A.G. Heavyweight Champion at the PPV!
MATCH 8: TERRY TAYLOR VS THE ROCK The Rock wins with his finisher-ROCK BOTTOM in a time of 2:07.
After the quick victory by The Rock, the arena's video screen lit up with an image of the Ultimate Warrior. It was an obvious pre-taped message since the Warrior was standing in the ring with no one in the audience. Warrior started, "He who has challenged the Ultimate Warrior, heed my words! I have been sent down from the Heavens above to accept your challenge! The road to ultimate destruction is a path through you, as the gods above command! 'Deal or No Deal', that is the question set before me! The answer is deal!... Deal!... DEAL!!" The video faded as the Warrior shook the ropes up and down just like he always does when he psyches himself up.
MATCH 9: T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION "RAGING BULL" MANNY FERNANDEZ VS TED ARCIDI -- TITLE BOUT Taking it to Fernandez, Arcidi got the first pin attempt of the match. He then followed this up by using his finisher twice on Manny, but Fernandez barely escaped. Out of nowhere, the Champion hit his finisher and surprised Arcidi enough to get the victory! Manny Fernandez wins with his finisher-FLYING BURRITO in a time of 5:23 to retain the T.A.G. Heavyweight Belt!
T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Manny Fernandez T.A.G. TELEVISION CHAMPION: "Ravishing" Rick Rude T.A.G. Yeah, WF, it surprised me too![glow=red,2,300][/glow] CARD 46: Pay-Per-View on Friday February 22, 2008 @ the Conte Forum -- Chestnut Hills, MA The Rock was in the ring with a microphone in his hand. He was wearing a parka with the hood up. "Finally... The Rock has come back... to Chestnut Hills! The snow is coming down hard out there, people, but The Rock knows his role. The Ultimate Warrior is to be served up tonight, with all the trimmings! And..." The crowd chanted back at him, "Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold!" The Rock removed the hood and unzipped the parka as he replied, "No, The Rock won't talk about his opponent at Deuce's Wild 2! The Rock is not afraid of Stone Cold Steve Austin! The Rock has already proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he can beat Stone Cold one, two, three!" The crowd reacted to that negatively. The Rock turned his attention back to the Ultimate Warrior. "Warrior, you are probably backstage right now, eating your pre-match meal. What have you on your plate, Warrior? Did you order from The Colonel? Are you sitting back there with wings and legs and breasts? Yeah, The Rock could smell that KFC all the way down to the ring! And now, The Rock says he wants you to take the biggest, juiciest, greasiest piece you can find, turn it sideways, and shove it straight up your candyass! If ya smelllllllllllll.... what The Rock... is cooking!"
MATCH 1: PEDRO MORALES VS CONQUISTADOR # 2 In a match that Morales dominated, Pedro had a fine night as he had one pin attempt and used his finisher three times to go on to win the first match of the Pay-Per-View. Morales wins with his finisher-BOSTON CRAB in a time of 10:48.
MATCH 2: “HANDS OF STONE” RON GARVIN VS RENE GOULET Garvin started out apparently in control. After two pin attempts on Goulet, Garvin went for his finisher, thinking he would win with it. Garvin could not have been more wrong, as Goulet kicked out of it and mounted a furious comeback! After using a Piledriver on Garvin, Goulet went on to use his finisher three times on Garvin, with the third time being the charm that won the match! Rene Goulet wins with his finisher-SCORPION CLAWHOLD in a time of 4:51.
MATCH 3: MAGNUM T.A. (with Nikita Koloff) VS MIKE GEORGE Mike George was disqualified in a time of 4:05.
MATCH 4: TERRY TAYLOR VS TED ARCIDI Terry Taylor gets the pin on Arcidi with an inside cradle in a time of 2:12.
MATCH 5: T.A.G. TEAM CHAMPIONS FRANK GOTCH & BRUNO SAMMARTINO VS MIKE DIBIASE & BROCK LESNAR -- TITLE BOUT Mike DiBiase was caught in Bruno Sammartino's Boston Crab early on and almost submitted. Using both his finishers, Sammartino went to work against DiBiase. Lesnar interjected himself in the match, and the referee nearly disqualified both teams. Finally, DiBiase was able to tag out to Lesnar. Matching muscle against muscle, Lesnar unleashed several German Suplexes on Bruno. Bruno shook these off and managed to slap on his finisher on Lesnar. Lesnar would not submit. Gotch came in and took over with his finisher. Lesnar still would not go down. Lesnar then gained the upper hand with a Press Slam. Fortunately for Gotch, he tagged out to Bruno. One more finisher from Sammartino was all that was needed for the victory for his team! Frank Gotch & Bruno Sammartino win when Bruno uses his finisher-BEARHUG on Lesnar in a time of 13:58 to retain the T.A.G. Team Belts!
MATCH 6: NIKITA KOLOFF VS SGT SLAUGHTER -- STEEL CAGE Even before the official start of the match, these two did not even wait to get into the cage before going after one another! Koloff started pounding on Slaughter's forehead with a chain, bloodying up the Sarge quickly. Slaughter came back and whipped Koloff's back with a riding crop multiple times. The action went on for several minutes before they got into the cage. Slaughter nailed Koloff with a chair shot to the head just before entering the cage. Sergeant Slaughter went on to avenge his recent loss to Nikita Koloff after using his finisher to end the match. Slaughter wins with his finisher-COBRA CLUTCH in a time of 2:08.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage was in the ring before his scheduled Title Bout against the T.A.G. Television Champion. He addressed Rude: "Tonight! Oooo yeah! Tonight, Rick Rude, the Macho Man will take back the Belt! There is no holding me back! Find yourself a deep snowbank to be buried in, for tonight, the Macho Man will not leave the building without a Belt around this waist! I guarantee it! Oooo yeah! Dig it?!"
MATCH 7: T.A.G. TELEVISION CHAMPION RICK RUDE VS "MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE (with Elizabeth) -- TITLE BOUT Randy Savage seemed to be in control of the match, with an intense fire in his eyes as he tried to win back the Belt he had lost to "Ravishing" Rick Rude not long ago. A single pin attempt was all the offense Savage could muster in the early going. As Savage climbed the ropes to go for his finisher, "Iron" Mike DiBiase appeared from backstage and ran to the ring. Rude was hit with Savage's finisher, but DiBiase interfered in the match as Savage was going for the cover! Mike DiBiase assaulted the referee, thus getting Rude DQed to end the match. Rude was disqualified when Mike DiBiase interfered in a time of 9:29, but Rude still retains the T.A.G. Television Belt!
MATCH 8: ULTIMATE WARRIOR VS THE ROCK Warrior put up very little offense in the early going. A multitude use of the People's Elbow nearly ended this match early. The Rock looked so calm as he threw The Warrior pillar-to-post, busting the Ultimate Warrior up wide in the process. Confident he was going to end this quickly, The Rock readied his finisher for a very groggy Warrior. SUDDENLY... Stone Cold Steve Austin's music blared over the PA, and The Rock was suddenly very nervous! Looking around for Austin from all exits gave Ultimate Warrior enough time to gather himself up and go on the offensive. The Rock was off-balance, and the Warrior knew it! The time had come for it to be The Rock's turn to be thrown from pillar-to-post! Warrior hit The Rock with a couple of big power moves, and set him up for the big finish. The Rock was in no shape to kick out of The Warrior's finisher, and the Ultimate Warrior went on to win in an amazing comeback! Warrior wins with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS AND SPLASH in a time of 15:39. After the match, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's music played and Austin appeared and went down to the ring and gave The Rock a Stone Cold Stunner to the delight of the crowd!
MATCH 9: T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION MANNY FERNANDEZ VS TED DIBIASE (Best 2-of-3 Falls, No DQ, No Count-out) -- TITLE BOUT
FIRST FALL -- Taking the first fall very quickly, Ted DiBiase got the win by pinfall. Ted DiBiase wins the first fall after a Vertical Suplex in a time of just 1:15!
SECOND FALL -- In the longest fall of the night, DiBiase continued to dominate the Champion. One pin attempt, and two finishers later, DiBiase was frustrated not being able to put away Fernandez for the win though, and Manny Fernandez did manage a comeback to take the second fall by pinfall. Fernandez wins the second fall with a Swinging Neckbreaker in a time of 17:44.
FINAL FALL -- Using his finisher again, DiBiase tried unsuccessfully to end the match. A quick shift in momentum was all the Champion needed to win the match and remain Champion! Manny won with a Belly-to-Back Suplex in a time of 5:15, and retains the T.A.G. Heavyweight Belt! As Fernandez celebrated in the ring, Randy Savage came down to the ring and extended his hand in friendship to Fernandez. But as Fernandez went to shake Savage's hand, Savage viciously clotheslined the Champ, took the T.A.G. Heavyweight Belt and put it around his own waist! Grabbing a microphone, Savage said, "I guaranteed that I would not be leaving without a Belt, and I got one! Fernandez, you have been ducking me for too long! It's time the Macho Man takes what is rightfully his!" With that, Savage retreated to the dressing room as the crowd voiced their utter shock and disapproval!
T.A.G. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Manny Fernandez T.A.G. TELEVISION CHAMPION: "Ravishing" Rick Rude T.A.G. TEAM CHAMPIONS: Frank Gotch & Bruno Sammartino

No problem, Brak, hehehhehehe!CARD 47: LIVE T.A.G. TV Show Taping, Wednesday, February 27, 2008 @ the Alumni Hall -- Providence, RI General Manager Ted Arcidi was in the middle of the ring at the start of the night's matches. He called Randy Savage down to the ring. Savage entered, holding the T.A.G. Heavyweight Belt which he had stolen from the Heavyweight Champ, Manny Fernandez, on the last fight card. "Randy," Arcidi started, "sorry to say this, man, but the Powers That Be tell me you have to give me the Belt. You have to understand it was not MY decision. I would give you a Title Shot tonight if I was allowed to by the Championship Committee." Savage replied, "Ooooooo yeah, Ted Arcidi! The Macho Man reigns supreme! Dig it?! Fine by me, Ted Arcidi, fine by me. You can have the Belt back, but I want that Title Shot as soon as possible!" Arcidi gritted his teeth. "Hate to tell you this, but it seems you are going to have to sit on the bench for a while. The Powers That Be tell me to tell you that you are suspended until the fifteen of March. Suspended without pay." Savage took the news calmly, surprisingly. "But I will get my Title Shot right after that, won't I, huh?" Arcidi replied, "I don't know, my friend. It's not up to me, as I said. You ARE free to wrestle in unsanctioned matches if you want, but the matches will all have to be open contracts that you sign. What do you say?" Savage thought for a moment. "Yeah, the Macho Man can dig that." Savage proceeded in signing the open contract that Arcidi had brought to the ring with him. "Okay, who is gonna be Savage's opponent tonight?" There was a silence in the arena. "I can beat anyone in the back, and they know it, Ted Arcidi," Savage boasted. Suddenly, a familiar guitar rift came blaring out of the PA system, and a painted Warrior raced to ringside! Clotheslining both Arcidi and Savage, the Ultimate Warrior picked up the pen and contract, signed it, and retreated as quickly as he appeared! "Ooooo, yeah, Warrior," Savage shouted when he got back to his feet. "You are in for a world of pain tonight! Dig it?!"

TV Show Taping, Sunday March 2, 2008 @ the MassMutual Center, Springfield, MA Ted Arcidi, the General Manager of T.A.G., was in the center of the ring with two other wrestlers at the beginning of the night's festivities. Ted started, "For those who are not familiar with these two fine men in the ring with me, let me introduce Al Madril and Al Perez. The three of us will be forming a group called "Texan Perfection". I guess that's cause we wrestled in Texas together. I wanted the group to be called "Heartthrobs of the Ring", but got out-voted. Anyway, it's time those old fogies, Gotch and Sammartino, had some REAL competition in the ring, and we are gonna give it to them! Don't be surprised to see us get a whole bunch of title shots in the near future, and winning the tag Belts soon!" The crowd reacted negatively to that. MATCH 5: MANNY FERNANDEZ & RON GARVIN VS TED ARCIDI & AL MADRIL Arcidi wasted no time getting the first pin attempt of the match by Powerslamming Ron Garvin. Instead, Arcidi took over after two big mistakes by Fernandez, and won the match after Manny Fernandez made his second mistake of the bout to give Arcidi's team the win. Anyway, I have returned and I am here to stay!"

CARD 52: LIVE T.A.G. TV Show Taping, Tuesday March 11, 2008 @ the Pizzitola Sports Center -- Providence, RI Bruno Sammartino addressed the crowd before the first match. "I'm in the ring tonight to introduce a wrestler who just signed with this great federation. He really needs no introduction, but I'd like to introduce him anyway. Please welcome -- ANTONINO ROCCA!" The crowd reacted positively to Rocca's entrance, at least those who were familiar with him. Rocca joined Sammartino in the ring and shook his hand. "Thank you, Bruno! It's great to be here! Just wanted to say 'THANK YOU' to all the fans here, and watching at home. It's really a privilege to be here tonight, and I do look forward to facing whomever wishes to challenge me tonight!” Bruno responded, “That’s great, Antonino! The fans are sure in for a treat when they have a chance to watch you wrestle later.” Out of nowhere, Rhino appeared and GORED Rocca in the center of the ring! Rhino grabbed the mic as he backed off from Sammartino. “Rocca, tonight, you face ME in the ring! And that’s just a small taste of what you will get later on!”

MATCH 5: "QUICKDRAW" RICK MCGRAW VS TED ARCIDI Ted Arcidi was disqualified in a time of 4:25.

Lesnar pins with a Release Suplex in a time of 9:26.
MATCH 7: FRANK GOTCH & PEDRO MORALES VS MIKE & TED DIBIASE Morales and Ted DiBiase exchanged finishers before Ted tagged out to Mike DiBiase. That pic of Rocca is just... unnatural.. that's some crazy flexibility right there.
Good stuff, though what the hell have you done to the Rock?
