[glow=red,2,300]ROCKY MOUNTAIN MADNESS[/glow] 1-3-07 Denver Coliseum Denver, CO
(RMM intro)
(Bill Apter and Gary Michael Cappetta are at the ringside announce position.)
Apter: Good evening, happy new year and welcome to a new era in Rocky Mountain wrestling. I’m Bill Apter, along with Gary Michael Cappetta and this is Rocky Mountain Madness.
GMC: Yes, the name change to this program is a result of a territory expansion. Rocky Mountain Wrestling Association will now promote throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
Apter: Our champions are still the same but they have new belts representing the territory name change.
GMC: And in tonight’s main event we have another all titles on the line match featuring Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion The Destroyer, Rocky Mountain Television Champion Bison Smith & Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions The Steiners.
Apter: They’ll be taking on The Collective. If any of the champions are pinned or they will lose their title to whoever made that event take place.
GMC: In other action tonight, Chris Candido, 2 Cold Scorpio and Iceman Parsons try to gain some revenge for Candido for this incident that happened last week.
(Footage from last week’s MHM) Dragon pinned Candido with a DRAGON TORNADO to win the title. After the match, Tiger Mask and Danny Hodge hit the ring and joined by Ultimo Dragon attacked Candido. Hodge locked Candido in an abdominal stretch while Ultimo Dragon and Tiger Mask took turns delivering thunderous kicks and strikes to Candido’s exposed rib area. Finally, 2 Cold Scorpio, Iceman Parsons and CSWA officials entered the ring and Hodge, Tiger Mask and Ultimo Dragon headed back up the ramp to the cheers of the crowd.
Apter: Speaking of revenge, Pierre Vachon has finally been cleared to wrestle and he’ll join his brother to take on Gen 2, Owen Hart & Dean Malenko, in a double dog collar match. So, let’s head to the ring for tonight’s opening contest.
Mr. Olympia vs. Yukon Eric After experiencing much unexpected success, Olympia seems to once again be on a downward slide after Eric made Olympia submit to a bear hug.
(Back from break. Bill Apter is on the set of the Hot Seat.)
Apter: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the Hot Seat Abdullah Farouk and The Collective.
(Abdullah Farouk, The Sheik, Fritz Von Goering, Killer Khan, Kototenzan (Earthquake) & Kotokokina (Yokozuna) come onto the set.)
Good evening gentlemen. It looks as if your Collective is growing, Mr. Farouk.
Farouk: We have cut some dead weight and added some deadly individuals. The Collective is stronger than ever.
Apter: You have added Killer Khan, who seems to be a little banged up and Yokozuna. Earthquake seems to be sporting a new look as well.
Farouk: First of all little man, from this point forward the men you knew as Yokozuna and Earthquake are no more. These two men now make a up the sumo tag team of Sodogatake. Kototenzan and Kotokokina will destroy all who stand in their way enroute to the tag team gold. As far as Khan, he is not as injured as everyone thinks and he’ll prove it tonight. Also, a word of warning, my good doctor – Khan has not forgotten that you are the one that injured him and revenge will be sweet.
Apter: Any more plans for the new year.
Farouk: I am putting the RMWA on notice. The Collective’s reign of terror will begin. The Collective will rule this territory in 2008.
(break)
Scott Norton vs. Killer Khan (w/Abdullah Farouk) This was a great, back and forth contest that ended when Norton pinned Khan with a power slam. After the match, The Sheik and Fritz Von Goering rushed into the ring and attacked Norton from behind. The Sheik produced a spike and started grinding it into the head of Norton. The blood flowed freely as Von Goering and Khan stomped a badly bleeding Norton. The Destroyer, Bison Smith and “Dr. Death” Steve Williams finally made it to the ring and ran The Collective off. A very bloody Norton had to be taken from the ring on a stretcher.
(break)
Apter: Abdullah Farouk wasn’t kidding when he said The Collective was beginning a reign of terror.
GMC: That was one of the most heinous, unprovoked attacks I’ve ever seen.
Apter: Yes, and on the heels of that I’m have to announce our next big supercard. The Super Rumble Classic emanates live from the Lawrence Stalkup Skydome on the campus of the Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.
GMC: 30 men enter the ring for a battle royal and the order of elimination of the last eight men determine the seeding for the tournament directly following the battle royal. The winner of that one night tournament gets a shot at the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion at the Rocky Mountain Wrestle Bowl.
Apter: The Rocky Mountain Wrestle Bowl will be our supercard following the Super Rumble Classic and will take place at the end of the month.
Non-title Match DWA United Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. “Sick” Nick Mondo Williams seems to have trouble with guys that are lighter and faster than he is. For the second time in less than a month Williams was defeated by a man that would be considered a cruiserweight when Mondo pinned Williams after an M. Bison. After the match, 2 Cold Scorpio and Iceman Parsons attacked Mondo. They threw Mondo outside of the ring where the delivered a vicious spike piledriver on the concrete. Officials and medical staff came from the back and Mondo had to be taken from the ringside area on a stretcher.
(break)
Apter: Our second straight match with on of the participants being taken out on a stretcher.
GMC: Scorpio & Parsons have definitely taken it upon themselves to rid the RMWA of the Hardcore Militia.
Apter: Let’s go to the dressing room area where Jason Marcus is standing by with Harley Race & Larry “The Axe” Hennig.
(Jason Marcus, Harley Race and Larry “The Axe” Hennig are in the dressing room interview area.)
Marcus: Thanks, Bill. I am indeed here with Harley Race & Larry “The Axe” Hennig and Mr. Race, it’s been a heck of a last few days.
Race: It certainly has. I beat Ric Flair and I was jumped from behind by a group of guys that call themselves The Army.
Hennig: First off, that was no army. It was a group of thugs.
Race: I think The Axe is on to something there. PNW Promoter Weirdjerod has taken issue with our promoter, Madkanter. That’s fine, but what they’ve got going on is their business. Unfortunately that group of thugs that jumped me last night has made it my business.
Hennig: That’s right. Weirdjerod, you and your thugs want a war? Well, you got one.
Race: You came barking up the wrong tree. The best wrestling tree on God’s green earth and with the help of the Axe, this tree’s going to fall right down and crush all of you. That leads me to the Nature Boy. Flair, you owe me a hand shake and a statement that I am the better wrestler. I won’t hold my breath. Come on Axe, you’ve got a match to win.
(Race and Hennig head to the ring.)
Larry Hennig (w/Harley Race) vs. Timber “The Insane Lumberjack” Hennig defeated Timber with THE AXE.
(break)
Chris Candido (w/Tammy Sytch), 2 Cold Scorpio & Iceman Parsons vs. Tiger Mask, Danny Hodge & Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Champion Ultimo Dragon Dragon pinned Parsons with QUEBRADA PRESS.
(break)
Apter: Chris Candido and company were unable to gain some revenge. Let’s see how the Vachons fair.
Double Dog Collar Match Pierre & Damien Vachon vs. Owen Hart & Dean Malenko In a back and forth match, vengeance was not to be had. Hart pinned Pierre after a DIVING HEADBUTT.
(break)
Apter: It’s time for tonight’s main event but, first, Jason Marcus is in the dressing room with the Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champs, Jason?
(Jason Marcus, Rick & Scott Steiner are in the dressing room interview area.)
Marcus: Thanks, Bill. Steiners, you put up your titles tonight under a very interesting set of circumstances.
Scott: You got that right. If my brother and I get pinned by any one of our opponents, we lose our belts.
Rick: Woof. Woof. Woof.
Marcus: Speaking of belts, you guys almost won a shot at the LWA World Tag Team Champions near your hometown on New Year’s Day, going through several teams including the LWA National Tag Team Champions Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen.
Rick: Hey, we beat them. Scotty, we beat them. Remember, we beat them. And I bet we can do it again too.
Scott: What my brother is trying to say is – Brody, Hansen, we beat you on the way to the finals of that tournament. I bet we can do it again with your belts on the line.
Marcus: You know, the LWA Board of Directors announced this week that there’s going to be a pay-per-view call Storm Warning in Calgary on Friday, January 25th.
Scott: Perfect. Brody, Hansen, The Steiners want your belts. Why don’t you shine ‘em up real nice and bring ‘em to Calgary. We’ll be happy to take them off your hands.
Marcus: Wow, a challenge has been made for Storm Warning. We’ll have to wait and see if it is answered. Back to you guys at ringside.
Apter: Thanks Jason. The Steiners seem to be looking for some national recognition.
GMC: They’ve been hot as of late and beat the National Tag Champs once already, it should be great when the hook up again. You know, Bill, the last time we had a match like the one we’re about to have, Al Costello walked out with the heavyweight title.
Apter: Yeah, let’s hope something like that doesn’t happen tonight.
All Titles on the Line Match Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion The Destroyer, Rocky Mountain Television Champion Bison Smith & Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Rick & Scott Steiner vs. The Sheik, Fritz Von Goering & Sodogatake (Kototenzan & Kotokokina w/Abdullah Farouk) Destroyer made The Sheik submit to a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK.
Apter: This time the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion was victorious for his team.
GMC: What a great night of action.
Apter: Indeed it was, Gary. Look for us in a town near you. For Gary Michael Cappetta, I’m Bill Apter saying we’ll see you at the matches.
(Promo for SUPER RUMBLE CLASSIC) [glow=blue,2,300]Rocky Mountain Wrestling Association in association with LWA proudly presents SUPER RUMBLE CLASSIC Sunday, January 13th live from the Lawrence Walkup Skydome in Flagstaff, Arizona.

[glow=red,2,300]THE JASON MARCUS CHRONICLES #1[/glow]
(Jason Marcus is backstage during Rocky Mountain Madness.)
Marcus: Welcome to the debut of The Jason Marcus Chronicles. A special feature that you won’t see anywhere else but right here following every edition of Rocky Mountain Madness. I will have exclusive backstage interviews with superstars from RMWA and more. Hey, there’s the Harley Race and Larry “The Axe” Hennig. Axe, I’d like to congratulate you on a great victory tonight.
Hennig: Thanks, Jason. I can’t tell you how great it is to be back in a wrestling ring after being injured for so long.
Marcus: Now, we heard from Mr. Race about his immanent future plans, what are yours?
Hennig: Well, last night Harley was jumped by the PNW Army. I’m not real happy about that and think Weirdjerod and his thugs should pay for ruining last night’s match.
Marcus: Is that a challenge?
Hennig: I think it is. Hey, Krupp, what do you say we lock up at Storm Warning and see what we can settle?
Marcus: Wow, I’m looking forward to that matchup. Thanks for the time gentlemen. It’s going to be those kinds of scoops you can expect here on The Jason Marcus Chronicles. It looks like The Destroyer, Bison Smith and “Dr. Death” Steve Williams are heading to the parking lot. Let’s see if we can get a word as they head to their car. Destroyer, can I get a word as you head to your car?
Destroyer: Sure, but let’s make it quick. We want to get to the hospital to check on Scott.
Marcus: That’s, of course, Scott Norton who was injured earlier tonight at the hands of The Collective. What’s his condition.
Destroyer: He lost quite a bit of blood but Flash is tough. He needed some stitches and the doctors wanted to keep him for observation. And don’t worry about The Collective, we’re going to deal with them.
(Smith and Williams put the bags in the trunk of the rental car.)
Marcus: Speaking of dealing with people, what about Weirdjerod?
(Williams and Smith get in the car with Williams starting it.)
Destroyer: Do me a favor. Give that piece of fecal matter a message for me. Flash and Bison will take on any two guys he chooses at Storm Warning. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I would like to get to the hospital.
Marcus: Sure thing. Give Scott my best. Two challenges made right here on the first edition of The Jason Marcus Chronicles. Unfortunately, that brings us to the end of our first show. I hope you all enjoyed it and I’ll see you next time.

[glow=red,2,300]ROCKY MOUNTAIN MADNESS[/glow] 1-10-07 Denver Coliseum Denver, CO
(RMM intro)
(Bill Apter and Gary Michael Cappetta are at the ringside announce position.)
Apter: Good evening and welcome to another edition of Rocky Mountain Madness. I’m Bill Apter, along with Gary Michael Cappetta, and we’re on our way to the Super Rumble Classic this Sunday.
GMC: That’s right, Bill. The Super Rumble Classic is this Sunday at the Lawrence Walkup Skydome in Flagstaff, Arizona. Thirty men enter the ring for a battle royal and the order of elimination of the last eight men determine the seeding for the tournament directly following the battle royal. The winner of that one night tournament gets a shot at the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion at the Rocky Mountain Wrestle Bowl.
Apter: The Rocky Mountain Wrestle Bowl will take place at the end of the month. We’ll talk more about that after the Super Rumble Classic. Tonight, The Vachons try to gain some revenge for their comrade “Sick” Nick Mondo.
(Footage from RMM 1-3-07) For the second time in less than a month Williams was defeated by a man that would be considered a cruiserweight when Mondo pinned Williams after an M.
GMC: The Vachons face 2 Cold Scorpio and Iceman Parsons no holds barred, tonight.
Apter: Plus, Rocky Mountain Television Champion Bison Smith defends his title and in our huge main event Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion The Destroyer & LWA Unified Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams battle Harley Race & Larry “The Axe” Hennig.
GMC: We’re also going to get an update on the injured Scott Norton and “Sick” Nick Mondo before the night’s over.
Apter: It looks like both men are in the ring for our opening match so let’s . . . wait a minute. What’s this? Walking down the ramp toward the ring is Bob Backlund.
GMC: Yeah and he’s dressed like . . . Clark Kent?
Apter: It seems that way. He’s got a clipboard and seems to be prepared to take notes.
The Grappler vs. Kotokokina (w/Abdullah Farouk) Both men were counted out as the brawled outside the ring. They brawled right by Backlund who seemed to finish his note taking and return to the dressing room.
Apter: What an odd appearance by Bob Backlund.
GMC: Indeed. I wonder why he was at ringside.
(break)
Scott Steiner vs. Timber “The Insane Lumberjack” Steiner pinned Timber after a FRANKENSTEINER. After the match Pierre & Damien Vachon attacked Steiner. Pierre seemed to be in charge, giving orders to both his brother and Timber. Pierre delivered both the LEGACY OF PAIN and a SIT OUT CHOKESLAM. Damien then locked in the PITBULL LOCK. Timber is about to bash Steiner with the barbed wire ax handle when a chair wielding Rick Steiner and RMWA officials run off the assailants.
Apter: What was that all about.
GMC: It seems that with out their leader, the Hardcore Militia is in disarray.
(break)
Apter: We’re back and Jason Marcus is in the dressing room with The Destroyer’s Defense Fighters.
(Jason Marcus, The Destroyer, Bison Smith and “Dr. Death” Steve Williams are in the dressing room interview area.)
Marcus: Thanks, Bill. Destroyer, I’m going to cut to the chase. What’s the status on Scott “Flash” Norton.
Destroyer: Scott is fine. He’s just not here tonight because his stitches got infected. I told him to stay out of the weight room but he wouldn’t listen. That’s alright because he’ll be back stronger than ever for the Super Rumble Classic.
Marcus: That’s great news. Now at the Super Rumble Classic, Bison is entered in the 30-man battle royal, Doc defends his belt against Killer Khan and you face the LWA World Heavyweight Champion Buddy Rogers in a non-title match. How do you see the outcome of each of these matches.
Destroyer: Well, Bison has as good, if not better, chance as any to advance from the battle royal to the tournament. Doc is always competitive and I just hope to have a good showing. No matter what happens, though, we’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
Marcus: Moving on, Weirdjerod has not accepted your open challenge from last week, yet. Do you think he’s afraid or just ignoring you?
Destroyer: Oh, I know Weirdjerod isn’t afraid and if he’s ignoring us maybe we should take our challenge to him personally.
Marcus: Not sure what that means but thanks for the time, guys. Back to you at ringside.
Apter: Thanks Jason. Speaking of Dr. Death’s Super Rumble Classic opponent, he’s in our next match.
GMC: And it looks like Bob Backlund, who’s still in his Clark Kent gear, is out to take notes on this match too.
Killer Khan (w/Abdullah Farouk) vs. Chris Candido (w/Tammy Sytch) Backlund returned to the dressing room during the match and in a huge upset, Candido beat Khan with a BLONDE BOMB. After the match The Sheik and Fritz Von Goering attacked Candido. The Sheik pulled out his spike but Sytch got between him and Candido and begged for mercy. Von Goering pushed Sytch aside and to the mat. Sheik ground the spike into Candido’s head. Khan and Von Goering stomp a very bloody Candido as The Sheik revels in his handywork. Officials and medical staff enter the ring and tend to Candido who’s badly injured.
Apter: The Collective is out of controllable. Someone needs to step up and do something.
GMC: Yeah, but who. The Destroyer seems to be more concerned defending RMWA against PNW and Harley Race has his own agenda as well. And what is Bob Backlund doing here?
(break)
(Back from break and Bill Apter is on the set of the Hot Seat.)
Apter: Please welcome to the Hot Seat the Hardcore Militia.
(Timber “The Insane Lumberjack”, Pierre & Damien Vachon come onto the set.)
Apter: Thanks for joining me this evening gentlemen. First off, how is “Sick” Nick Mondo.
Pierre: Nick’s going to be fine. But he’s not here right now so that means I’m in charge of this interview. Steiners, what Scott got tonight was just a taste of what the Vachons can dish out. Our family name has struck fear in the hearts of wrestlers for nearly the last 60 years. Steiners, my brother and I feel we lack respect around here and as you know when the Vachons want respect we look for it at the very top of the food chain. Steiners, your belts are coming home to the Vachons.
(break)
Apter: As far as the Hardcore Militia’s concerned it seems while the cat’s away the mice will play.
GMC: Yeah, “Sick” Nick is on the shelf and the Vachons demand a title shot. Hmmm, not bad.
Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Title Match Tiger Mask vs. Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Champion Ultimo Dragon Mask and Dragon shook hands before the match. This was a high octane, quick paced bout the entire way. Mask took the victory and the title with a back suplex. After the match The Collective (The Sheik, Fritz Von Goering & Killer Khan w/Abdullah Farouk) stormed the ring and attacked Tiger Mask. Ultimo Dragon tried to stop the attack but was double teamed by Von Goering and Khan. Sheik pulled out his spike and it into the top of Tiger Mask’s head. Tiger Mask slumped to the canvas and The Sheik continued to grind his spike into the temple of Mask. Officials and medical staff finally stormed the ring.
Apter: More carnage from The Collective. When will this madness stop?
(break)
Apter: I hope the Vachons aren’t looking past their next match ahead to the Steiners.
GMC: Me too, otherwise Scorpio and Parsons will take them to task.
No Holds Barred Match Pierre & Damien Vachon vs. 2 Cold Scorpio & Iceman Parsons This match was between two teams that are trying to prove who is more hardcore and neither disappointed. The two battled back and forth for a while then Pierre and Parsons brawled all the way back to the dressing room and out the back door. Pierre smashed Parsons’ head into a car that was parked behind the arena. Then the two brawled all the way back down to the ring. Pierre tried to give Parsons a SIT OUT CHOKESLAM but Parsons kneed him in the groin. The momentum shifted to Scorpio & Parsons and Scorpio was tagged in. Scorpio grabbed a chair and bashed Pierre in the head and face three times before tossing the chair aside. Scorpio then went out and found a metal pipe under the ring. Pierre punched Scorpio and took the pipe away. Pierre bashed Scorpio in the head with the pipe. More brawling then Pierre grabbed a barbed wire covered 2x4 from under the ring. Pierre nailed Scorpio with it then used the barbwire to rip Scorpio’s face open. Scorpio was a bloody mess. Damien tagged in and threw a chair in the ring. Damien went to the top as Pierre positioned the chair on the mat. Pierre and Damien delivered a powerbomb/top rope legdrop combo to Scorpio. Damien went for a PITBULL LOCK but Scorpio countered with a huricanrana. Scorpio tagged out to Parsons but Damien came back. Pierre set up a table outside the ring and Damien powerbombed Parsons over the top rope through the table. Parsons somehow recovered and the action went back and forth outside the ring. Parsons grabbed the metal pipe but Damien punched it away from him and smashed Parsons with it, busting him open. Back in the ring Damien hit an exploder suplex and attempted to pin a very bloody Parsons. Scorpio broke up the pin. Damien grabbed the metal pipe and tried to use it on Parsons but Parsons took it away and nailed Damien with it. Damien managed to tag in Pierre. Pierre with a corner splash on Parsons. Pierre attempted to pin Parsons but Scorpio broke it up. Pierre tried the LEGACY OF PAIN but Parsons kneed him in the groin. Parsons with two flying elbow drops and Parsons is able to pin Pierre.
Apter: What a match!
GMC: Unbelievable! Scorpio and Parsons wear the crimson mask but the Vachons are the ones who get beat.
Apter: After seeing what the Vachons brought in that match to end up on the losing end, I hope the Steiners are ready.
(break)
Apter: Let’s take a look at what happened last week to Scott “Flash” Norton.
(Footage from RMM 1/3/08) This was a great, back and forth contest that ended when Norton pinned Khan with a power slam.
GMC: Now, Scott Norton’s tag team partner Bison Smith tries to gain a measure of revenge while defending his television title.
Rocky Mountain Television Title Match The Sheik (w/Abdullah Farouk) vs. Bison Smith Bob Backlund was out taking notes once again, during this match. This was a great back and forth match in which Smith was successful in defending his title, ending it with a powerbomb.
(break)
Apter: Time for our main event and this should be a fantastic match.
Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion The Destroyer & LWA Unified Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Harley Race & Larry “The Axe” Hennig Race looked to be a little off in this match and actually submitted to The Destroyer’s FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK.
Apter: Holy cow. This was one of the most surprising, action packed nights of wrestling I’ve ever seen.
GMC: Yeah you get the Vachons/Scorpio/Parsons no holds barred match the same night Harley Race submits to The Destroyer.
Apter: Plus, the Vachons challenge the Steiners and what the heck is Bob Backlund doing here?
GMC: I guess only time will.
Apter: We’re out of time. Don’t forget the Super Rumble Classic this Sunday. For Gary Michael Cappetta, I’m Bill Apter saying we’ll see you at the matches.
(Promo for SUPER RUMBLE CLASSIC) [glow=blue,2,300]Rocky Mountain Wrestling Association in association with LWA proudly presents SUPER RUMBLE CLASSIC this Sunday live from the Lawrence Walkup Skydome in Flagstaff, Arizona.

[glow=red,2,300]THE JASON MARCUS CHRONICLES #2[/glow]
(Jason Marcus is backstage after Rocky Mountain Madness.)
Marcus: Welcome back to the Jason Marcus Chronicles. We just finished an unbelievable edition of Rocky Mountain Madness. I’m back stage looking to get the inside scoop on all that’s RMWA. Hey, here comes Rick & Scott Steiner. Let’s see if we can get a word. Rick, Scott, what did you think of the Vachons no holds barred match tonight.
Scott: Listen, Marcus, I don’t want to talk about those d**ned Vachons and their match. They tried to take me out and as a result I have some bruised ribs. All I want to talk about is payback.
Rick: Woof woof woof, those Vachons have nothing on their pops. If he wanted a match with ya, he came out and told you face to face. None of this attack from behind crap.
Scott: We want the Vachons. Anytime . . . anywhere. And they better be ready to get their asses kicked.
Rick: Woof woof woof.
Marcus: The Steiners on a collision course with the Vachons. I can’t wait. Let’s wander over this way to The Collective’s dressing room The door’s closed and I’m a little nervous about knocking. Not sure what awaits me on the other side. Oh wait . . . here comes Abdullah Farouk. Mr. Farouk . . . a minute of your time please?
Farouk: What is it underling. My Collective is hungry and the raw meat I left them won’t last long.
Marcus: I won’t take long. I just wanted to ask you about what’s been going on with The Collective’s random attacks.
Farouk: So you’ve taken notice of The Collective’s reign of terror have you? My thought is, if we eliminate all the competition then the titles will be ours by default. And no one can stop us.
Marcus: Last week, The Destroyer said he made a call. What do you think he meant by that and what do you know about Bob Backlund’s appearance here tonight. He seemed to be taking notes during The Collective’s matches.
Farouk: The Destroyer was blowing smoke. He knows he can’t match wits with me and as far as that pea brain Backlund is concerned, maybe he’s trying to figure out what The Collective is doing so he can actually get a job. Hehehehe, no if you’ll excuse me, my men are hungry and I don’t think you’d appreciate if I fed them you.
Marcus: You’ve got that right. So I guess that will bring us to the end of another Chronicles. I better get out of here before The Collective comes looking for their next meal.

Apter: I can’t believe with all that beef in the ring, two of the lightest guys in the match are the ones left standing.
GMC: It is pretty amazing but that was only the first part of the Super Rumble Classic. Now it’s on to the single elimination tournament where eight men will battle for a shot at the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion at the Rocky Mountain Wrestle Bowl.
Kotokokina (w/Abdullah Farouk) vs. Damien Vachon Vachon mounted very little offense in this match. Kotokokina pinned Vachon with a running splash. After the match, Kotokokina nailed Vachon with the BANZAI DROP, leaving Vachon motionless on the mat.
(break)
Apter: I had no idea there was heat between The Collective and the Hardcore Militia.
GMC: I don’t thing there was, but there definitely is now.
Apter: We’re going to try to catch up with Abduallah Farouk and get some answers.
Dr. Wagner, Jr. vs. Mil Mascaras After withstanding a lot of punishment, Wagner came back and beat Mascaras with a WAGNER DRIVER.
(break)
Apter: Welcome back. MAW’s Ann Hollis is in the dressing room with Abdullah Farouk.
(Ann Hollis, Abdullah Farouk and Sodogatake are in the dressing room interview area.)
Hollis: Mr. Farouk, why did Kotokokina attack Damien Vachon following their match.
Farouk: I applaud you young lady on cutting to the chase. The answer is simple. The Vachons want a title shot. Well, that’s Sodogatake’s title shot they’re after. Kotokokina was just eliminating the competition.
Hollis: Enough said. Back to you at ringside.
Apter: Well there you have it.
“Bruiser” Bob Sweetan vs. Mephisto Mephisto surprised Sweetan with a tornado DDT and made the quick pin.
(break)
Ultimo Dragon vs. Danny Hodge These two have met each other in great matches many times before and this would be no different. Dragon nailed Hodge with a tope suicida outside the ring then finished him off with a Stalling Brainbuster inside the ring.

GMC: There’s been some trouble brewing between the two teams in our next match.
Apter: And a little confusion as well.
Rick & Scott Steiner vs. Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen The Steiners won by disqualification when during a brawl outside the ring Hansen shoved the ref.
Apter: Not exactly the ending we hoped to see.
GMC: Hopefully these two teams will hook up again.

Apter: Now we continue with the tournament.
Kotokokina (w/Abdullah Farouk) vs. Dr. Wagner, Jr. Wagner won by disqualification when Kotokokina threw salt in his eyes.
(break)
Mephisto vs. Ultimo Dragon Mephisto put Dragon down with a spear followed by a POWERBOMB.
(break)
(Back from break and Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody are in the dressing room area when they are suddenly attacked by Bison Smith and Scott Norton. RMWA officials break up the fracas and Norton shouts: “Take that message back to Weirdjerod.”
Apter: Wow. Now I know what DDF’s meant by taking the message to Weirdjerod.
GMC: Yeah, it seems they mean business.
Apter: Next up is a special feature match pitting LWA’s two reigning championship tag teams against one another.
Non-title Match LWA National Tag Team Champions Jay Strongbow and Wahoo McDaniel vs. LWA World Heavyweight Champions Demolition (Ax & Smash) Strongbow & McDaniel won by disqualification when Ax shoved the ref.

Apter: It’s time for our tournament final.
GMC: And if you would’ve told me at the beginning of the evening these two men were going to meet in the finals, I would’ve called you crazy.
Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Number One Contender’s Match Dr. Wagner, Jr. vs. Mephisto This turned out to be a very quick match. Wagner hit a flying clothesline then the WAGNER DRIVER for the win.
Apter: Unbelievable, the man that will meet The Destroyer at the Rocky Mountain Wrestle Bowl is Dr. Wagner, Jr.
GMC: I would’ve never believed it unless I was here to see it.
(break)
Apter: LWA Unified Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams has had some trouble in non-title matches lately.
GMC: Indeed he has. It makes me wonder if his involvement with Destroyer’s Defense Fighters has cost him a little bit of focus.
Apter: We’re about to find out because he’s going to face one of the men that’s beat him in a non-title match.
LWA Unified Intercontinental Title Match Killer Khan (w/Abdullah Farouk) vs. LWA Unified Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams The champ and challenger go back and forth until Khan shoves the ref and garners the disqualification. Bison Smith and Scott Norton run to the ring but it’s too late. Williams is a blood mess.
(break)
Apter: The Collective’s reign of terror continues.
GMC: Yes, but thankfully, from what we understand, Dr. Death’s injuries aren’t serious.
Apter: It’s time for tonight’s main event.
GMC: We get a chance to see how our regional champion stacks up against the world champion.
Non-title Match Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion The Destroyer vs. LWA World Heavyweight Champion “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers Rogers made Destroyer submit to the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE.
Apter: It looks like The Destroyer didn’t quite measure up.
GMC: The man’s got a lot on his plate but I’m sure he’ll head back to the drawing board and if these two meet again it might be a different outcome.
Apter: I would agree. Well, it’s been a great night of action. I thank you all for joining us. For Gary Michael Cappetta, I’m Bill Apter saying we’ll see you at the matches.

It'd be nice of Dr. Death would pin someone once in a while.
Khan will get another chance at the IC title at Storm Warning.
