Gangrel*** Vs. Billy Gunn Marc Mero was Gunn's scheduled opponent, but he didn't show up to the arena. Gangrel, furious, jumped in and an impromptu match was started. After a hot start, Gangrel was totally outmatched by Gunn, who finished him off after a long match. Billy Gunn def. Gangrel with a piledriver

Techincal Challenge Drake Younger**** Vs. Nick Mondo The two leaders of Wave of the Future couldn't decide who would get to show their stuff against former World Champ Ric Flair tomorrow, so they asked for a match, agreeing to keep it clean and in the ring. The match started with a handshake, which was the only time Younger laid a hand on his teammate. Mondo was one step ahead the entire match, and got his friend to tap to the figure four after working the left knee throughout the match. Nick Mondo def. Drake Younger with a Figure Four Leglock.

Pierre and 'Pitbull' Vachon(w/ Butcher Vachon) Vs. Naptown Dragons Commissioner Wildfire's wheeling and dealing brought in another exciting young tag team, and they debuted with a quick victory over the dragons. Butcher, after the match, promised that his nephews would dominate the EWE like no one ever has before.
Drake Younger came out after the match, not happy with his buddies, but he had something on his mind. “ Just a little while ago, I was wrestling in dark, dirty gyms in South Carolina.. them the EWE saved us. There was only one man who was beyond redemption... Chris Jericho. He's alligned him self with a couple other losers calling themselves the Canadian Solution. Well, the solution is to put them out of our misery, brother! Come on down to No Angels, dawgs... we'll bring the toys.
Drake Younger** Vs. Butcher Vachon* Drake Younger learned a valuable lesson.. don't dis Canadians when two of them are at ringside. Pitbull and Pierre Vachon made their presence felt, but the Dragons came back to even the odds. Once back to a one on one encounter, Younger broke out the light tube to get the victory. Drake Younger def. Butcher Vachon with a light tube to the head
Gangrel came out, looking for Marc Mero, when he appeared on the video screen, flanked by RMWA's Buff Bagwell and 2 Cold Scorpio.
Mero: Hello, freak! The Marvelous one is finally found a place where he'll be appreciated. I am no one's minion! Good luck fighting off all the people you've pissed off by yourself, mister big scary vampire! Promoter's note: The promo was taped before Mero was hurt at Rocky Mountain Madness. [/i]
Gangrel was livid, tearing at the turnbuckles and seemingly growling at no one in particular, when commissioner Wildfire headed out to the ring.
Wildfire: Gangrel, my friend, all is taken care of! I give you, your new partner. 'Bloody' Harker Dirge!
Gangrel seemed skeptical, but Dirge has quite and entrance.
Gangrel/ Harker Dirge**** Vs. Hardcore Legends** Dirge started off in the ring, and Gangrel sat back and watched the Sandman and Al Snow pick him apart. Finally, it appeared Gangrel decided he had 'passed' and came in for the pin save. Dirge turned it around and made the hot tag, and Gangrel did the rest. The referee nearly wet himself as the two new best buddies smiled as their hands were raised. Gangrel/Dirge def. Hardcore Legends with a running clothesline
'Road Dogg' Jesse James(w/ Billy Gunn) Vs. Buh Buh Ray Dudley(w/ Devon Dudley) The Outlaws won this round, with Road Dogg dominating the match from the opening bell.
'Road Dogg' Jesse James def. Buh Buh Ray Dudley with a DDT
EWE Title Match Tommy Dreamer***Vs. Billy Gunn** Dreamer got a big pop, and promised he would give the fans a show they would never forget at No Angels. 'This Elvis is going to wish he was dead when I get through with him. This title isn't going anywhere!' The crowd went wild, as Gunn waited patiently for the match to start. Gunn had several near falls in a great match, in fact, he seemed to have the match won after landing the Famasser when the Dudleys hit the ring and chaos ensued. Dreamer did not appreciate the help and actually helped the Outlaws once he got back up. Billy Gunn def. Tommy Dreamer by DQ
Ric Flair Vs. Nick Mondo The former World Champ came out to a nice pop, and looked Mondo up and down. 'School's in session, kid. Whoooo!' Mondo seemed primed to match is techincal prowess against the champ, but Flair isn't known as the dirtiest player in the game for nothing. Flair used the ropes to get a quick pin.. Mondo was shocked, but Flair simply said 'School's out' and styled and profiled to the back. Ric Flair def. Nick Mondo with a Pin using the Ropes

Butcher Vachon Vs. Drake Younger*** Younger came out and dissed Canada in general, calling all Canadian wrestlers 'too old school to survive today'. He then found mocking Canadians is not a great idea... Vachon dominated the match and got the easy victory. Butcher Vachon def. Drake Younger with the backbreaker. Rating: **1/2 stars
Commissioner Wildfire came out and announced that the LWA World Champ would appear at No Angels, since both Ric Flair AND Bruno Sammartino would be on the card, facing each other in a tag team match.
Billy Gunn*** Vs. Devon Dudley*** The Outlaws and the Dudleys are on a collision course for the EWE gold, and both sides wanted to go in with a victory. Devon was brutal early on, and busted Gunn open with a chair. He tried to do too much damage, though, and Gunn came back.. Devon never got the momentum back. Gunn finished with the Famasser to get the win. 'Road Dogg' hit the ring after the match and the champs drove Devon into the cement on the outside of the ring with a Spike Piledriver before Spike and Buh Buh could make the save. Billy Gunn def. EWE presents: No Angels Feb. 15th, 2009 Agganis Arena, Boston University Campus
Dogs of War(Brody/Hansen)***** Vs. The Sheik/Abdullah the Butcher**** This was an ugly, brutal slugfest from the outset, with the Dogs bringing their chains to the ring, and the Sheik and Abdullah bringing their silverware. The spot of the match was Abdullah shaking the ring with a splash off the 2nd rope on Stan Hansen, then grinding a fork into his forehead as he landed. Hansen was bleeding heavily, but Brody came in, chain swinging, for the save. The turning point came when The Sheik attempted a fireball on Brody, but missed and narrowly missed his partner. The distraction allowed Brody to set up The Sheik for a chain-wrapped Lariat from Hansen to get the victory. Dogs of War def. Sheik/Abdullah with a Lariat. Rating ****.
Backstage, Wave of the Future teammate Drake Younger and Nick Mondo are bickering about the world champion
Younger: I'll tell ya, brother, Bruno is the man. He's never gonna give up that belt. Flair is just a cheat.
Mondo: You didn't fight Flair, man, he's got it all going for him. He'll get the title back next chance he gets. Sammartino is just too old school to survive in the LWA. I mean, look at his moves, he...
Mondo's sentence was cut off as he was heaved in the air like a rag doll by LWA World Champ Bruno Sammartino in the very picture of a bear hug. Sammartino playfully checked his arm once then put him down
Sammartino: You'll see tonight, son, that flash isn't always what gets it done. You have to have the heart of a champion. You boys will learn that soon enough.
Younger quickly shakes the champ's hand... Mondo, rubbing his sides, does so a bit less enthusiastically. The Commissioner then pops around the corner
Wildfire: Welcome, champ. Did you tell them Sammartino shakes his head . Well, boys, You guys are gonna be in the main event tonight. It will be Nick Mondo and Ric Flair facing off against Drake Younger and Bruno Sammartino. This is your big chance to show the whole LWA what you can do... make me proud. Sammartino smiles and walks off with Younger to talk strategy, while Mondo flies off to his locker room to get ready
2 out of 3 falls: Blue Demon****** Vs. Lou Thesz*** First Fall: Things started slow at first, as the two men felt each other out, neither willing to committ and make a mistake. Blue was the first to pounce, but Thesz was too powerful for him, and ground and pounded him on the mat before getting the cover.
Second Fall: Demon was in bad shape, and Thesz seemed completely confident of victory. If fact, he was so busy enjoying the 1st fall victory Blue was able to roll him up as soon as the bell sounded to steal the 2nd fall.
third fall: Thesz was furious at losing the 2nd fall, and that fury did not serve him well. Blue was able to stick and move, countering the powerful moves that felled him early on. He locked in the Octopus hold in the center of the ring, leaving Thesz no choice but to tap. Blue Demon def. Lou Thesz 2 falls to 1. Rating: *** 1/2 stars
First Blood Match Bison Smith*** Vs. Dan Severn*** These two tore into each other early, but then settled in to a chain wrestling contest. Smith hit the Biscentennial, and was firmly in control, but didn't seem to know how to draw the blood needed to end the match. He mounted Severn to pound away when Severn's palm flicked out and split Smith's forehead open with the razor concealed within to claim victory. Smith was furious and did further damage after the bell. EWE's Gangrel and Harker Dirge actually hit the ring for the save, seemingly drawn to the blood. Smith quickly left after Dirge seemed to lick his forehead. Dan Severn def. Bison Smith after a open palm strike to the forehead. Rating:*** stars.
Canadian Solution (Chris Jericho/Lance Storm)* w/ Jim Niedhart and Traci Brooks Vs. Naptown Dragons*** Jericho got a very loud reception, as the fans started the 'biggest loser' chant, later switching to 'U S A' . The numbers game, however, was not in the Dragons favor, with Younger and Mondo preparing for the main event. Despite some impressive teamwork by the Dragons, Niedhart and Brooks were able to stop any momentum they built time and again. The demoralization took its toll, and Chris Jericho was able to get a measure of revenge on EWE, forcing Dustin Lee to tap in the center of the ring to the Walls of Jericho The Canadian Solution def. Naptown Dragons with the Walls of Jericho. Rating ** 1/2 Stars
EWE Tag Team Title Match The Dudley Boyz vs the New Age Outlaws***** The Dudleys have been attempting to get their hands on the tag team champions for weeks, and at last they get their chance at the gold. The looked like they were going to make good on their threats, as they cut off 'Road Dogg' and pounded him as Billy Gunn sat helpless on the apron. It seemed salvation was at hand , though, when X-Pac hit the ring! The former friend to the Outlaws got Road Dogg off the hook after a 3-D, but Spike Dudley was quickly on the scene to even the odds, as all hell broke lose! It seemed that was not the only trick up Jesse's sleeve, as Shawn Michaels came through the crowd and leveled Devon with sweet chin music to allow Road Dogg to get the cover. As the Dudleys looked on with fury, X-Pac tossed Green and Black t-shirts to his three friends... DEGENERATION X RIDES AGAIN! The New Age Outlaws def. The Dudley Boys after Outside Interference. Rating: *** stars
EWE TITLE MATCH Tommy Dreamer**** Vs. Honky Tonk Man*** (w/ Jimmy Hart) Dreamer tried to goad Hart into having Honky put the Memphis title on the line for the match as well, but the Mouth of the South is too wily for that. Honky dominated the early part of the match, getting several near falls and keeping the action in the ring. After Dreamer kicked out of the Shake Rattle and Roll, Honky and Hart were frustrated, and Honky called for the guitar. Hart's toss was bad, however, and Dreamer was able to stop him from getting it with a low blow from behind, which drew huge cheers from the crowd. Dreamer built some momentum then drove his challengers head INTO the guitar with a DDT to retain his title as the crowd went crazy. Tommy Dreamer def. the Honky Tonk Man with a DDT. rating: *** 1/2 stars.
After the match, Hart got in Dreamer's face, but then realized he didn't have back up. Dreamer picked him up by the shirt and was about to put him next to his man when the Outlaws stormed the ring. They tossed Hart and Honky out (who used the oppertunity to get the heck out of Dodge) and went to work on the champ until Al Snow and the Sandman came out for the save. 'Road Dogg' promised D-X would own all the gold by month's end as his friends held a weakened by livid Dreamer back.
AWA Extreme Title Match Cactus Jack** Vs. Masato Tanaka****** This one was almost scary. Jack completely obliterated the champion, using al manner of weapon as the match carried throughout the arena. Tanaka fought valiantly, but Jack was too much on this day. He had a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire stashed near the entryway, and used it to good effect, getting the victory after massacring Tanaka with it. Cactus Jack def. Matsato Tanaka with a Barbed Wire Baseball Bat to become the new AWA extreme champion.
Tommy Dreamer came out after the victory and offered his hand to Catcus, challenging him to put up the title at some point in the future. Jack didn't seem to take kindly to friendliness, and took a wild swing at Dreamer with his baseball bat before saying 'Bang Bang!' and leaving with the bat and his newly won title.
Ric Flair/Nick Mondo**** Vs. Drake Younger/ Bruno Sammartino* Mond and Younger both pulls out all the stops, but the crowd was really just holding their breath until Flair and Sammartino met in the ring. Younger actually very nearly got the pin on Flair with Drake's Landing, but Mondo was in for the save. He looked at his buddy with dismay, but Mondo just shrugged and went back to the apron. Younger tagged in the champ, and Sammartino once again beat Flair in the center of the ring with his Bear Hug. Drake Younger/Bruno Sammartino def. Rick Flair/Nick Mondo with a Bear Hug. Rating: ** 1/2 Stars.

Shawn Michaels Vs. Al Snow The Dudleys were out to watch HBK's debut in the EWE, and while they didn't actually interfere in the match, the distraction clearly took its toll, as Al Snow continues to quietly rack up wins. Al Snow def. Shawn Michaels with the Snow-plex. Rating: **
Naptown Dragons*** Vs. Pierre and 'Pitbull' Vachon******** Great match! The crowd was on their feet as both teams threw everything they had at each other. The Dragons were able to wear down and isolate Pierre, and Dustin Lee impressively got him up for the Die Hard Trilogy to finally get the pin. The crowd gave the four men a standing ovation after the match, when went over 20 minutes. Naptown Dragons def. Pierre and 'Pitbull' Vachon with Die Hard Trilogy on Pierre. Rating: **** ½.
Harker Dirge** Vs. Butcher Vachon** Good, back and forth match. Dirge was able to get the win when Gangrel provided the distraction and Dirge used a fist full of tights to get the roll up. Harker Dirge def. Butcher Vachon on a roll up. Rating: ** ½
Spike Dudley** Vs. X-Pac* Quick, high impact match. X-Pac had the rare opportunity to have a size advantage in his match, and he used it to good effect. X-Pac def. Spike Dudley with the X-Factor. Rating: * ½
Nick Mondo*** Vs. Sandman Mondo got beat like a dirty rug here... no contest. The Sandman def. Nick Mondo with a Cane shot. Rating: *
EWE Title Match Tommy Dreamer***** Vs. Billy Gunn** The Champ came out before the match, and warned the Dudleys not to interfere this time, and perhaps regretted it. Gunn was on his game tonight, and was in control from the opening bell. Dreamer escaped the Famasser twice, but the third time was the charm for Gunn. We have a new champion! After the match, the celebration was short lived, as the Dudleys hit the ring and touched off a brawl between them and DX. Dreamer recovered and helped the Dudleys, only to get a 3D for his trouble after DX retreated. Billy Gunn def. Tommy Dreamer with the Famasser to become the NEW EWE champion.

Naptown Dragons*** Vs. Dudley Boyz The Dudleys were in a foul mood after getting punked by D-X, and the Dragons felt the full force of their wrath here... no contest. Dudleys def. Naptown Dragons with 3-D on Scotty Vortekz. Rating: * ½
Drake Younger Vs. Shawn Michaels Michaels seems to be taking the Chris Jericho path to EWE glory. He clearly underestimated his opponent here, as Younger ducked Sweet Chin Music to hit an Exploder then Drake's Landing for the big victory. Drake Younger def. Shawn Michaels with Drake Landing. Rating: **
Backstage: Gangrel and Harker Dirge are prepaing for their match, when Luna appears in their locker room. Gangrel was shocked to see her, but pleased.. they stared at each other for a few moment, when Harker interrupted to be introduced. He nodded his approval and whispered something to Gangrel, who smiled broadly. They two asked Luna to stay in the back at the start of the match, then came out for their match.
Pierre/ 'Pitbull' Vachon**** (w/ Butcher Vachon) Vs. Gangrel/Harker Dirge *(w/ Luna Vachon) The Vampires dominated early in the match, pummeling the Pitbull and breaking him open. Pierre made the hot tag and used barbed wire to put Gangrel down for the victory. Luna ran out from the back to check on him, when, suddenly, Butcher Vachon's eyes opened wide as he mouthed 'Trudy?' Luna screamed and ran to the back, with Vachon tailing after her, Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon def. Gangrel/Harker Dirge with a Sit Out Chokeslam. Rating: **
Al Snow Vs. The Sandman With Tommy Dreamer out of town, Snow and Sandman were in the back, arguing over who deserves a shot at Billy Gunn. Unfortunately for them, the commissioner heard them arguing and ordered them to the ring for a match. The two were tentative at first... the Sandman was the first to cut loose, and was rewarded with the fairly easy victory. The Sandman def. Al Snow with a Hardcore DDT. Rating: **
Degeneration X came out before the next match, to celebrate their domination of the EWE title. Billy Gunn was smug as Road Dogg called out LWA management, he reminded the crowd and LWA management that they were the National Tag Champs before they took some time off, and promised they would be again once the LWA gave them a shot, now that they've beat everyone in the EWE without any trouble. That brought out the Dudleys, armed with 2x4's who started an all out brawl. DX had the numbers, but the weapons made the difference and it was the Dudleys who stood in the ring after the brief but intense skirmish. Spike then took his spot in the corner and readied himself for X-Pac in the ring.
Spike Dudley*** Vs. X-Pac* Spike came out better after the brawl, but focused too much on using the 2x4, allowing X-Pac to stay in control. The Dudleys and the Outlaws both got involved, but ended up fighting each other through the crowd. X-Pac was able to finish the job and get another victory. X-Pac def. Spike Dudley with the Bronco Buster. Rating: ***
Non-Title Match Nick Mondo Vs. Billy Gunn*** Mondo only got this match because Al Snow and the Sandman were bickering, but he made the most of it. An amazing shooting star press to the floor set up not 1, not 2, but 3 assault drivers to give Mondo the huge victory. Nick Mondo def. Billy Gunn with an Assault Driver. Rating: **

Ad Santel Vs. Billy Robinson The two most recent, and perhaps strangest, signing for EWE to date put on a great techincal show, with Commissioner Wildfire watching from the timekeeper's position, taking notes. The finish saw Santel dodge a clothesline and use a leg sweep to set up the submission victory. Ad Santel def. Billy Robinson with the STF Rating: ** ½
Butcher Vachon*** Vs. Gangrel(w/ Luna Vachon) Vachon was completely distracted by Luna.. he kept trying to talk to her, but she would just scream and walk away. The constant lack of focus made for an easy win. After the match, Luna came in and kicked Vachon in the ribs for good measure before the two went to the back. Gangrel def. Butcher Vachon with the Impaler DDT. Rating: **
Naptown Dragons** Vs. Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon* The Vachons were on their game this time, with Pierre overwhelming the Dragons with his size, Scotty Vortekz got in a bit of offense, but it was short lived. Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon def. Naptown Dragons with a corner splash. Rating: *1/2.
The Commissioner's rare House show appearance turned into an even rarer address to the crowd. He announced that there would be a ladder match at Friday Night Fireworks to determine the #1 contender to the EWE Title, featuring Al Snow, Tommy Dreamer, Nick Mondo and Harker Dirge. The Sandman immediately came out to ask why he was left out, and apparently got a satisfactory answer, as he left happy.
Shawn Michaels**** Vs. Al Snow*** Michaels was looking for revenge, but Snow was on his game..he got HBK to lose his temper and turn the match into a hardcore slugfest. Snow got several near falls, but Michaels refused to be defeated again. He seemed to have the match won at last after Sweet Chin Music, but the Dudleys stormed the ring! Snow rolled out of the way as Michaels suffered a 3-D before the Outlaws came in for the save. Shawn Michaels def. Al Snow by DQ Rating: *** [/i]
EWE Tag Team Title Match Dudley Boyz vs. New Age Outlaws** The commissioner was not amused at the brawl, and ordered a match start instead of separating the two teams. The Dudleys had already had the upper hand, and continue to dominate, with Devon knocked Road Dogg near unconscious with a series of stiff chair shots. Michaels recovered just in time to use Sweet Chin Music to stop the 3-D. HBK dragged James over to Billy Gunn to make the tag and allow Gunn to hit the Famasser and allow the Outlaws to escape with the title. New Age Outlaws def. Dudley Boyz with the Famasser. Rating: * ½

Buh Buh called out the Outlaws after the match, but got no answer. Sam had to come out and let them know they were not in the building before they would go to the back. The Dudley Boys def. Pieree/'Pitbull' Vachon with multiple chair shots. Rating: ***
Ad Santel***** Vs. Spike Dudley Spike just refused to let up.. Santel never really got into the flow of the match as Dudley never gave him a moment to set up a move. Spike Dudley def. Ad Santel with the Acid Drop. Rating: ** ½
Billy Robinson* Vs. Drake Younger* Younger started strong, but the former Canadian title holder got him on the ground and showed why he had such a successful rin there. Billy Robinson def. Drake Younger with a European Backbreaker. Rating: **
Sam came out and told the crowd that the two 'tune up' matches for tomorrow night's #1 contender match were NOT ladder matches, but just in case anyone wanted to 'practice' he had security bring two ladder out to ringside and lay them on opposite sides of the ring.
Nick Mondo Vs. Harker Dirge* Mondo completely dominated, flynig around the ring and using the ladder as a battering ram on his way to the easy victory. Nick Mondo def. Harker Dirge with M/ Bison. Rating: */
Tommy Dreamer Vs. Al Snow Dreamer and Snow started the match with a handshake and a collar and elbow tie-up, and started off very tentatively. Snow was the first to go for it and landed a low blow, and friendship was out the window for a while. Tommy brought one of the ladders into the ring and dropped Snow on it with a DDT to split him open and get the win. After Snow recovered, Dreamer helped him up, and the two seemed to be buddies again, recapping the match as they walked to the back. Before the made it to the locker room, though, Harker Dirge and Gangrel attacked, touching off a brawl that eventually included Nick Mondo and Drake Younger as well. Tommy Dreamer def. Al Snow with a DDT. Rating: ***

Backstage: Commissioner Wildfire is in the back, talking to two men, with Sam standing behind him.
Wildfire: Sam will take care of everything you need, I have to get to the draft... Sam: You have 8 hours, sir. Wildfire: You don't want to be in charge tonight, Sam. Sam: No, Sir, I mean Yes,, I mean Wildfire: Just don't screw it up. The camera pans back to reveal Ken Shamrock and Carlos Colon. Sam: OK, er, sirs, lets discuss your matches tonight...
Naptown Dragons** Vs. Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon After a fast start from the Vachons, Scotty Vortekz battled back and landed Kiss of the Dragon to get the victory. Naptown Dragons def. Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon with Kiss of the Dragon. Rating: **
Tommy Dreamer came out to the ring, mic in hand. Dreamer: Before I fight through half the EWE to get a rematch for MY title, I have a little something to take care of. The AWA is claiming to have a “world' Extreme title, but yet look who fought for it. Lonny Mayne? Carlos Colon? Really? For those guys hardcore is a little salt in the eyes... or maybe a choke using the ropes. You want extreme, AWA? You want some action? You don't have to look far. Dreamer was interrupted by Carlos Colon, who sauntered out to the ring
Colon: You're a good fighter Tommy Dreamer, in your little world here. But you have not fought the Sheik. You have not fought the most evil of men, Abdullah the Butcher. You, Mr. Dreamer, are no Abdullah. I will show you, your Sam has told me to say 'Ring the bell'
Tommy Dreamer** Vs. Carlos Colon *** Fantastic match! Both men pulled out all the stops, with a lot of pride on the line. Colon dominated early on with impressive mat wrestling, but Dreamer was able to take the action outside, leading to a furious exchange outside. Colon got a ladder out fro under the ring, but took too long and Dreamer used it to good effect. Colon showed incredible toughness, kicking out of a Dreamer DDT on the ladder! Dreamer was shocked, and wasn't really able to follow up, Colon got the action back inside and locked in the figure four to get the victory. Carlos Colon def. Tommy Dreamer with a Figure Four Leglock. Rating: ****.
Drake Younger** Vs. Ad Santel** Younger's attempts to show off his wrestling ablility haven't been as successful as he'd hoped. He reverted to using a light tube to attempt to make sure he got the victory, but Santel shrugged off the shot and cut to the head and locked the STF in the center of the ring for the victory. Ad Santel Def. Drake Younger with the STF. Rating: ***
Backstage: Butcher Vachon went looking for his daughter, but found only Gangrel, who sucker punched him, then, after the lights went out, Vachon was in a puddle of blood, calling for 'Trudy' again.
Billy Robinson** Vs. Buh Buh Ray Dudley Robinson was unable to deal with the size of Buh Buh, who used a chair to good effect for the easy victory. Buh Buh Ray Dudley Def. Billy Robinson with a chair shot. Rating: **
Ken Shamrock from SSW came out after the match, clearly not willing to let someone else get a word in. Shamrock: Sandman! I'm not traitor... I'm as loyal as can be to my friends, you are NOT a friend. We briefly had a common enemy in the Bunkhouse Brawl, and after that enemy was disposed of, I took can of you. Since your alcohol-addled brain doesn't seem to be able to comprehend that, so I'll just have to beat some sense into it.
The Sandman Vs. Ken Shamrock* Shamrock stood in the ring, ready to grapple, while the Sandman was ready to cause pain.. he lead with the Cane... Shamrock never stood a chance. The Sandman def. Ken Shamrock with a Hardcore DDT. Rating: * ½
Ladder Match for a EWE Title Shot Tommy Dreamer** Vs. Nick Mondo*** Vs. Al Snow**** Vs. Harker Dirge*** The match was awash with high spots on the ladder, as one would expect. Tommy Dreamer was not 100% after his match with Colon, and hung back towards the start. Nick Mondo came out guns blazing, and took Al Snow out for a good part of the match with M. Bison from the ladder. Harker Dirge nearly won the match as Mondo recovered, but Dreamer rolled into the ladder and send him tumbling. That put Mondo in the driver's seat, but Dreamer got in the action, and the two brawl first over the ladder, then on it. When it seemed Dreamer may get the upper hand, Al Snow got back in the action! Snow started climbing up after Mondo, then changed his mind and knock the ladder over. Snow turned to get the other ladder, to catch it in the face after Dirge swung it. Dirge followed up with a Dirt Nap, then climbed the ladder. Mondo seemed primed to stop him, but Gangrel hit the ring for the distraction to allow Dirge to get the victory. Harker Dirge def. Tommy Dreamer, Nick Mondo, and Al Snow with a Dirt Nap. Rating: ****

And don't worry, this is this the EWE, they'll be plenty of extreme to go around. Enjoy the show!
Bob Backlund* Vs. Billy Robinson* These two men were incredibly evenly matched, and went hold for hold throughout the match. Robinson got frustrated when Backlund got a foot on the ropes after his double arm suplex, and Backlund took over. Bob Backlund def. Billy Robinson with a Rolling Backbridge. Rating: ***.
John Pesek Vs. Drake Younger**** Younger hung in for a while, but it was clear he just isn't quite ready to hang with the elite techincal wrestlers. Pesek worked on the knee and got him to tap. John Pesek def. Drake Younger with a knee bar. Rating: ** ½ ]
'Pretty Boy' Doug Somers/'Mr. Electricity' Steve Regal'** Vs. Heartbreak Express** Somers and Regal started strong, domiating Sean Davis, but when he was able to make a hot tag to Phil, it was all over. Heartbreak Express def. Somers/Regal with the Heartbreaker. Rating: ** ½
Gangrel Vs. George 'the Animal' Steele*** George the Animal at least proved he had a very hard head, shrugging off several DDTs before Gangrel went low to get the job done. Gangrel def. George 'the Animal' Steele with a low blow. Rating: *
X-Pac is scheduled in the match, but instead of just the new signed member, all of D-X hit the ring... 'Road Dogg' clearly had something to say.
James: I'm gonna tell you a little story. You see, there was once a tag team.. HBK: A GREAT tag team. James: some say a great tag team.. and they held the National Tag Team Titles. Now, this team. HBK: GREAT team. James: this GREAT team had a bad day, and dropped the title. Gunn, HBK, and X-Pac all groan in unison But surely that's get a re-match, right? HBK: NO! James: Exactly, so, the team came to the EWE crowd pops and won, how many ,matches, Shawn? HBK: That would be all of them, Dogg. James: That's right, every single god damn match! And what does that washed up valet in charge do? Offers us a non-title match to 'prove' ourselves. We are the NEW AGE OUTLAWS. We've held titles in three different territories in the organization, and the National Title besides... what do we have to prove? Maybe the LWA has something to prove to us, or maybe we'll just ride off into the sunset. And if you're not down with that, I got two words for ya.... Crowd was silent, not knowing what to make of the rant, as D-X finishes with their patented 'X' sign
George Hackenschmidt** Vs. X-Pac X-Pac threw a vicious flurry of kicks and chops early, but the big Russian shrugged them off, The action spilled outside, and an attempt at a shooting star press turned out to be disasterous. Hack picked Pac up in the center of the ring to lock in his Bear Hug for the win. George Hackenschmidt def. X-Pac with a Bear Hug. Rating: ***
Frank Gotch** Vs. Ad Santel*** Gotch was considered by most to be the 'crown jewel' of the draft, but he has some deep history with Santel. The match was truly a human chess match, with each man attempting to get the holds locked in, but somehow having his opponent roll out and threaten his own, until finally one man came out the victor. Ad Santel Def. Frank Gotch with the STF. Rating: ****
EWE Tag Team Title Match New Age Outlaws*** Vs. Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon The Outlaws were clearly looking past this match, and Pierre dominated early on, coming within a whisker of pinning Billy Gunn with Legacy of Pain, Gunn had enough, and made as if too leave, while HBK and X-Pac came through the crowd. X-Pac kept Pitbull busy while Sweet Chin Music laid out Pierre. The referee called for the bell as D-X left with all the gold. Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon def. New Age Outlaws by DQ. Rating: * ½

Friday Night Fireworks Mar. 6th. 2009 Hammerstein Ballroom
X-Pac Vs. George 'the Animal' Steele Very good, back and forth match. Steele's ferocity matched up well with X-Pac's martial arts, but in the end Steele was able to trap Pac in the corner and cjhoke him out. Steele then had a delicious turnbuckle snack after the match, to the delight of the crowd. George 'the Animal' Steele def. X-Pac with a choke. Rating: ** ½
Long Riders* Vs. Somers/Regal******* Regal in particular showed some impressive toughness, but the big Texans were not to be denied in their debut. After the match, they brought out a British flag and branded it. Scott got on the mic and said “they're ain't no Limeys in the world what can beat a true TEXAN. Those two Funk boys done us proud! Long Riders def. Somers/Regal with a Superplex. Rating: *** ½
After the strange display, Commissioner Wildfire came out to the ring. Wildfire: There's been such a HUGE response to the Pure title, that the tournament to crown a champion cannot be contained here in EWE! I'd like to announce that my good friend Rob Bennett will be hosting some of the tournament matches down in GNP! In addition, the 8 men who hope to compete for the belt will face off tonight to qualify for the tournament, and give our extreme fans here on Friday nights a healthy dollop of techinical wrestling to try on for size!
Pure Tournament Qualifiers
Ad Santel Vs. Frank Gotch* Santel and Gotch seemed to have some real intensity in the fight, as if there was something personal. Santel was strong early, but Gotch showed he is a true master of the ground game. Frank Gotch def. Ad Santel with the Gotch Toehold.
Drake Younger***Vs. Billy Robinson Younger was turned into a pretzel from the opening bell, but just refused to tap. Instead, he used a low blow to have the opportunity to roll out of the ring, and left the match, grumbling to himself. Billy Robinson def. Drake Younger by Countout. Rating: *
Backstage: Butcher Vachon corners Luna backstage... Butcher: Why, Trudy? Why won't you talk to me? If I'd only known you wanted to wrestler, your uncle and I could have trained you, opened doors, saved you from being.... this. But it's not to late. Luna screams, a shrill, ear piercing cry. The lights then go out, and, a few seconds later, Vachon is alone on the floor, in a pool of his own blood.
Nick Mondo*** Vs. John Pesek Pesek nearly broke Mondo's wrist before the referee stepped in and called for the bell. The tiger man is looking like he'll be tough to beat! John Pesek def. Nick Mondo with a Double wristlock. Rating: *
George Hackenschmidt* Vs. Bob Backlund** The best of the four qualifers! Hack looked invincible early, but Backlund was able to slither out of the bear hug on two different occasions... it seemed to frustrated the Russian and Backlund was able to take advantage. Bob Backlund def. George Hackenschmidt with Atomic Knee Drop: Rating: *** ½
Gangrel Vs. Shawn Michaels Gangrel had blood on his shirt as he entered the ring, and was not focused on the match... a bad recipe to face HBK. He concern didn't help him avoid the wrath of the Vachons, though, who came out and dropped him on the ring steps during the match.. the were ready to do some real damage when Michaels noticed them and demanded that toss him back in. It took them a moment's thought, but tossed the vampire back in after a few last kicks. Shawn Michaels def. Gangrel after outside interference. Rating: dud.
Michaels made himself scarce as the Dudley boys music hit.
Buh Buh: So.. D-Generation X... it looks like you just can't win a real match. I think it's pretty clear.. you're yellow. You can bear to face to real men in a real match. So, you've left me no choice... We've called in a little insurance. Next time we meet, Outlaws, you'll be in for a world of hurt, the kind of hurt only a Dudley can give. Devon: Oh my brother, TESTIFY!
EWE Title Match Harker Dirge* Vs. Billy Gunn** Dirge came out strong, but the champ advantage in size and strength was too much to overcome. Billy Gunn def. Harker Dirge with the Famasser. Rating: ** ½

Tuesday Night Throwdown Lost Battalion Hall, NY Mar. 10th, 2009
Backstage: The Dudleys are in Commisioner Wildfire's office.
Wildfire: I'll give you boys the contract, but this is your last chance. The Outlaws beat you again, and that will be the last shot you'll have at the title as long as they have it. Buh Buh: Thank you, sir. I promise you will be very impressed. Wildfire: For your sake, I hope so.
Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon Vs. Doug Somers/Steve Regal Very quick... Mr. Electricity put the Pitbull down hard and fast, for the easy win. Butcher Vachon was nowhere to be seen Somers/Regal def. The Vachons with a Crade Suplex. Rating: Dud
Pure Title Tournament, 1st Round Mick McManus**** Vs. Martin Stone**** McManus came out with a mic: McManus: The Guvnor of wrestling? Guvnor my arse. No wonder the Americans don't like we true Englishmen, when they have the likes of you to look at. You even made those brain dead yokels from Texas look good! At that point, Stone had heard enough, and attacked to start the match. This was quite possibly the match of the year to date in EWE. Both men gave it their all, but in the end McManus was able land such a sold forearm strike that Stone seemed to lose consciousness for a moment and allow him the victory. The crowd gave both men a standing ovation after the match. Mick McManus def. Martin Stone with a Running Forearm. Rating: **** ½
After the match, the Long Rider hit the ring with branding irons, looking to defend the honor of their home state. McManus fought them off, but was quickly outgunned when Stone got back up and joined in. The Long Riders and their weapons still seemed certain to do damage when Billy Robinson hit the ring with an iron and chased them off. The crowd went crazy for the Brits as the they stood tall in the center of the ring, no love lost but victorious for the moment.
Bob Backlund**** Vs. Ken Shamrock Shamrock was very impressive, wearing Backlund out with the Belly-to Belly time and again until finally securing the Ankle lock in the center of the ring for the victory. Ken Shamrock def. Bob Backlund with the Ankle Lock. Rating: **
Tommy Dreamer interrupted the Pure Title matches, heading out to the ring with something to say.
Dreamer: You remember me? big pop These Pure title matches are something, huh? Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that this is still Empire Wrestling EXTREME. I know the commissioner signed a whole lot of new wrestlers, mat technicians and shooters, but, well, I want to see if any of them have the balls for a good old fashion EWE fight! Step right up... after a minute or so, George Hackenschmidt answered the call, and Dreamer motioned for the timekeeper to ring the bell
Tommy Dreamer* Vs George Hackenschmidt**** This one had a slow start, but business picked up as the two men felt each other out. Dreamer took the action outside, and introduced Hack to the ring steps, the timekeeper's chair, and a variety of other old friends. The powerful Russian would not be denied, though, and locked in the Bear hug with blood streaming down his face and forced Dreamer to unconsciousness. George Hackenschmidt def. Tommy Dreamer with the Russian Bear Hug. Rating: ***
Heartbreak Express* Vs. Naptown Dragons****** The Express were determined to make a statement here, and dominated the early going, but they were unable to clsoe the deal despite some breathtaking teamwork. Scotty Vortekz clipped 'Superstar' Sean, seemingly taking out his knee and escaping with the victory. Naptown Dragons def. Heartbreak Express with Death from Above. Rating: *** ½
Frank Gotch ***Vs. Farmer Burns** Burns won the prize for the most memorable entrance of the night... the crowd gasped as he was wheeled in hanging from a gallows. As he reached the end of the ramp, he snapped his eyes open and started whistling 'Yankee Doodle' before reaching up and letting himself down. Rather than be impressed, though Gotch went right at the neck of Burns, thinking the stunt had to have an effect. Gotch quickly learned Burns' 20'' neck was the real deal, and Burns nearly forced him to tap early. Gotch realized his error and changed tactics, and was able to lock in the Gotch Toehold and move on to the next round after an excellent match. Frank Gotch def. Farmer Burns with the Gotch Toehold. Rating: *** ½
Chris Benoit vs. X-Pac The late addition of the D-X member proved a bad idea... no contest. Chris Benoit def. X-Pac with a diving headbutt. Rating; dud
Buh Buh Ray Dudley* Vs. Shawn Michaels** Buh Buh was primed to hurt his opponent, and went straight for a chair, waffling Michaels with it. HBK's stamina and ability quickly gave him the upper hand, though, until a huge German in a flannel shirt came down and and put Michaels down with a shot to the back of the head, then crushed him with a big splash in the corner while Buh Buh kept the referee busy. The pin was acedemic. After the win, Buh Buh hugged the big man, and yelled, “Uncle Wolfgang, everyone!” with a big smile on his face. Buh Buh Ray Dudley def, Shawn Michaels after Outside Interference. Rating: ** ½
