Dustin Lee* (w/ Sherri Martel) with Tombstone Piledriver @ 3:44. Rating: * ½ Robinson brought his A-game and completely destroyed Lee. Mistress Sherri was not pleased. Kevin Sullivan(w/ Luna Vachon) def. Ad Santel*** with the Golden Spike @ 4:18. Rating: * 3/4 Santel expected a wrestling match, but instead got the evil of Kevin Sullivan. His ferocity was stunning, and Santel was left in the center of the ring in a pool of his own blood. Sullivan dipped his fingers in it and licked them, then summoned the rest of his army Sullivan: Behold! See the consquences of standing before the Darkness! The Ram has alligned with the Falcon.. Darkness is ascendant! All will fall before us.. there will be no future. Luna screamed before the lights when out... when they came back on, Sullivan and his army were gone. George Hackenschmidt def. Danny Doring with a Bear Hug @ 2:57. Rating: * Doring once again came to the ring in D-X gear, but tapped almost immediately when Hack hooked in his Bear Hug.Backstage, 'Road Dogg' Jesse James stops Doring in the hall. Road Dogg: Listen, kid, I'm glad you're a fan... Doring: I'm no fan! I'm HBK's replacement... Billy said I was in. Road Dogg looks pretty skeptical Road Dogg: You sure about that, son? Well, I'll go see what he has to say. Doring: You do that, partner. Road Dogg goes off to find his partner.. who happens to run into Doring, who went in the other direction. Doring: Hey, Billy, what's up? Gunn: Who are you supposed to be? Doring: I'm Shawn's replacement... didn't Jesse tell you? Gunn looks skeptical as well, but offers his hand Gunn: It can't hurt to be even with the d**n Dudleys while Shawn is in Japan, let's get out of here. Doring smiles and the two leave the arena Devon Dudley*** def. X-Pac***with a chair shot @ 14:22. Rating:****1/4 Thrilling match that could have gone either way... and one of the first in a while between D-X and the Dudleys that was unmarred by interferance. X-Pac really threw a lot of damage Devon's way, but Devon was more willing to break the rules, and used repeated chair shots to get the victory. Nick Mondo(w/ Sherri Martel)**** def. Tor Kamata(w/ Kevin Sullivan and Luna Vachon)*** with Life Cutter @ 16:43. Rating: **** 1/4 Another fantastic match! Mondo seemed a little freaked out by Sulivan's routine, but Mistress Sherri grabbed him and seemed to snap him out of it. A wide variety of weapons were used, and both men were bleeding before the end of the match. After Mondo got the win, Sullivan tapped Luna, who screamed and attacked Mistress Sherri. That seemed to be a signal, as the rest of Wave of the Future came out of the crowd and surrounded the ring. Sullivan, swinging his Golden Spike, ran, laving Kamata alone in the ring. Martel reached under the ring and started tossing light tubes to her men, who each used them in creative ways on Kamata, who passed out due to blood loss. Tor Kamata injured for 6 weeks Long Riders def. Heartbreak Express when Scott hit Phil Davis with a Powerslam @ 2:26. Rating: * The Long Riders continue to quietly amass quite a good record. After the match, 'Wild' Bill was less quiet, demanding that the Long Riders get a shot at the Tag Champs after the Dudleys and D-X 'sort themselves out' Pure Title Match Frank Gotch def.. John Pesek**** with Gotch Toehold @ 12:38. Rating: *** Gotch was masterful, making Pesek look like an amateur. Very impressive win.

Friday Night Fireworks April 10th, 2009 Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC
Commissioner's Cup Title Match Billy Robinson def. Danny Doring** with a Reverse Neckbreaker @ 3:38. Rating: * 1/2 Fairly easy win for Robinson, who looks like he'll be tough to take the title off of.
Backstage, Doring runs into X-Pac:
Doring: Hey, bro, did you hear? X-Pac: Who are you? Doring: I'm Shawn's replacement... Danny Doring, chick magnet and wrestling icon... come on. X-Pac: Why are you here? Doring: Billy and Jesse sent me, they had to get to airport, so we have the tag title match tonight! X-Pac: What?!? Hold on... X-Pac pulls out his cell phone, and has a brief conversation Billy says your OK, so lets go, we got things to discuss. Doring smiles and follows X-Pac to the D-X locker room
Long Riders** def.Father's Day**with a Superplex on Father #1 @ 6:05. Rating: ** 1/2 The Long Riders continue to make a good case for a shot at the Dudleys with an impressive comeback against Father's Day.
A room is shown, with dim light... after a moment, the camera reveal Kevin Sullivan and the army of Darkness. Gangrel and Harker Dirge are standing at each of his shoulders, while Tor Kamata, obviously struggling to stay vertical is off to the right a bit.
Sullivan: It seems as though the great Army has.. stumbled. Perhaps, my vision was... hazy. I thought I saw the Dragon in the prominance of the 6th sign... but no. The downfall of the future is beginning to come into focus... and the Dragon, shall become...extinct.
At a minute signal from Sullivan, Dirge and Gangrel attack a shocked Tor Kamata. After brutally assaulting him, they toss him from the room, as Luna screams
Luna Vachon*(w/ Kevin Sullivan) def. Sherri Martel*** with a Spinning Facebuster @ 10:29. Rating: *** Very good match.. Luna really was locked in, and showed some good wrestling technique. Sullivan stayed out of the action, and actually chased off someone who was watching the match from the shadows.
John Pesek def.. George Hackenschmidt*with Double Wristlock @ 5:09. Rating: ** Pesek gets back in the win column in a painful to watch match.. very slow paced.
#1 Contender's Match for the Pure Title Brock Lesnar (CWA)* def. Kurt Angle (GNP)***** with the F-5 @ 17:43. Rating: *** 3/4 Great Match! Angle attempted to get Lesnar to tire himself out, but the next big thing was relentless, and was able to avenge his loss in the Pure Title tournament.
Tag Team Title Match Dudley Boyz**** def. X-Pac/Danny Doring****** with the 3-D @ 14:52. Rating: **** 1/4 This one seemed like a total mismatch on the surface, but the D-X team really showed heart. Their last of continunity and experience as a team turned out to make the difference.
EWE Title Match in a Cage Tommy Dreamer def. Wolfgang Dudley with the Dreamer Driver @ 4:13. Rating: ** Dreamer was focused, and completely dominated the match... Uncle Wolfgang looked slow and lumbering, and never got any sort of offense in... we have a new champion!

Tuesday Night Throwndown March 14th, 2009 Lost Battalion Hall, NY
Commissioner's Cup Title Match Billy Robinson def. Pierre Vachon** with Double Arm Suplex @ 3:12. Rating: ** Robinson continues to roll over opponents now that he's not focused on the Texans. Total squash here.
Ad Santel* def. Spike Dudley* with the STF @ 6:47. Rating: ** Entertaining match between two guys that have gotten lost in the shuffle of late. Santel did a nice job withstanding Spike's arial arsenal, then grounding him with the double wristlock to set up the STF.
Backstage: Billy Gunn is sitting outside the commissioner's office. After some cursing, 'Road Dogg' comes out.
Road Dogg: #$(+! The LWA screwed us again! Your good budding Doring apparently took our title rematch with Sean, so now we got work to do to get back at the Dudleys. And for what? A Bull #$## referee decision. I'm telling ya, there's gonna be something done.... Road Dogg storms off the the ring, without the usual entrance, and Gunn follows
Somers/Regal def. New Age Outlaws**** when Steve Regal catches Billy Gunn with a Cradle Suplex @ 6:38. Rating: ** 1/4 Huge upset! The Outlaws clearly had their mind elsewhere, and greatly underestimated their wily opponents. Somers and Regal brought their 'A' game for the big victory.
Non-Title Match Tommy Dreamer def. Drake Younger** with a DDT @ 4:42 Dreamer likes to give back, and gave Younger a shot at the champ... but Younger was not up to the task... easy win for the champ. [ /i]
After the match, the Army of Darkness stormed the ring, but the champ helped Younger hold them off until Mistress Sherri and the rest of Wave of the Future could even the odds. Sullivan, with his freaks pacing around the ring, had the mic:
Sullivan: I can see it now... I was a fool. My vision was not hazy... the haze was the vision... the haze shall come, and the future will fall.
Suddenly, a huge man in a purple hoodie nailed Nick Mondo from behind, and tore through Wave of the Future. Sullivan smiled as Luna's scream echoed through the arena
Sue Sexton def. Rockin' Robin** with a small package @ 8:14. Rating: ** Entertaining match that got the crowd really going. Robin was impressive with her high flying offense, but wasn't able to get enough impact to do much damage.
Scott Irvin*** def. Bubba Ray Dudley* with Power Slam @ 11:41. Rating: *** These two didn't hold anything back, with chairs, ropes and chains flying. The Long Riders sent a clear message with the strong victory.
#1 Contender's Match: Wolfgang Dudley def. George Hackenschmidt** with a Dudley Splash @ 3:01. rating: ** Dudley was well motivated to get a rematch with Tommy Dreamer, and completely destroyed Hackenschmidt

Friday Night Fireworks Apr. 17th, 2009 Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC
Commissioner's Cup Title Match Steve Regal def. Billy Robinson with a Cradle Suplex @ 3:15 to win the Commissioner's Cup! Rating: * ½ Robinson came out and offered to shake hands with his sometime ally, but Regal wasn't interested in friendship, and blasted him with a kick to the stomach.. Robinson never really recovered.
Drake Younger* (w/ Mistress Sherri) def. Gangrel** with Multiple shots with light tubes @ 7:23. Rating: ** ¼ (w/ Kevin Sulivan) Younger was in trouble early, but Mistress Sherri finally got him to stop trying to outwrestle Gangrel and fight, and the strategy proved a good one. After the match, with Sullivan shouting 'The Haze! The Haze!' A huge man in a purple hoodie hit the ring and obliterated Younger with a clothesline. The army piled on and did some real damage before the rest of Wave of the Future was able to make the save.
Heartbreak Express** def. X-Pac/Danny Doring*** with the Heartbreaker @ 9:11. Rating: *** Another very good performance in defeat for the new team of Doring and X-Pac, but still no victory.
The Outlaws met their teammates in the back after the match.
Road Dogg: Listen, Danny, you're a good kid, and I know you're Billy's friend (Gunn looks confused at that) but who told you to cash in our title shot?
Doring: It's not like you guys have been impressive lately, and the commissioner suggested it.. we just accepted.
Road Dogg: Just remember you're only here until we don't need you any more... and don't steal from me again. The Outlaws storm off. X-Pac, torn, nods to his partner then follows
Ad Santel def. Bob Armstrong* with the STF @ 1: 48. Rating: * Santel is looking to get himself in the picture for a Pure title shot, and was impressive here... tough outing for Armstrong.
Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon* def. Naptown Dragons(w/ Mistress Sherri)*** with Exploder Suplex @ 8:03. Rating: ** ½ The Vachons best match in some time, as Wave of the Future continues to struggle.
Video package airs promising an Extreme legend will debut next week, clips included Taz, New Jack, RVD, Shane Douglas and Raven. One of those men will debut next week on Friday Night Fireworks
Brock Lesnar/ Mr. Wrestling II***** def. Frank Gotch/John Pesek***** with F-5 on Pesek @ 14:29. Rating: **** Gotch is not generally used to tag team action, but wanted a chance at 'the next big thing' before their battle for the pure title. This was a great match, the featured some fantastic mat wrestling. Lesnar was able to escape both the Gotch Toehold and the Double Wristlock at different points in the match, and still had enough to overpower his smaller opponents. Lesnar promised he would be taking the pure Title south after Revolution.
EWE Heavyweight Title Match Tommy Dreamer def. Wolfgang Dudley** with a DDT @ 7: 40. Rating: ** ¼ Dreamer was in control for most of the match and seems to have figured out the big German. Decent match, but not much doubt of the outcome.

Tuesday Night Throwdown Lost Battalion Hall, NYC Apr. 21st, 2009
Commissioner's Cup Title Match Steve Regal def. 'Wild' Bill Irwin* with a cross body block @ 4:52. Rating: * Irwin seemed out of his element, and Mr. Electricity was able to get the easy victory.
Naptown Dragons (w/ Mistress Sherri) def. Gangrel/Harker Dirge***(w/ Kevin Sullivan) with a Cyclone Kick on Gangrel @ 14:07. Rating** ½ [/b] Impressive ring work by the Dragons, who looked like a well oiled machine. Sullivan's men were on the defensive for most of the match. After the pinfall, a fog fell over the ring, and the man christened by Sullivan as 'Purple Haze' nearly decapitated Scotty Vortekz with a lariat to the back of the head. He was very close to get up.
Scotty Vortekz injured 3 weeks
Sullivan stays in the ring, and gets hold of a mic: Sullivan: Welcome, my followers! Today is the day... the Haze shall rise, and blot out the light of the future! There is no need for signs and portents, for the will be no future... the Haze has come!
Spike Dudley* def. Purple Haze with the Acid Drop @ 3:13. Rating: ½ * The Haze delivered a vicious spinebuster just after the opening bell, and looked like he's go on to a squash when Dustin Lee took out Kevin Sullivan with a light tube and caused a distraction. Spike took advantage to hit a low blow, the hit the Acid Drop for the upset victory.
Backstage, Sam knocks on the commissioner's door.
Sam: Jim Cornette to see you, sir? Wildfire: what's he doing here? Sam: Sir? Wildfire: Well, I didn't invite him, did you? Sam: Sir, the AWA Tag champs are in town this week, you did book them in a match tonight, didn't you? the commissioner looks confused, then his eyes widen for a moment Wildfire: Well don't just stand there, send him in!.
Wolfgang Dudley* def. Bob Armstrong** with the Dudley Splash @ 7:02. Rating: ** ½ Armstrong stayed away from the big man early, but once Dudley got his hands on him, it was all over. After the pin, Dudley picked Armstrong up by the neck and was screaming at him, seeming to ask him something, but Armstong didn't answer. Dudley brutally tossed his aside and stormed off
Non-Title Match Frank Gotch** def. Ad Santel****** with a Rolling Kneebar @ 11:54. Rating*** ½ Gotch was looking for a tune up for Brock Lesnar, and he got all he could handle from Santel. Great mat wrestling throughout.. it could have easily gone either way.
Non-Title Match Nick Mondo**(w/ Mistress Sherri) def. Tommy Dreamer* with Assault Driver @ 5:34. Rating: ** ¾ The reason for Tommy giving matches to Wave of the Future seemed clear here, as Sherri Martel got on the apron and got in the champs face.. but he seemed to be amused. He slapped her bottom to send her on her way, getting a huge pop, but Martel got the last laugh as Mondo used the distraction to set up the Assault Driver to get the huge victory.
EWE Tag Team Title Match Dudley Boys def. Long Riders** w/ Dudley Death Drop @ 4:11. Rating: ** easy win for the champs.. the Long Riders looked like real rubes in this one.
AWA US Tag Team Title Match New Age Outlaws* def. Midnight Express***** by DQ when Jim Cornette nailed the referee with his tennis racket @ 9:18. Rating: *** ¼ The Outlaws were back on the game for this one, against a team that seemed to have their number. Lane was cornered, and it seemed like a sure win for D-X when Jim Cornette, who had been claiming local bias throughout the match, waffled the referee with his tennis racket before he could count three.

Friday Night Fireworks Mar. 23rd , 2009 Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC
The show begins with Commissioner Wildfire in the ring
Wildfire: We promised you a big debut this week, and by God, I'm going to deliver. Since it's my cup, I'm going to skip the randomness of Steve Regal's partner today. Instead, let us welcome the newest member of the EWE. Rob...Van...Dam!
Commissioner's Cup Title Steve Regal* def. Rob Van Dam****** with Cradle Suplex @ 15:26. Rating: **** Very good match! Regal ignored the boos and threw his all into the match.. Van Dam just kept coming, despite Regal contolling most of the offense. The crowd was electric when Van Dam made a comeback, but it was short lived.
Regal: Did you see that? It's not Monday Night, Van Dam! Friday night is the time for Mr. Electricity! I'm gonna hold this for just long enough to get a match against Tommy Dreamer, then you'll be looking at the EWE heavyweight champion! Stick that in you pipe and smoke it!
Billy Robinson* def. Doug Somers** with a flying clothesline @ 4:34. Rating: ** Robinson is clearly not happy with the actions of his friends in pursuit of the Commissioner's cup, and took it out on Doug Somers for an easy win.
Kevin Sullivan def. George Hackenschmidt* @ 3:34 with Tree of Woe. The powerful Russian has been trying to adjust to a hard core style, but he wasn't prepared for the madness of Kevin Sullivan. He was split open with the Golden Spike before the referee stopped the match as Sullivan battered him in the tree of woe.
Long Riders def. Heartbreak Express with Superplex @ 1:53. Rating: ½ * The Heartbreak Express once again fails to get over the hump and loses to a determined team of Texans.
Backstage: The Dudleys (with Uncle Wolfgang) show up unannounced in the office of the Commissioner.
Buh Buh: What's the story, 'boss'? The US Tag Team champs are in town, and you give the match to those losers in D-X. If you're not gonna give us a fair shake..
Sam looks meaningfully at the commissioner, who has his head in his hands. After Buh Buh winds down, the commish sighs and looks up to answer.
Wildfire: Look, guys, I completely forgot about the Midnights... I only gave the match to the Outlaws because everyone else was already on the card. You'll get them tonight, though not in a title match. You beat them, and I'll go to bat for you for a title shot.
the Dudleys seems happy, but Wildfire isn't finished yet.
Wildfire: … and to answer your question about Bullet Bob, the answer is yes.
Devon: Testify! A pleased bunch of Dudleys leave the office to get ready for their match.
Steel Cage Challenge Purple Haze(w/ Kevin Sullivan) def. Dustin Lee** with the Belzebub Sleeper @ 6:42. Lee was on fire at the start of the match, but was unable to sustain the momentum. The Haze pounded him into the cage again and again until he was already nearly unconscious... the sleeper just added insult to injury.
Wolfgang Dudley def. Jesse James*** with the Dudley Splash @ 6:32. Rating: ** The Road Dogg came in with fire in his eyes, but the big German was too much for him. After the match, the video screen showed Bob Armstrong laying amidst the wreckage of a table, unconscious. Wolfgang Dudley picked him up by the throat and whispered something to him before tossing him across the ring and leaving. James was shaken badly, and took a long time to get back to the locker room.
EWE Title Match Tommy Dreamer def. Nick Mondo(w/ Mistress Sherri)** with a DDT @ 4:31. Rating: * ¾ Dreamer didn't like Sherri distract him in a title match, and made short work of Mondo. He made sure to give her a little tap on the bottom after the match, just to let her know he noticed her.
Non-Title Match Midnight Express Vs Dudley Boyz – No Contest This match was over before it started.. the New Age Outlaws stormed the ring with chairs and took out both teams. 'Road Dogg' grabbed a mic and screamed at the fallen Dudleys. 'You crossed the line, now, boys. It's not fun and games anymore... it's personal!'
He then pounded Devon with the chair over and over until Bob Armstrong slowly came out and took the chair from his hands, nearly passing out with the effort. Armstrong put his hand on James shoulder and the two left together, talking softly.
Devon Dudley injury 5 weeks

It'll be up to the AWA title committee as to whether the NAO or the Dudleys get another shot at the Midnights... I'm sure the fans want to see it, though! I was pretty much horrified that Steve Regal beat RVD, but that's what makes the game interesting

Dirge/Gangrel def. Heartbreak Express**** with Impaler DDT @ 6:43. Rating: ** ½ The Heartbreak Express is struggling, with no exception here.
Rockin' Robin def. Sherri Martel*** with a running cross body @ 4:26. Rating: ** Robin had the crowd on their feel with her high flying moves on her way to the victory.
Drake Younger(w/ Sherri Martel)*** def. Kevin Sullivan(w/ Luna Vachon)** with Drake's Landing @ 7:50. Rating *** ¼ Wild match that involved a lot of interference from Wave of the Future and the Army of Darkness. In the end, it came down to who was better in the ring.
X-Pac def. Rob Van Dam***** w/ X-Factor @ 11:29. Rating: ** ¼ Lots of kicks slowed RVD down. He never really got any offense going.
Non-Title Match Bob Backlund def. Frank Gotch* with Atomic Knee Drop @ 3:24. Rating: * ¼ The world champ came home to a thunderous ovation with his new AWA World title belt. Gotch didn't have much on this day, as Backlund won easily.

Tuesday Night Throwdown Lost Battalion Hall, NYC Apr. 28th, 2009
Commissioner Wildfire: I was not happy at the actions of the Dudleys or 'Road Dogg' Jesse James on Friday night. Not happy at all. I love Extreme action, but there is a line... both men have crossed it. It will not happen again. EWE's next PPV event will be on Friday, May 22nd. Showdown will feature the final battle between Degeneration X and the Dudley Family. The two sides will face off in a steel cage elimination challenge... the team who survives, stays. The loser will no longer be welcome in an EWE ring.
'Road Dogg' will face Buh Buh Ray in tonight's main event.. that will be the last time D-X and the Dudleys fight before Showdown. There will be no more incidents. Spike Dudley will substitute for Devon while he's recovering from Friday's attack.
On a more positive note, KRW champion's Carnival Winner Giant Baba and International Women's champion Akira Hakuto will both be in town for the event. Ms. Hakuto will defend her title against an EWE talent, while Giant Baba will challenge for the Pure Title.
Commissioner's Cup Title Match George Hackenschmidt***def. Steve Regal with a Heel Hook @ 6:32. Rating: ** ¼ Regal came out full of confidence, and dominated the early match. Hack got back to his wrestling roots and used a drop toe hold to get Regal in position for a heel hook for the sudden victory. Regal was beside himself.
Rob Van Dam def. Danny Doring* with the Five Star Frog Splash @ 3:43. Rating: * ½ RVD finally gives the crowd something to support with the easy victory.
After the match, Doring runs into 'Road Dogg' getting ready for him match.
Doring: Jesse! My man! I wanted to ask you something.. Road Dogg: … Doring: Yeah, I wanted to make sure you were gonna let me be in the match with the Dudleys, I know Shawn is coming back, but what those @#$$@ did to your dad. Road Dogg slams his fist into a locker just over Doring's head, then leaves
Pierre/'Pitbull' Vachon def.. Long Riders** with Legacy of Pain @ 3:34. Rating: * ¼ This was the best the Vachons have looked since Butcher vanished, very impressive win. Sherri Martel appreared at ringside and talked to Pierre after the match,
Harker Dirge*(w/ Kevin Sullivan and Luna Vachon) def. Dustin Lee*** with leg drop over ropes @ 10:21. Rating: ** ½ Lee came out alone, and the numbers game definitely hurt him. Sullivan and Luna got involved every time Lee got any momentum.
Lee stormed into the Wave of the Future locker room after the match, but Mistress Sherri was nowhere to be found. Lee shook his head and left the arena.
Non-Title Match John Pesek AWA WORLD Champion def. Bob Backlund with keylock wristhold @ 2:21. Rating: dud The World champ got a huge ovation as he came out. He thanked the crowd, and said that he was happy to be back to where the best wrestlers in the AWA were! The match itself was very short.. with Backlund tapping VERY quickly, as if he didn't want to get hurt. He clapped a confused Pesek on the back as he headed to the back.
Ad Santel def. Bob Armstrong*with the STF @ 4:17. Rating: * Armstrong was not 100%, but clearly wanted to show the Dudleys he was not going to be put out of action. Santel made quick work of him. Wolfgang Dudley hit the ring after the match, but quickly ran when 'Road Dogg' hit the ring with a sledge hammer.
'Road Dogg' Jesse James def. Buh Buh Ray Dudley. With Pump Handle slam @ 4:01 The commissioner came out before Buh Buh Ray with a squad of security, taking the sledge and surrounding the ring to ensure no one made a mess of his PPV event. James was well motivated, and won a fairly quick match in convincing fashion. [/b]
